Islanders Luau

Had a catering for a pig roast only, merill the owner had helped with me to get my delievery tooken care of. I wanna thank him for keeping track of my schedualed date and time for delievery, he checked up a couple times to confirm which i appricate because he gave me a peace of mind he wont delay. Pig Roast was amazing, everyone loved it. I will use you again in the future. — Rebeca

This review is based on an event I attended that was catered by Islanders Luau.
The luau began with the sounding of the conch. Next came the pig hoisted on the shoulders of two guys. Yes! a WHOLE pig… Very impressive.
Our Hawaiian buffet included mac salad, choice of white or fried rice, crisp stir fried veggies, teriyaki chicken, kalbi (Korean short ribs), Kalua pork. And… assorted fruit. Plenty of food for seconds and thirds. However, I was a little disappointed that there was only one bowl of Chinese Chicken salad (?). I managed to sneak a taste from hubby’s plate. It was delish! I think the highlight for the kids… was definitely the shaved ice stand. (Snow cones… Hawaiian style) Added a genuine touch of aloha to the event.
The entertainment took us on a tour of Tahiti, Samoa, New Zealand and Hawaii. I especially enjoyed the fire knife demonstration.
Overall, I was very impressed with the food, entertainment and service. I would definitely consider them if I were planning a luau themed event. Two thumbs up!

Maril and his team were amazing! We booked Islanders Luau for my Dad’s 50^th birthday party and guests were raving about how great all the entertainment was. We had a lei greeter, the pig ceremony, Hawaiian show, and a fire show. They handled everything including the food, flower centerpieces, tiki torches, and DJ services. Everything turned out wonderful and I would highly recommend Maril and his team.

We booked Maril and his team for a surprise 50^th birthday party in Long Beach. It was a resounding success. The 100+ guests thoroughly enjoyed the performance and we were surprised at how many of them volunteered during the show. As the event coordinator, I worked with Maril to meet the hotel’s terms and conditions. They were great in getting us the information we needed and meeting the specs of the hotel and local authorities (fire department). The show was excellent and very entertaining. Wished we could have used them for the catering too, but the hotel did not accept outside catering.

OMG, if you want to throw an amazing luau and guarantee a fabulous time, then look no further than Islanders Luau!!! We just used them for our party this past Saturday night and they did a FANTASTIC job. The accolades that we have been (and still are) receiving from our guests are out of this world. Everything they did from the gorgeous floral arrangements to the island props to the hula girls and fire dancer were sensational. Maril and his team are the best of the best, I will use them again and again and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Islanders Luau catered and provided entertainment at a charity event for our organization and it was an absolute success! The onsite grill with the authentic Hawaiian decorations transported our patio area to the Hawaiian Islands. The entertainment show was top notch. It included several traditional dances from around the world and also included some audience participation (extremely funny). It created the perfect fun environment and was a very memorable event. Maril is incredibly professional and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is very organized and has a large variety of luau options (food, decorations, entertainment, etc); so you can easily customize your event. We have received countless positive feedback from the event and I would recommend Islander Luau for any occasion!

We just had Islanders Luau cater our son’s rehearsal dinner at the Lido Isle Yacht Club! Maril was organized, wonderful to work with prior to the event and also during the dinner. The food was delicious, beautifully displayed, and the outdoor luau was very festive. We gave each person a lei (not real!) and I had Islanders do some floral arrangements, and they too were creative and fairly priced! I would definitely use and recommend Islanders Luau. Very dependable, which is reassuring when you are having an important event. They have asked for the price range, and I would say they were fairly priced. Not high, not low, but just right!

As an Island Girl myself, I have to say they served some ONO food! Great staff and a great Polynesian Show… they were a wonderful addition to our luau picnic! We had over 500 people in attendance and everyone walked away full and happy! I will definitely use them again!!!
