My kids liked their beef phở, especially when I told the waiter do not add any herbs or vegetables in their phở. He brought it liked we requested. its a big deal for my kids, many other phở place does not listen. Our waiter provided excellent service. He was attentive, had refills on drinks, he came back again to clear our dishes. anticipated my needs with the scissors and extra small soup bowls for my two babies, when I told him they will share the phở. with out me asking he brought a scissor so I can cut the noodles for them. The BBQ beef Bahn Mi, wow! full on flavor, bread warm and scrumptious.

When we first started dining at this phở restaurant, there were about 8 – 9 tables in a cozy living room sized space. This place would get quite busy and the two managers, who are still the same kind persons, always moving about to get customers in, fed, full and happy, and out. They’re the hardest working restaurant management I’ve seen. Can’t forget the kitchen staff too! Open 7 days a week and always the two of them. They remember us especially Ness and Peter. Recently they’ve expanded their restaurant to occupy the space next door. Good for them! More room for the kitchen dance :-). The newer space has better elbow room for diners. The new theme is not typical restaurant imagery, but it’s fun! Speaking of kitchen dance, I guess it’s relevant to that — kind of looks like a dance studio. Kudos to the artist cuz all walls look hand painted; not wall paper. As for the food, always phở noodles. I love the soup broth! Their smallest bowl is a medium. Phở can make me full and I do feel guilty for not finishing noodles. Doesn’t taste the same if not fresh from their kitchen. Plenty of rice plates and appetizing appetizers on their menu as well. You’re missing out on homely food if you enjoy Vietnamese cuisine and haven’t dined here yet. Give them a try :-). Also FYI(and makes sense to me) boba smoothies are not served in winter, only Thai ice tea. If that bums you out, let them make it up to you with excellent food and flavor, kind service, and an affordable meal for the family.

Great service, very clean, and not to mention delicious. Charbroiled chicken rolls are great. Fresh lemonade… Was a little sweet but my little one loved it. Servers were friendly and very attentive. Will definitely be coming back.

Decent phở without driving out of Riverside! I love phở. It’s good when I’m hungry, it’s good when I’m sick, it’s good when I’m cold, it’s just plain good. It’s also great to share a large bowl with the hubbie and have him order other great items for variety. We split the phở and the ban mi, and had a more than satisfying lunch. I also got the thai iced tea. All the food was pretty good. Once again, I reserve my 5* for really one of the best places ever… and it wasn’t quite that. But it’s more than great for where it’s located. I always complain about having to drive so far to get decent Asian food, and I’m glad to have discovered this place. They’re currently undergoing a renovation, but it’s a decent sized space and doesn’t need much. The best Asian food places are quite often hole in the walls, right? — — — — — — — — — — — – Explanation of my rating system — 5*: Epitome of something, the best I’ve had, would LOVE to go back 4*: Great food and happy to go back regularly, but not the best of the category 3*: Food is fine. I may spontaneously decide to go there based on convenience. But no need to go back either. 2*: If you insist, I guess I’ll come along. I’ll find something to eat. But I wouldn’t have picked it. 1*: No plans to come back. I’ll try to talk companions out of going.
