I am so upset that they closed this establishment! I’ve been religiously going here since it has opened. The food is amazing and so different from the nasty regular fast food run of the mill. This is such a loss!!! AND… Jason’s closed so abruptly! NOT Cool!!!

First and last time customer. Ordered the California club sandwich(recommend by cashier) it was not very big, it had wilted spoiled nasty lettuce. So I told the manager I want my money back they never said sorry or would you like to order anything else? First time and last never going there again! Small portions not fresh. I told the managers the lettuce had brown on the bottom(Rude heavy set Hispanic lady) of the base of it and they still couldn’t except that and wanted to justify? $ 7.80 for a club on a small croissant roll? Rip off place, portions are tiny! The place was empty? It had more employees than customers! No wonder they CLOSED!

How could this place close?! I am baffled! This was my favorite place to get yummy sandwiches. The beefeater and the smokey jack panini were the best. And they had FREEICECREAM! I mean, who doesn’t love free ice cream lol. Anyway, I really do hope they open up another location.

Lol. Oh lord. This girl working the registers cannot take orders! I literally had to repeat myself 7 times in order for her to understand that I wanted one«New York Yankee» with mustard only and one«New York Yankee» with mayo only. Lol wow. Mind you, it is not loud in here and there is only one other table in here, it’s very quiet so she can hear me loud and clear. I had my husband listening over the phone too lol he heard how much I had to dumb down the order in order for her to understand. Geezes. I hope she’s a new girl, if not, wow! Haha Excited to try their stuff. Will update review once edibles are tested :)

I love Jason’s Deli! My favorite sandwiches are the California Club and Reuben the Great. I always get it with a side of fruit and yogurt dipping sauce. Free soft serve ice cream too!

Good food. I like coming here but they are always out of muffins and I just paid $ 5.50 for a small bowl of soup like you would get as a side dish… Why so expensive?

Walked in… waited to be acknowledged… got ignored… shuffled around a little to try to be acknowledged… got ignored… went over to the take out side… got ignored some more… finally asked if I could order and was told to go back to the other side… ooookay. All that aside, I tried the salami muffaletta. it was okay, not really for me though. I also tried the broccoli cheese soup which had good flavor, but it was so thick I almost felt like I was just eating melted cheese(like velveeta), not soup. The french onion soup was terrible. Its a soup made of onion, but it had no flavor at all? IDK how u can have a soup full of onion and not even taste onion. Last but not least — the desserts I tried are very good! I bumped my review up one star for the chocolate chip cookies and brownies. Very tasty desserts. If I ever go back that’s all I’ll be getting.

Overall, I did have a good lunch, but you guys were a little off your game today. Out of 2 soups, 1 of them was the one I wanted(Gumbo). You guys have great gumbo. I ordered the Ruben and asked for it on wheat. I was asked if I wanted it toasted or not, I said no. It came toasted. When my order arrived, I was given a plastic spoon and was told you’re out of metal spoons. Although these were minor issues, they did add up and it was Monday at 1:20 when I went, so not sure if you had a busy lunch rush or not but maybe some better focus on some things. I still had a great lunch though and enjoyed the broccoli cheddar soup.

Better than panera. I wish there was one closer, I love the fresh chips and the sandwiches here. I got the turkey with avocado(so Cali girl) and I when I am back in this area I want to try the tuna melt… The salad bar is pretty good too they have decent selections and it is kept clean and full even during the rush lunch hour.

I used to live in Texas, where Jason’s Deli is practically a state-wide obsession. When I moved to Los Angeles, Jason’s was one thing I really missed about my previous state, so I occasionally drive to Riverside to get some of their food. The round trip usually takes about three hours — so that alone should tell you how much I think of their meals. It’s rare to find food that is so yummy and good for you at the same time. Most food I find is usually one or the other, but Jason’s is both. I especially love their spinach wraps and soup. And the fact that they give out nutrition and calorie information about their meals — more places should do this.

Good quality food with nice people and lots of seating. I usually get the salad bar with a side of Salmon(gotta get my protein). I like to see all those guys in uniforms and guns in their holster. I am thinking this is one of the safest places to eat in Riverside.

