Very good service, very good Beef Taco and Rolled Tacos with guacamole.
Only down side was lack of adequate air conditioning on this very warm day. But wouldn’t stop me from coming back and don’t let it discourage you from trying this place out.

Worst Mexican restaurant I ever ate at. I am Mexican myself, so I eat a lot of Mexican food. The chicken burrito should not be a burrito. It should be called tortilla with meat inside. It has no rice or beans (at least). Oh and if you have a arm card, there is a $ 5.00 minimum. I couldn’t get a side of beans for my nasty burrito after I posed my first order. Adding to bad experience, all the tables were dirty, so I kindly asked to get it cleaned saying «do you have a rag so I can clean the table» — hoping she would clean it herself. But instead handed me a dirty rag!!! Overall I came to the conclusion that this Mexican restaurant (In a middle class community) stays in business because people don’t worry much about money. If this restaurant was in east riverside, it wouldn’t last s month. I’m sorry if you had to read all this, I just had to vent in a upset stomach.

California burrito, bomb. Tacos? Bombb, everything else ?? Bombbb. … it’s all really good and made to order, so quit driving around this is the place to go to if you want some real mexican food, ot just go to chipotle, you cant handle the truth.

The food was cool and disgusting and had no flavor … The avocado was gross. Not only that they charged me twice on my debit card. Never coming back again. Worst place ever !!!

I’ve tried many of the menu items and they are all very good. The Carne asada is excellent — on fries in a burrito or on a combo plate in tacos. Juicy, not fatty or tough. The cheese enchiladas are delicious. Super cheesy with a great sauce, served with homemade rice and beans and tapped with shredded lettuce and more cheese.
A favorite is the flying saucer which is a big crispy flour tortilla topped with beans, your choice of meat (try the carnitas) lettice, tomato, Pico DE Gallo sour cream and cheese. It’s a huge meal and oh so good.

I’m done looking for the Roberto’sd Taco Shop! I have drove a great distance to visit them and both the San Diego off the 15 fwy and the riverside location are closed. Both business location bare another companies’ name but when i called on the phone they claimed they were Roberto’s. DONE!

Late night hunger? Their open until 10pm. The burritos are huge and tasty. Some people will Unilocal one star because their order was wrong. Well, here’s an old cliché that always works, everybody makes mistakes. When it comes to Mexican food, this is one of my favorite places to visit. Most items are made to order so the food is always hot and fresh. I agree with all the 3+ Unilocal.I’m not seeing the one star here. Order a burrito at lunch and ask the chef to cut it in half because it my be enough for your dinner as well.

Visited my grandpa at riverside national cemetery and bf suggested we stop by here so we did. The place is small but clean. Ordered grilled chicken tacos and asada tacos and they’re both very delicious! Well seasoned meats. Didnt need sauce at all. Not sure about the other comments but tacos had alot of meat in them. $ 11.69 for 4 tacos great deal! Only concern are the girls at register. Kept talking about random non work related things while im ordering. Obviously, no one taught them that its disrespectful to be doing that infront of a customer, no shame all loud and obnoxious. At least have the decency to let me finish ordering then you can talk about anything you want. I dont even know you but the five minutes I was there I found out one of the girls will be working 6 days now and that she will be making money and the other is heading to Starbucks. I remember my first job minimum wage at 7.25 at the time and never slacked off like that. Anyway, great food, along with great life stories from the girls.

Cali burrito is worth the 20 minute drive. I always tip, it’s bomb, why not!? Chicken cali to be specific

Not only did you get my simple order wrong, which i was nice enough not to call and complain once i got home and realized. but also gave me some food that made me sick to my stomach accompanied by the diarrhea. Great job taco shop wont be back

I give this place 2 stars because it has changed so much and not for the better. Their food used to be the best quality AND quantity but lately I’ve been seeing burritos getting smaller, portions getting smaller, less meat, and less everything. I used to come here for the best California burritos in riverside but it doesn’t taste the same anymore and they are way smaller. Disappointed in this place.

California burrito eaten by that guy, looked tasty and smelled good. I had three rolled tacos with guacamole. That was pretty good, fast from the best, also far from the worst. All and all, the pre-​dinner experiences was cool.

Amazing food. Buuut couldnt enjoy it due to the poor customer service skills the cashiers had. They were not friendly at all, they were loud, abnoxious young teenagers who were just in a hurry to get our order and go back on there phones and social networks. Whatever they spoke about you can hear outside the taco shop. Orderd food for dine in and were handed a plastic bag to go? Dissapointed with our experience. They need to hire people with good customer service skills, because poor customer service can ruin your entire appetite. Bad for business.

Didn’t like the chicken burrito. Not very appetizing.

Last week I ordered four chicken burritos, salsa, chips, rice and beans for our school staff. We found a rodent tooth in the food. Took it there to confront them today, and they basically said too bad, whatever!!! I will post a picture of the tooth!!!

Hole in the wall with the best food. Cali Burrito and Tacos are yummy. Fast service and the people are very friendly.

I used to work in this area and would frequent this place a few times a month. I used to enjoy their chile relleno and carne asada fries and burritos. The bf likes the Cali burrito.
I am assuming ownership has changed as the name is now Rolando’s and I did not recognize any of the employees. The prices have also been raised by an average of $ 1.
I ordered a pastor burrito and Cali burrito after the young cahsier who actually spoke clear English was not interested in explaining the difference between a regular burrito and the special burritos such as Congo etc. $ 13 for 2 bland burritos was not what I had hoped for. The meat tastes as if it was boiled until soft then added to the burrito. They did not have any good salsa to help it along either.

I use to come here all the time when I was in high school. I tried my first California burrito here. I still think this place has one of the best. If you haven’t had a California burrito, try it! You won’t regret it.

i’ve been coming here for at least 10 years. they have the california burrito i compare all other california burritos to. the taquitos with guacamole are fire and the salsa bar is dank. those zanahorias too. anyone who talks bad about this spot isn’t down for californian-​mexican food. stick to el torito (and im not talking about el torito off limonite).
service is fine. get with it or get out.

This place is seriously lousy. I ordered a carnitas burrito and when I received it, it was in a tortilla that hadn’t been cooked. It was stuck to the paper. I went back to the counter to either get the burrito rerolled or get a plate. What I got from the counter person was a big attitude and that to add a plate it would cost more money.
I didn’t feel like the counter person really cared about me as a customer. I won’t go back!
