When I read the other reviews, I assumed they were talking about another company. We had an OUTSTANDING experience with PacWest Power. I dragged my feet on going solar, because I knew it would be a big project, and my wife was worried the panels would look ugly. But after interviewing a few companies, we finally decided to go with PacWest, because they gave us a competitive price, and were one of the few companies that was willing to work with the HERO program on financing. They were also accommodating in where they placed the panels. We ended-up needing 54 panels(!), and the routing of the conduit to the electrical panel was complicated. But believe-it-or-not, the system is not that noticeable, because of the extra effort the guys put in. Richard, who is one of the partners in the company, was especially excellent. He and his wife actually came to our house on a Saturday morning just to make sure we were happy with everything. And it only took about a month for us to get connected to the grid(which Richard completely handled). Our electricity bills went from close to $ 700… to 96 cents!!! I will definitely be referring my friends to PacWest Power.

This is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with in my life. First I will talk about how unprofessional they are. When they were installing the brackets on our roof, two of the guys were fighting, yelling, and cussing at each other. One of the guys was yelling«why do I have to show you how to do this again, you’ve already done it?!» And the other guy yelled«I know what the F I’m doing bro shut up.» There is no uniform that they wear, one guy was wearing his hat sideways and another guy had his pants so far down and sagging I could see his whole butt and underwear. When they were installing the panels, they broke the bricks on our roof and promised to fix them. They weren’t fixed for over 5 months, the same amount of time it took them to get our solar running. My husband would call the director, Richard and ask about the status and he would either ignore his phone calls, not call him back, and when he would talk to him, he would lie about the process. For example, he would tell him that the final inspection passed and come to find out it didn’t, it failed. So after the second final inspection when we were told it passed, he kept telling us that they submitted the paperwork to Edison and we were waiting for them to approve it and turn it on. WRONG. We called Edison and they told us they didn’t receive any paperwork from the solar company, so once again we were lied to. After 5 long months we finally got it turned on only because it got to the point where we had to start yelling and threatening law suits. WORSTEXPERIENCEEVER!!!

Probably the worst experience I could have ever had. Like the other review these guys have no clue what they are doing. I must have heard about 20+ excuses to this and that and this and that. I signed paperwork in August and didn’t get my solar turned on until February 2nd. That’s pretty sad If I had to do this over again I probably wouldn’t have even gotten solar if I knew their program was gonna run how it did. Solar is finally on 6 months later and I will not recommend anyone to the headache I went through.