After spending a long evening shopping for California king bed sets(close to impossible task in this area) the Hubbs and I were starving. Him, knowing I have a deep love of sandwiches, spotted this place and suggested we try it. Bless his heart. We strolled in about 10 minutes to close(8:50-ish) Once I realized we were so close to closing time(9 pm) I apologized immediately but the cashier was very cool about it. I ordered the Royale club(came with a side of steamed veggies) and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. Hubbs got a sandwich also and he got chips with his. All to-go order. We were then invited to enjoy FREEICECREAMWHILEWEWAIT. UMOKAYYESPLEASE. That was a lovely lovely surprise as we had never read about this place. One of the cooks then comes up and very apologetically informed me they were out of broccoli cheddar soup(insert pouty face) but he said he would be willing to make more it would just take a little longer. Because I’m not a dirt bag I said to not worry about it and instead ordered the chicken pot pie soup(oh goodness it was so good) Got our food in a timely matter and rushed home to chow down. Bottom line it was SODELISH. Wish I could have gotten a picture but the food was so good it didn’t stand a chance of survival much longer. Nice staff, clean restaurant, yummy and filling comfort food, could probably be pricey to some but not us. Will be back.

A popular choice for the local business folk and federal agencies in the area. Hearty meals with soups to compliment any sandwhich. Seasonally, they have a Turkey Cranberry sandwich that is my personal favorite. Soups are fresh and they deliver, both in quality and to your place of work or residence. The salad bar is roboust and you can easily make a meal out of that alone. More stars to follow with continued good service and quality experiences over time.

I LOVETHISPLACEWITHALLMYLITTLEHEART! Seriously this is like the best place to go eat when you are in doubt of where to eat cause you will not be disappointed! Best sandwiches ever! I love that everything is fresh, natural, or organic. I know that if I’m eating here my food isn’t going to be processed like other places. Definitely give this place a try! :) Esp when you are in the riverside area there’s really not that much options to choose from lol When i’m in the area. I always stop by here to eat!

I’m not exactly a huge fan of sandwich restaurants, especially those of a chain variety. Jason’s Deli was a popular workplace take out location when I was in San Antonio, so I was actually stoked to find one here near Riverside. My girlfriend(who holds a deep appreciation for a well made sandwich) had never been to Jason’s Deli, so it was time for me to reunite and her to be introduced. Although I’ve never been disappointed with anything from Jason’s, my «go to» is their«Reuben the great». Finding a well made Reuben simply isn’t an easy task, you know? Portions here are more than generous, every sandwich I’ve ever had has been flavorful with fresh and quality ingredients. If you’re sick of sandwich establishments in the Subway and Quiznos variety, and want a more unique menu with expanded offerings outside the norm, and at a higher quality level, give this place a go. The free ice cream is a nice touch as well. Personally I contend they should change the«Muffalletta» to be called the«Lottamuffa». Just so it wouldn’t be sexist, maybe have a Polish offering called«Sausage Fest». Just throwin’ out ideas …

I’ve never met this Jason guy before, but I must compliment him on his deli.(Friday the 13th music starts playing. –_-… No, not that Jason…) Jason’s Deli is a neat little joint that offers various salads, soups, and sandwiches. They have several other locations but this particular one is the closest to me. The interior is quite large and spacious which is a plus for me. I tried the Amy’s Turkey-O sandwich and it was turkey-OMG-tasty. The turkey tasted great and the onion bun it was in was soft and fresh. I could’ve done w/o the raw purple onions in the sandwich, but that’s just my nit-picky opinion. They have an awesome looking salad bar and u can make yours as big or small as u want. As Captain Planet would say–«the power is yours!» A nice little«extra» is that they offer free soft serve ice cream(chocolate, vanilla, or swirl) here. I personally go w/the chocolate/vanilla swirl so that I can get the best of both worlds.(Make sure to grab a cone to go. Hits the spot as you’re walking to your car in the summer heat ;) Service seemed to be generally good. Even the gal who scolded me for not putting my large order number atop the do-dad on the table so she could see it across the room instead of wandering around for an extra minute did so in a mostly polite way.(I did notice the deadpan looks on some of the workers faces that came out to change or refill items in the salad bar. Even though it looked like they hated life, that seemed to b their only function so I’m sure the causal diner wouldn’t even bat them an eye). Honestly, I feel Jason’s Deli has some healthy option food here that looks and tastes good. I would return; and hey, maybe one of these days I’ll run into Jason.(The Bourne Identity music starts playing. :I I guess that’s better…)
