This is honestly a hidden gem located in Riverside. I’ve done a lot of research on Unilocal for good potential hair salons to get my hair dyed and styled nearby because I didn’t want to drive very far to Orange County or Los Angeles just to get my hair done, so I found Noey on Instagram! I had friends that had previously gone to her before, so I figured I’d give her a try. I had to wait a month before my appointment date because she was fully booked for awhile.
IT WAS SO WORTH IT! Noey is such a sweet girl and knows exactly what to do with her client’s hair. I went in knowing I wanted another balayage ombré, and she suggested an ashy light caramel balayage for my hair since I wanted to go a little lighter. She was a very fast worker too! I was prepared to stay for at least 3 – 4 hours but I think it only took like 2 hours? I will definitely be returning to her!

Looking for a new salon? This one rocks, it’s a hidden gem in Riverside. Tucked away in a quiet strip center this salon has an upbeat contemporary feel. Elsa has been doing my hair for years and I would follow her anywhere! If you need a new hair salon give this place a try, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Ashley did such a great job on my hair! My hair has been through the ringer, been every color you can think of, so I wanted to make it pretty and add some blonde for this summer, and she gave me exactly what I wanted! Going back for my next session in april, since it is a process… but I cannot be more excited for my hair transformation. Thanks ashley!

I have been following Noey to get my hair done back when she worked in long beach to this salon. This salon is so cutely decorated and all the girls are really nice and helpful. Noey not only does amazing work on my hair each & every time but she is kind, helpful and makes sure I am taken care of. She also uses the best products on my hair and makes sure I know of good deals going on in the salon. Can’t say I have ever been disappointed with her service. If I do change my mind or have second thoughts I bring it to her attention to get a second opinion. Will not be changing hair dressers for a long time!

5 star service! Noey is an AMAZING stylist, I was recommended to her by many people, when I finally went in for a color service I was so glad I did! Not only did I leave feeling like a whole new person, my hair was gorgeous, but most importantly the service was AMAZING! I felt like I was at a day spa, right as I walked in I was greeted and offered something to drink and a bagel! All of the girls there were so sweet and attentive, not to mention the salon is absolutely adorable! Something straight out of Pinterest! I will be going back as a regular client for years to come!

Love this salon! Lindsay has been doing my hair for a couple of years now. I have super thick hair, and it was incredibly difficult to find someone who knew how to cut my hair without using thinning shears or making it frizzy with volume overload. Then I met Lindsay Slater. She is so good, my hair is always blown out to perfection, cut or colored perfectly. She always gives me tips to easily manage or style my hair in new ways. She is easy to talk to too. The salon has a little coffee bar too. I can’t say enough good things! You must see her!

I came her based on a recommendation from a friend and I would recommend the same to everyone else! I got my hair highlighted (ombré) by Noey and she seriously is so good at ombré/​balyage/​highlights/​coloring/​cuts you name it. Brittany always squeezes me in on my last minute tight schedule & even came in on her day off to make sure my hair was all pretty. I come all the way from LA for her even after almost 7 years. Definitely make an appointment you won’t regret it. She’s super talented & super sweet.

Melinda Reyes has been my go-​to hair girl & fellow chatter-​box babe for years.
Not only was she able to bring my long «oh hell-​no» damaged darkest-​brown hair back to life — but also, over time, her magic hands were able to lighten & brighten my mane to all sorts of soft ombré (better known as sombré) caramel loveliness.
She’s a honest hair stylist that cares for your hair. She will always take the more careful & thoughtful route when transitioning color and/​or hair cut lengths. She talks out her course of action & does her best to translate the look and feel you want to achieve.
Aside from her talent in hair — she is a genuinely great person to sit for. Every appointment is never boring & is filled with great conversation.
I have recommended her to a number of friends and family that continue to frequent her chair even today.

As for Prim & Proper — the salon is a wonderful and relaxing place! Stock full of refreshments & good reads with great inspiration — the salon gives a nice «getaway without having to getaway» feel. The girls have an incredible vibe with one another & it translates, in not only the way they work with one another, but in how they interact with their clients.

Lindsay has been doing my hair for about a year, and it always looks great. Im particular about my hair and found her based on a recommendation from my previous stylist when I moved to Riverside.
My hair is long and I have a lot done to it (2 colors + highlights), but it stays very healthy when I visit her regularly. I also know I get a good cut because it grows gracefully, not becoming shapeless or flat looking.
I frequently get compliments on my hair, and I definitely would recommend this stylist and salon.

I seriously love this place. I’ve been going to Noey for years. She’s an insanely talented individual. I’ll never make the mistake of going to someone else ever again!
I always feel so welcomed when I go there. The stylists are always so nice. The vibe of happy and comfortable. And that coffee bar?! Such a treat!

After 14 years of the same hair stylist I went to Prim and Proper to see Noey. I have to say she is amazing. She is a true colorist… I left the Salon and I couldnt stop starring at my hair. It was a 45 min drive from Norwalk and worth every second. If your in the area stop by and see Noey. If your from LA or OC or even SD she is worth the drive.
