The worst GameStop I’ve ever been to. An employee by the name of «Dee» was very unprofessional, rude and argumentative. He should be reprimanded… Never giving any business to gamestop again.

Makes my husband happy but I think it’s too small and way overpriced. They tend to get a lot of business tho. Maybe because it is in the mall. I’ve never seen more then 2 customer service reps in spite of the typical long line just to ask a question. I give 5 stars because my husband is a gaming addict and can sit for hours here just shooting the preverbial dooky.

The worst customer service ever. Rick was horrible. We came in to trade in some games and controllers and he was totally bothered by us being there and was unwilling to help us. We went over to the Norco store to do our trade, we won’t be back to this location.

Just went to go purchase Star Wars battlefront not knowing what the game was about or read anything about it, I’m just a Star Wars fan, I wanted more information about the game she would not let me touch the game she held onto it like I was going to steal it. the lady stereotyped me because I was dirty and just got off work but little does the nine dollar an hour employee know I make over 100 grand a year would not let me hold the game so I took it out of her hand read the back of the game then purchase the game. Lol!!!

Do not go to this gamestop! Go to the one at the plaza. The manager here is probably the worst I’ve ever seen in customer service. I brought in my old xbox360 to trade it in to get the new xbox one. But when I brought it in it was like I had asked him to do his job! He started by telling me it wasn’t worth much! I’d say trying to put me off trading it in and letting him to go back to doing nothing. But I didn’t mind I knew it wasn’t worth much. He gave me a look like I was his worst enemy. He looked through my accessories and the ones they didn’t take like the headphone speaker he literally threw back at me with a smug look. At this time I had made my mind up I wasn’t going to take the deal because of his attitude, but I let him continue anyway. At the end after he totally low balled me, I told him not a chance with your attitude I’d rather throw it in the trash! In the end I went the the gamestop at the riverside plaza and got a friendly reception and 15 dollars more than what that clown offered.

This review is based on the quality of the store, the staff, and services provided. The employees are all willing to spend some time to talk about gaming with customers if the customer wants to and will leave you alone if thats what you want. The store is generally clean unless you walk in right after a rush of people who left it destroyed. The store is a bit on the small side and as a result doesn’t have an enormous inventory compared to larger Gamestop locations. In terms of selling games to the store, take advantage of timed sales and promotions. Don’t expect to get too much for a game that is in high supply and low demand. They are a business at the end of the day and only one option to consider for selling games. I have received as much as $ 45 in store credit per game. Just time when you sell and be aware of other options. Very basic consumer practices.

Yesterday we stopped into this GameStop to trade in some Wii games we never use, for something new. I have never been to a store like this, so I have no basis for comparison. However, I found the store to be clean and well organized, and we received excellent customer service. We didn’t get much credit for our trade-in, but it was enough to get what we wanted with a bit left over. I guess that’s how they make their money… makes sense. Interesting.

I’ve been shopping at Game Stop for years, but after the last experience I had there, I’ll never shop there again. I accidentally tripped on my son’s headset for his ps3one day, and broke it. I decided to run down to Game Stop, and get him a new, rechargeable, wireless one to replace it. I bought one from MadCatz for $ 30, which I thought was reasonable. I took it home, followed all the instructions, and after after a day of trying, could not get the thing to take a charge. I took it back to Game Stop, and they exchanged it for another one. Fine, I got a faulty one, and they took care of it, right? Wrong… I took the other one home, and after another day of trying, it also would not charge. I ran down to Walmart, bought one for $ 20, and it immediately worked fine with no problems. I took the second defective one back, wit the receipt, to Game Stop, and found out that they won’t refund for open items, under ANY circumstances. If I had purchased it at either Walmart, or Best Buy, I would have been refunded, no questions asked. Although I can’t fault the employees for Game Stop’s terrible policy, I can fault them for their attitude. The lady that helped me treated me like I was an inconvenience, NEVER apologized for the trouble I had to go through, or for the fact I received faulty merchandise. In fact, when I declined her offer to exchange it for yet another(probably faulty) headset, she acted like she was doing me a big favor giving me store credit, and said she wouldn’t do it next time. She needn’t have worried about there being a next time. Most stores will only do exchanges for opened SOFTWARE, but I’ve never had one tell me I couldn’t return hardware that was bad. If you’re buying hardware, shop elsewhere.

I am a loyal customer at this Gamestop. I’ve bought all my systems, games and accessories at this location since it was Funcoland, way back when… Most of the staff has been there for quite a while, and they are helpful and friendly. I’ve witnessed people trying to sell stolen goods back to the store, and the manager handled it in a professional, non-confrontational way, and there was no conflict. I lost the recipt to my PS3, and when I needed to send it to Sony as proof of purchase, I called up my neighborhood Gamestop, and even though they couldn’t re-print my reciept, the manager gave me the corporate number. When I called corporate, it took me no time to get to a live person, who helped me out with no problem and even emailed my POP to Sony for me. I love this Gamestop so much, I’m applying for a seasonal job there just becasue it seems like a fun place to spend some time. And who doesn’t need extra money, right? So for your gaming needs, please. Refrain from going to Best Buy, or Toys R Us… For expert advice and opinions, guaranteed prices and release dates, why would you go anywhere else but GAMEstop?
