Pacific Pools & Patios

I’m updating my review to more accurately portray my experience with Pacific Pools and Patios. My initial review was on the subcontractor who did patio repair work later on, so I’ll be creating a review on him later.
Pacific Pools did a colored and stamped concrete patio, Alumawood patio cover, fire pit and some landscaping for me in 2010. Too date, everything has held up perfectly. I’ve had neighbors who used other companies and their concrete needed to be repaired within a year. I also referred Chuck to one neighbor who got a pool installed, and he is also very happy with the pool and the price.
Chuck has been very professional with the subcontractor issue and is helping me do some additional repairs that are needed (we had a window cleaner step on the lattice work and bend the Alumawood). I would definitely use them again.

We started our pool in ¹⁰⁄₂₀₁₄ — They came highly recommended to us by friends on our daughters soccer team. We are super satisfied with the service! The communication is amazing! During the bidding process we were given several options to fit our needs. They custom fit our pool to the slope in our backyard. When we signed contracts and were explained everything thoroughly. Melissa was a great help picking our colors for the spa. Chuck was amazing during the process and was onsite the first day and continued to check on construction until the final day. Any questions I had to were answered quickly. WE WOULD RECOMEND THIS PACIFIC POOLS TO ANYONE WHO NEEDED A POOL! He also referred us to an amazing concrete contractor to have the Deck poured.

Update. I’d like to give no stars but Unilocal wont let me erase the last one. Chuck saw my review and was shocked at how unhappy we were to work with him. His response is laughable. Yes chuck I was «(very) busy with my young son» as you stated and being 9 months pregnant I was very busy making sure he did not go into the back yard because of all the dangers there were with the construction. His back yard was tore up and there was large equipment being used. What 3 yr old would not be excited? And really Chuck, I was soo busy with my young son and soo pregnant that I did not speak with you once during the project? REALLY? its not even possible for that to be true. You remember speaking with me at your office don’t you? I threw an emotional fit because your choices of trim where not anything I liked. I was actually embarrassed at the way my hormonal fit clouded my judgment and was rude in saying all of your choices were ugly. but you don’t remember that or any other time I talked to you at my house. He makes a comment that between the beer cans and the pool toys he saw in the back yard it looked like we were enjoying the pool. Damn right we were. We never said anything about not enjoying the pool! You think we’d spend over 70k for a new backyard and pool, we would not enjoy it just because we had a horrible experience building it with the contractor and some of the trim was messy??? That comment was hysterical. Also its non of your business how we enjoy our pool. Any way Chuck goes on to deny every thing which is nothing new so I am not going to go into it much more because im am soo done with the whole situation. He’s was very rude in his email and unprofessional in his response. He called me a liar and said my post untruthful. I guess I would look like a liar to a delusional person. I responded to his last email and I posted close up pictures here of some of the work he contracted out. He saw them and he sends my husband a picture from when the work had just been finished and not completely dried, also about 30 ft away so you could not see the detailed work up close, and says look no white globs. lmao. of coarse. ill post the pictures he sent too so you all can see and agree with chuck lol yes no white globs from that far and the day after when the job is not completely dry lol. You can form your own opinion. He called us unethical and should have emailed him like everyone else… So we are not the only ones with problems? Why bother emailing? You heard what the emails are like. The problems we address are denied and we are called liars lol. I am so done with this company. I am done explaining to him what we experienced and how we felt and then him denying everything and being rude. Im lucky the job was finished thanks to our concrete guy and that the pool actually works. What a great experience.

What an amazing group of people!!! Many thanks to Chuck, Gary, Melissa and all of your crew for an outstanding job building our pool. My husband and I cannot express enough our gratitude for making this experience stress free, you have exceeded our expectations. You have tirelessly answered our questions, offered suggestions from the moment Gary came in with the proposal, to Chuck making sure the job was done correctly and Melissa for always responding to our calls/​e-​mails/​questions. With all the horror stories we read about building a pool, we were fortunate enough to have selected a group of individuals who are professional and pleasant to work with. You have met each and every target, and were true to your word. Good job guys!
