Ohana Sushi

The Sushi was fresh, they had fast service, the place was very clean, and the prices are pretty good. Overall this is a very good sushi restaurant

If I could rate it half a star I would. Food was mediocre Service was really bad. They try to overcharge me 91.70 on a 60.00 bill. employees don’t speak a lick of English do not recommend this overpriced place

Well worth more then 5 stars. Sushi was so fresh and the service was so quick. Definitely a place to come when you want authentic sushi.

I’ve been to this place twice since the remodel. Prior to the remodel it was one of my favorite spots in the IE. Both times the service was extremely horrible, particular the elder lady that serves. She even had an argument with the chefs. The other servers I’ve had since the remodel were not attentive. Far from welcoming. Did I mention very slow too now. I thought it was just my unfortunate experiences, twice, but my friend that introduced me to the place went the other day too. Even though service was crap because this had been a favorite spot I told her you guys remodeled and she should give it a try. Well, I never mentioned anything about service but she told me she went and had the worse service ever and would never go back. I agree, there are too many places that treat the customers with respect that I can go to. I will never be back and her and her friends said the same thing. Went from loyal customers to never again. At least I know it wasn’t a race issue cause that’s what I thought at first.

The service here is horrible sometimes. When i get the all you can eat sushi menu, i expect to get another roll as soon as i finish the previous ones i ordered. I waited 40 minutes before a server came to get me my second round. Im not joking, 40 minutes. I constantly called them over and all they would say is «ill be right with you».They weren’t even very busy. Sushi in general is pretty good but the service is really frustrating.

My son and I went here two months ago and we have been there five or six times after.
Sam the sushi chef is very helpful in choices of taste. the prep, look & tast of the sushi, sashimi & rolls are great I suggest the moutain roll.

We’re from Oregon and were in town visiting a friend. We all 3 had the «all you can eat» sushi. Everything we ordered was good and freshly made. Service was friendly and fast.

This review is strictly based on our 4 visits at this restaurant. Every time we have dined at this place we have never been disappointed. Our food is always delicious. The Ramen is awesome especially on a cold day. the chicken Yaki soba is great, there has only been two places that I have actually loved this dish and this is one of them. I have tried it at many other places and have been disappointed. My daughter loves the chicken katsu and the hungry roll is awesome. we have yet to try a dish or roll that we do not like.

This place has the best AYCE Sushi! We have tried a number of places closer to home and have decided to just make the drive. The service is always excellent and the staff remember us no matter how long it’s been. I highly recommend this place!

Only reason this place gets two stars is because their overall appearance is beautiful very elegant. Also the bathrooms are spotless. Now for the sushi i have nothing great to say. They didn’t look appetizing at all. Our waitress was extremely rude and gave me dirty looks after i asked for a refill. i wont come here again.

Their sushi rolls are gross. Everything is laced in MAYO… even the imitation crab… so gross I feel like I’m gonna barf it up now. I won’t be back! Save your $ and time!

The shrimp tempura was perfect the California rolls were tasty and the kids meal was the size for a full-​grown adult it was great!

First of all they felt the need to automatically add a 15% gratuity to my bill. Since when do you add gratuity to a 2 person check?? She would of got a bigger tip of she didn’t feel the need to add that herself. Second one of our rolls had baked salmon in it and it was cold like it just came out of the fridge. That’s disgusting, if the fish is cooked then why is it freezing cold? I will not return to this place especially when there is other ayce sushi paves with more choices on the menu.

The remodeled room looked amazing, nice and clean. The sushi was great but the baked green muscles were a thumbs down. Too small and not enough stuff on top. The server was nice put I think it got a little too busy for her to handle by herself. All in all, it was okay.

Came here for the first tonight because I wasn’t in the mood to wait an hour for Asahi.
I, of course did the AYCE. I mainly ordered sushi (nigiri) because I find rolls too filling! I like to leave knowing ate a lot not feeling like I did.
What I recommend:
— Miso soup, smells and tastes delicious and it actually has tofu unlike Asahi!
— salmon, yellow tail, albacore, tuna all definite yes!
— fresh water eel, it was super good! Loved it!
— octopus is in the middle it tasted good but was a bit too chewy for me, I believe it’s just it’s texture. Nothing really wrong I just particularly wouldn’t say it’s my favorite.
What I don’t recommend:
— Baked green mussel is a for sure no no. Way too watery and tasted way too fishy!
Overall, everything was pretty good. Service was great!

Wow, amazing service!!! The staff is super attentive and greeted all customers with a smile! All the staff was so friendly and great taste in food! Definitely will be coming back once again!

Got all you can eat sushi cause we were hungry. The mussels had a weird taste to them as if they didn’t wash them good enough. I usually love mussels. The rolls on the all you can eat menu are all the same thing with a different names and the good ones are not on the all you can eat menu. Basically crab meat on crab meat lathered in mayo. Kind of like the sushi at ⁷⁄₁₁. The second round came out and I just couldn’t eat it anymore because they literally triple rolled the seaweed so I was basically chewing it like gum. Gross. Nice people but the sushi is not worth the 24 dollars. Will not be returning.

This place is awesome! It used to be akina teppan sushi but they changed the name and took the hibachi grills out. It still has the all you can eat sushi menu for a really cheap price. The staff is the same and they have great service. I always recommend sitting at the sushi bar and get James to be your sushi guy, he knows what he’s doing. Extremely recommended! The place can get busy, that’s how you know is good.
