Great little family place. I don’t even bother ordering from the busy place down the street since my family and I are very happy with the pupusas that these ladies make. I always ask for the hottest salsa and the heat in it has never let me down. The interior of this little establishment if humble as are the people that work there, and if ur short on time then call in ur order.

I decided to add something this year and bring my family some pupusas to compliment The Prime Rib I make every year for Christmas. So while I was at Stater Bros. I glanced over at a sign at the end of the strip mall that said Pupusas. I walked in and I was greeted by the nicest person. He happened to be the owner as I introduced myself he shook my hand and asked me how he could serve me. I didn’t know what to say let alone order since I’m a naïve«Mexicano» and have no adea about what Pupusas to order. So he asked me what I liked and before you know it my wife and I are eating some hot tender love in a smooth blanket of maza filled with beans, chicharon y queso. After I inhaled my meal I ordered 2 dozen to go. My family was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the Pupusas were. I’ll be ordering this bad boys every year from here on out. Thank you St. Milton you have a costumer for life. P. S. I literally drank the«Curtido» pickled cabbage with spices and other godly veggies. Highly recommend this place. Clean cozy and a real no filter family business.=)

Disclosure: If you are looking for authentic Salvidorian food, this is the place for you. Now, I must also say this is a «hole in the wall». Food: Pupusas are made to order, fresh and not greasy. Perfect size not over stuffed with«masa». They use good stringy cheese. Full of flavor. Mmm They are missing 1 star because the customer service was mediocre and the tables needed cleaning. There is room for improvement while there, I noticed they had a steady flow of traffic and they are seemingly popular with the locals.

The pupusas are amazing, very delicious! I’m salvadoran myself so I can say that they are authentic made. It has a simple look inside the restuarant but do not let that deter you from ordering something. I mostly go for the pupusas and tamales, so I highly recommend those! Good horchata too!

The service and food at this location are AMAZING! LIGHTYEARS better than the place across the street! This location serves REAL Salvadorian food(not Papusas along with American/Mexican/etc.) and it is cooked to perfection! THe interior is simply decorated and kind of tight, but it’s comfortable and the location(it’s in the corner of the strip mall) is often quiet and easy to find parking near. The owner of this place is incredibly kind, and generous, and their Papusa’s are AMAZING! Our favorites are the bean & cheese, and the vegetarian(beans, rice, cheese & cream w/fresh tortillas) dish! 2 Papusa’s + the veggie dish are MORE than enough for a meal, and if you wash it down with a «Fruit Salad» fresca drink, it is PERFECT! On our visit, we showed up 10 minutes after the place was supposed to close, yet were treated with patience and generosity and not asked or encouraged to hurry up. I truly can’t recommend this place highly enough, and hope more people discover it, as it is truly the best in town, if not the Inland Empire! We will DEFINITELY be visiting this place again!

The pupusas taste good. they need to work on their phone skills and service manners. treat a customer right and he’ll be coming back for more.

Today I came in just to sample a meat pie if possible. Man said they didn’t have any. I asked if the Pastelitos listed on their menu was the same as a meat pie(please remember I am a gringo). He said it was slightly the same. So i gave it a try. My first time. interesting texture of the shell/crust. akin to that of a dry peanutbutter cookie. I will return to try the PuPusas and see how that compares to the two other places I have tried in RIverside. who knows, maybe my score will improve for this place.

Greatest Salvadorean Restaurant the IE has to offer and i got 3 Salvadorians to back me. You got to order the Salada de fruitas and for winter time the atol’e for the winter time. All the pupusa are a must and the beans and cream are a must to dip em in it. The soups are good. Ive had all the pupusas and the Steak encebollada, Chicharron and fried yucca are amazing. Dont even bother with the place across the street not as great.

I finally tried this place out and man, was I sorry. This place is dirty, it looks like they don’t clean the tables or floor very often. The condiment containers were also sticky and dirty. We asked for some ice with our canned soda and the ice tasted like dirty old freezer. The tamales had a weird taste, and the pupusas were very greasy. On top of that the lady serving us was not very friendly, not only that, but she was handling cash and cooking at the same time. Gross. I DONOT recommend this place at all.

I enjoyed this place! I had never had pupusas, so I am no expert whatsoever, but I thought they were tasty. They were served really hot and fresh too which was nice! The staff was really friendly and the place was clean. The food was good, not crazy exceptional, but good! I was quite satisfied with my experience here.

The service here was fine, and the pupusas were fine. They didn’t offer very many types of pupusas, which was disappointing. Overall, my experience was just ok. Next time I want pupusas, I’ll probably try the restaurant across the street.

Came here a while back, but I recall their pupusas being one of the better tasty ones. I’ve been to quite a few Salvadoran restaurants(about 8+), and the pupusas here are not that greasy(only a little!) I can actually pick-up one of their pupusas without it having to leak oil all over my hand. They are also very tasty! My husband(Filipino) is not used to eating pupusas(this was the 2nd time I took him to a Salvadoran restaurant), but he had no problem stuffing himself with a few(they are kinda big). This casual eatery has a full menu. We mainly came for the pupusas, and we ordered some authentic Salvadoran tamales on the side — they have a different taste from what I’m used to, but they are still GOOD. They are called chipillin? And they come wrapped in a plantain leaf. If you are a fan of pupusas, you will like it here =) The tamales will do if you are a tamale fan.

I grew up eating the best homemade Pupusas made by Grandma, this is the closes I can get to those. These are the best Pupusas around, they’re not your typical greasy Pupusas that you get everywhere else.

Food is really fresh and delicious. Horchata is addicting. Clean, cheap, and people are friendly.
