My fiancée and I enjoy this place. And these are definitely safe for anyone that needs to eat gluten free. Don’t forget to try the ensalada, an iced fruit beverage. Food is always made to order and owner is very kind. Best local spot!!!

Food is good, prices are reasonable but their costumer service could be better. I walked to the register to place my order, the cashier was giving me her back while she chatted it up with the other people working… They saw me there but continued with their conversation and once they finished she turned around and asked how she could help me. Didn’t apologize for making me wait. But either way their pupusas and platanos dorados were really good. Their salvadorian quesadilla not so much. But overall I would go back.

Terrible service! Food is OK. Even though the food was good, I was treated so badly I would never go back.

This place is kind of a hole in the wall. The dining area is big and the people there are very nice. I must say the food is great, they are a pupuseria however the other food I tried was awesome. We bought about 12 pupusas along with a asada torta. The torta was delicious tasted very authentic. Pupusas were also delicious we tried one of each kind. Definitely a place worth checking out if in the area.

Great food and different than your average Mexican fare. This has a Salvador twist to it. Great service and the food is tasty. I will be back to try other items. I had chili rellenos which were loaded with cheese. Joanie had tamales which were wrapped in banana leaves.

Horrible service, very unorganized, and cheap. I asked for more salsa and they told me that I had some already. I had a to go order and they opened my coca cola bottle and when I told them I wanted it to go they covered it with aluminum foil instead of getting me a new one.

8÷10÷2013 Had the pleasure of meeting Doña Ana during our visit for dinner today. I have to agree with the previous reviewer: the location may not be Eastvale, but do not knock the location. What most would consider a dive, this place is great. They have done a wonderful job of ensuring the restaurant itself is clean and well kept. The parking is small up front but they do have parking around the back of the building. Once inside, the interior is bright, clean and has plenty of tables for seating. The kitchen is visible from the front and looked clean as well. As we were talking with Doña Ana we asked about how she cooked and she mentioned how she dislikes lard or «manteca» because it clogs the arteries — already a bonus in our books! We placed an order for fried yucca, and then three types of pupusas: cheese, cheese and bean, and cheese and chicken. We also added an order of fried plantains with salvadorean crema, and sweet plantain empanadas. All in all it was a good and pleasant experience. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. The food did not take a long time to come to the table. It was all prepared as asked. The slaw that came with the fried yucca was delicious and fresh — prepared after our order was taken. The pupusas were a proper ratio of masa to filling. They were not greasy or oily. The curtido was very well seasoned and prepared as well. Well done! Our only disappointment was the empanadas. They were a little more dry than we are used to on the plantain and the filling of the«leche poliada» was a bit dry as well. We did make a choice that this will be a pupuseria that we will be returning to! Thank you Doña Ana!

I’m a food connoisseur and very picky… I honestly gotta say their pupusas are amazing! They are very filled, not all corn masa like other places, they aren’t greasy and the curtido«dressing» is on point. Place is clean, very home style like, and staff is authentic salvadoreans. Parking is a little small and so is the restaurant interior and the area is a little ghetto, but overall I give it a 9.2÷10
