In 2010, we released a CD entitled «One Man Circus» for which we needed a liner notes headshot. We commissioned a pro in L.A. to take a few rolls, but none of the pics were satisfactory, nor did they capture the elusive «essence of the artist» that we all seek in our publicity shots. Feeling hopeless, we happened to be going through previous randomly shot pics that Ricky D. had taken of me just as a lark, and wouldn’t you know, there among them was THE perfect example. We knew immediately that his was the one. We have also used Rick’s work as accompanying art for articles, and social media profiles, proudly assigning credit to the photographer. Thank you Rick… you are indeed a rare talent!
