I received a recommendation from a friend to head to Colorsmith for a window I was looking to get repaired that was in my stairwell that used to shed the most beautiful light across the living room. I couldn’t find anyone who was willing to work with the price point I had in mind until I went to Colorsmith. Not only did Colorsmith give me a price that I was comfortable with but the window looks as good as new if not better since it was all cleaned up as well. I would definitely pay it forward as my friend did and send other to Colorsmith.

David Condon of Colorsmith Stained Glass Studio is a gifted artist and consummate professional with impeccable attention to detail. There is no one else I would trust with the 100+ year old leaded art glass windows in my Frank Lloyd Wright home. Over the years, I have sent 8 windows in to the Studio for complete restoration and have also had David out to the house for minor repairs to other windows. The work is consistently excellent. With respect to custom work, we also commissioned three paneled ceiling lay lights for two different rooms from Colormith — with hopes that the effect of the new art glass would be consistent with the historic fabric of the rest of our home. As part of the consultation, David brought numerous glass samples out to the house to ensure that the colors would work with our lighting. I am pleased to report that when the final product was delivered and installed we were not disappointed; they are beautiful and they look like they belong here. I highly recommend Colorsmith for all of your art glass needs. They are knowledgeable, talented, thoughtful and honest, with a wealth of experience. We are lucky to have them in our own backyard!

I love this place. I originally went to this store to get a stained framed stain glass window in my kitchen. The staff was very helpful and nice. The picture was stunning. While this was many years ago, we still have it hanging in our kitchen. We have since done some work on the home and had Colorsmith install three more larger stained glass windows. We were able to customize them ourselves. Theses windows are the first thing people ask about when they visit our home. I could not be more happy with the customer service, expertise, and the final amazing product. I look forward to working with Colorsmith again in the future and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to add some beautiful artwork to their home.

We stopped by Colorsmith, interested in a couple of pieces for our home. There were at least four or five people working on various projects. They turned, stared at us, and continued to stare at us. My husband said«Hello,» and one of them grudgingly responded with a disdainful, «Hi.» Awkward silence ensued. Ok… Meanwhile, a tall young woman with curly red hair continued to stare, as if we’d broken into her private studio and she was aghast at our temerity in invading her personal space. No one asked what we wanted, and Curly Red only grudgingly answered my husband when he asked if it was ok to look around.(«Um…it is. Sure.» she said, with a chill and without a smile.) I’ve never felt more unwelcome anywhere. I assumed Colorsmith was a business(reaffirmed by their website) – where anyone who had interest enough to walk in was greeted with warmth and grace, if for no other reason(such as fundamental civility) than the understanding that potential clients can become actual clients. Yet, the friendliest one was the cockatiel. Couldn’t wait to leave and won’t be back. I’m sure they don’t care.
