I love popeyes I go to the one in murrieta ca usually but I’m conducting business in riverside so I thought I would stop by a eat here. WRONG DESCION.
Christian the cashier us very ill mannered young man. Rude and crass and the conversations he’s having with a coworker in front of customers were not needed. Needs to learn how to deal with people in the service industry. As a hiring manager I would not hire him. Also got chicken mixed pieces and they were barely cooked. Will not be going back.

Ordered 2 to go orders of the three piece chicken strip meal and it took 25 mins. Very unprepared. They need to be more stocked for the busy times.

I have had so many issues with this specific Popeyes. However, today I called to put in a large order and they would not make a simple exception for me. The exception was to change regular strips to the spicy strips. I even talked to the manager (the person that can make executive decisions) and she still wouldn’t make that simple exception. So I ended up spending an EXTRA $ 15 on all of our food! It sounded like they really didn’t care, to be honest. I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS POPEYES. They do not like to take care of their customers.

Worst Popeyes in riverside horrible customer service, very very unorganized be aware to be there 30mns for to go orders because they do forget to put tickets up and even forget to get your food ready not the first or second time it has happened to me, never going there again people have to get food to go and are on a time frame why bother going to a place that will be taking up your whole lunch! Come on get your shit together

So it’s still the best fried chicken and the Tuesday special is now $ 1.79. Kayla is AWESOME and friendly! The biscuits are the bomb and the hubby likes their apple pies. And you can’t beat the survey coupon!

Me and my wife frequent here pretty often. The customer service is great and they get your food out pretty fast. I love the biscuits with honey and there Cajun fries. The chicken strips are delicious make sure you get the spicy!!!

Best Fried Chicken on the market… This restaurant serves very fresh tasting food… Cajun fries, chicken, red beans & rice, you name it. The employees here are very nice, even though they are very busy. I notice that lots of Popeye’s restaurants have no lower than a 3 star review and that is good to see.

Horrible service, terrible management. The food was dried up and cold. The Health Dept need’s to take another serious look at this facility.

On 7÷29÷15 my boyfriend and I went to Popeyes i placed my order and when we received it I noticed my order was wrong I told the cashier that helped us that I didn’t order two number 10s. (I had ordered number 3 and number 10) instead of trying to fix the problem she started arguing with me saying that I did. When I know I didn’t I don’t even like thier fried shrimp so why would I order it? She didn’t even offer to fix the problem. I work at a restaurant as a cashier as well and whenever I mess up I admit it and fix the costumes order. It’s the right thing to do. So today I called to complain and well it turns out she’s the manager. I’m still so annoyed. I will never go back to this Popeyes!

I agree with the other reviews on the service being lackluster & the prices sucking. You pay like $ 8.50 for a small 2 piece meal. For that you can get a real meal, tastier & much healthier meal, e.g. thai or phở
Anyway, don’t order the mild, get the spicy, always. The mild is bland & often dry as hell because no one orders it so it sits under a heat lamp longer. I made the mild mistake today & like my dad says, «chicken so dry ya gotta eat it in the rain!»

They need better customer service. The ladies taking the orders are so rude. Plus they need to be retrain them on their menu, they had no idea what the prices were. And their prices are not so reasonable (it’s fried chicken). I give them 3 stars because my kids did like the popcorn shrimp.

The chicken tenders are amazing! They have the best sweet tea ever! The lines are kind of long but that’s expected with good food

I’ve been sick for the past few days and they say you should stuff a cold, so we had dinner at Popeye’s. Let’s face it, I was not about to cook. We both got a $ 5 meal, which included 3 tenders, 2 sides and a biscuit. The cashier was very friendly and worked quickly. We had to wait a few minutes for the sides to be made, but it was worth it.
Everything I ordered was fresh and delicious. It was a ton of food, especially for $ 5. I ordered double fries and couldn’t finish them, so it’s worth it! Also, be sure to try their blackened ranch. It’s got a kick to it, and it’s so delicious!

I love their chicken. Easier to get to compared to KFC. Staff is very helpful. They have helped me to my car with large purchases. Line can be long but they get through it quick. We get Popeyes every month for our staff. This Popeyes is found in the lowes parking lot.

Not happy at all with this location! Waiting 40min for my order and when I hot home half of our chicken was not fully cooked, ordered chicken strips not the tue spacial. Played almost $ 40.00 Disappointed… Not sure will go back to this location. It was so busy that’s why, I think they where in a hurry to get chicken out. Hopefully we don’t get sick from the bad chicken. Called and the line was busy couldn’t even complaint to manager. Gave one star because the staff was nice!

This was my very first time eating at a Popeye’s and I came to this location in Riverside. I was not satisfied with the customer service or food. My boyfriend and I ordered the same combo. His food took 5 minutes to make then my food took an additional 13 minutes after him. I waited almost a total of 20 minutes for my food. It’s supposed to be fast food but it was a very long wait & it wasn’t all that busy, it was pretty steady.
I came back to the counter because I had forgotten to ask for ranch. I was standing behind the counter for a good 5 minutes before any of the employees acknowledged me. One of the employee’s was just standing behind the counter waiting for a customer to order. The customer was still looking at the menu & the employee didn’t even say «i’ll be right with you» or ask if I had a question while she waited for the other customer. they pretty much acted like I wasn’t there and what made me more irritated was that the manager was just standing around. He made eye contact with me twice but walked away and started wiping down counters. I thought the service was slow & employees were somewhat rude & shouldn’t have customers waiting around & not acknowledging them especially a MANAGER who sees you obviously waiting for something.
The food was also not all that great, I personally prefer KFC over Popeye’s. KFC is also a little cheaper, I usually spend $ 6 – 7 there for a meal and at Popeye’s I spent $ 10 for a meal.

I live out in Moreno Valley, and even though we have a Popeyes in our town, I only go to this one. I dont care to get bone-​in chicken, but their chicken tenders are as good as can be. Tender, juicy and freshly fried. Yes its a fast food chain, but it doesnt take away from the fact that they use real chicken breast. the mashed potatoes were ordinary, but i did enjoy their cajun style gravy with it. Best of all, i always get TWO buttermilk biscuits. They’re the best ive ever had and you can eat them by themselves. no extra butter, jam or honey needed. its just that good. Every other place that you can buy biscuits (grocery store included), doesnt compare at all. Heck, even my kids loved the biscuits!

It’s what you would expect. Nothing about the place, people or service to make it more or less than just your average fast food restaurant.

The best chicken for me better than KFC but looooooong wait!!! Took them 13minutes for just 2 order of combo.

I love Popeye’s Spicy Chicken! I think it is the best fried chicken that I have ever had. I would rate the Spicy Chicken 5 stars by itself. When you factor in the other elements of the restaurant the ratings drop to three stars.
The sides, prices, portion sizes, service and restaurant cleanliness all contribute to a lower rating.
