Since last posting we have become fairly regular customers here. Whenever I visit my husband for lunch we tend to go to here. It has some of the best pizza in the state. Seriously, try this place out. I’m a New Haven pizza snob (and surrounding towns) and didn’t think I’d love a place so close to NY, but it’s fantastic. The staff is really friendly and always engage in a friendly way with out kids.

Best option for delivery around. Straight forward Italian red sauce and pizza joint. Delivery is relatively quick and prices are very fair for Greenwich. Lots of Parking so it is very easy to pickup too
Chicken fingers and pizza plus Netflix is a great evening in. Thank you for the good food.

So an update — just ordered chicken parm dinner — so so so good — chicken was moist and delicious– the flavor was excellent– I wish they used a bigger container for the amazingly generous portion — just so there was moor room for moor cheese but all and all YUM!!! But here’s the surprise — the salad. Most pizza places throw some crappy lettuce in — well not this place — really high quality lettuce carrots cucumber — all fresh and delicious–

I love this place. The food is great. I live in Stamford literally at most a 5 – 10 minute drive from this place. I ordered delivery today, a wrap and meatballs and over an hour later I am still waiting… This is horrible customer service. Not to mention I called and asked if my food was being delivered only to be told yes with no details and a swift hang up.

I have been coming to Pomodoro Trattoria for almost 14 years… it never disappoints. They always treat me like family —today I was enjoying a delicious eggplant rollantini at the vintage marble bar and I saw the owner Mark making his rounds around the dining room. He eventually made his way to me and heard I got engaged, congratulated me and complimented my ring.
The food is consistently amazing*** the staff is spot on and the atmosphere is rustic and welcoming.
I love team Pomodoro! !!

We ate here during our Valentine’s visit in Greenwich last February and had an incredible meal, and we ate here again this year and were quite satisfied with the meal and the service. There was a miscommunication on my part regarding my pasta and having it placed in a to-​go container, and our server ended up having additional pasta made. It was extremely nice of them and I felt bad for the miscommunication, but it just goes to show the kind of excellent service Pomodoro has. I highly recommend the carbonara and penne alla vodka. If you’re looking for delicious comfort food in a relaxed environment with great service and reasonable prices, this is the place to go.

Take out via Seamless was prompt. Pasta was below average and although I specifically ordered pasta primavera which has only vegetables and no meat, it came with no vegetables and very chewy clam meat. Pasta was overcooked.

This place is great. Been ordering from pomodoro to my office a few times while recovering from injuries, and they’re pretty quick about it. Their s+mb is one of the best I’ve had around here, especially for the price. They aren’t stingy with the portions either!

Great atmosphere and decent menu selection. Generous portions and the service is prompt and friendly. The location is great and convenient and it’s right next door to DiMare’s pastry shop so you can get a great meal and excellent dessert all in the same area.

First time here. Visited for lunch. The specials looked awesome but unfortunately they didn’t have my first choice doe to popularity over the weekend. Ended up with the Lobster Ravioli and was not disappointed. So delicious! Rarely do you find a lobster ravioli with distinguishable lobster and lobster flavor. This was amazing. Partnered with shrimp and asparagus it was perfect! Pasta fagioli was also very good. A little tomato-​y for my taste but very good overall.

The other night I dined in for the first time at Pomodoro. The service was very quick and capable, almost uncannily-​fast for my date’s wine order. I had the fettuccine Alfredo, and I opted for the whole wheat pasta which turned out to be a linguine. Very rich, very hearty, and very good. Really the only negative was my indecisive date, but our server took it in stride. There were no real downsides except for the fact that they were out of the IPA that I wanted. Although it has a strip mall ambience, overall Pomodoro knows what they are doing when it comes to food. The homemade mozzarella is a testament to that.

So I stopped in to this restaurant the other day because I going into a new Acme supermarket located next-​door. I needed him a late lunch and I ordered a slice of margarita pizza and mozzarella sticks. Margarita slices heated up and the crust was very crispy and delicious. In regards to the mozzarella sticks they were a very large portion and were fantastic. I’m looking forward to coming back here with the family

I tried the braised beef lasagna for the first time tonight, and all I can say is WOW! I’ve never lasagna prepared this way and the beef was extremely tender and the reduction sauce was drizzled perfectly over it not to make the pasta soggy. I hope they keep it on the menu permanently. A+. Plus the service was great.

Dined at Pomodoro yesterday, got food poisoning with vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea… My husband is OK and the only item we did not share was a side of prosciutto…
Nice atmosphere and friendly people, good pizza but please look into your food and, especially meat, handling!

I was really looking forward to a nice meal, instead we had horrible service and the food was
not good, My pizzetta was awful, overcooked and the dough tasted terrible as did the sauce.
My friend has Zuppa de Pesce, the scallops were so small it was disgusting and the side of spaghetti the sauce tasted like out of a can. The waiter never came back and asked us how our food was and when it came to paying the bill I told the waiter our issues and he just shrugged his shoulder and walked away. No customer service, no caring about even trying to retain us as a customer.
Very Disappointed!
