I like their wide selection for gel colors. But their gel mani did not last long. After a week my color was already chipping off so I probably won’t return.

I’ve only used Unilocal!for positive reviews but this place is horrible. I came here because I saw it was 4 Stars and the prices seem reasonable. When I first walked in the lady by the door didn’t even greet me, but YELL to ask if I had appointment. I said I didn’t and she asked what I wanted, I told her a full set only. I’ve never had fake nails and I wanted to try, the pictures looked good on the Unilocal!page. The lady who greeted me yelled over at me again as I was sitting and waiting «YOU WANT PEDICURE?» I said no thank you. THEN she said, «NO WE DO PEDICURE FOR YOU WITH NAILS» and I was like… Okay. The lady who did my pedi was great, very gentle and nice. The lady who did my mani… Whole different story which is why I’m writing this review. She started my mani and while she was using the thing to sand down my nail, she kept getting my finger caught on it!! Then she said «$ 5 cuticle treatment» and I said no thank you. But she insisted! And since I never had fake nails I thought maybe I needed it. NOPE NEVER AGAIN! I was bleeding all over! It was so painful! She kept pouring cuticle stuff on my cuts and it burned! I honestly wanted her to stop but she kept trying to clean up the bloody mess she made! She was not gentle at all and I’m a small person and I’ve never had anyone be so rough with me. She was hurting me!!! Then when I had to sit down for her to do my nails she was such a… I’m sorry she was horrible! She kept forcing my arm down and she was pulling my hands and throwing fingers around! THEN my nails weren’t drying properly and she has the nerve to yell at me and say she had to do four coats and not two! Isn’t that your job to make sure it’s done right!!! My cuticles were bleeding horribly and they still charged me $ 5. The lady was so rough she hurt me! $ 61 of crap. Disputing the charges. Sure come here, it’s cheap and (kinda) clean but do not get stuck with an older lady with glasses and her cart says «Chi» something else with a M. Bad experience. Not worth the try.

Customer service was welcoming and the establishment was nice unlike a lot of crummy nail salons. The technician did a good job too. I’d go back.

Best nail salon I’ve been to in Riverside! They are very attentive, clean, and friendly! They did a great job on my nails! My friend got her eye brows done and they look great. I’m going to grow mine out to have them done next time! This is the only nail salon I will consider going to in riverside

The owners are rude. Every time I’ve made an appointment they never take my name and just hang up on me. When I show up they always look surprised when I tell them I have an appointment. The nail technicians are nice it just really depends k. Who you get.

I’ve never had to wait, prices are super reasonable, and the quality is good. The nail techs are also very personable and know what they’re doing.

Pauline and Larry were perfect for my grandma and I! She got a simple manicure and I got a new set with gel. I’m so pleased with the service will definitely be here next time!

I absolutely love Pauline. Every time she does my nails they are perfect. She runs the place, so sometimes she is very busy, but she is definitely worth the wait.

First time getting a pedicure. Came because my mom, cousin, and girlfriend invited me and said foot massage. So I said why not.
Diane is the homie! Very nice, very gentle, applied good pressure. I got the deluxe pedicure $ 35. My first timers opinion is Diane did an amazing job. Let’s be real, the stigma that the cosmetologist talk sh*t while you’re getting your stuff done is pretty popular. That being said talking was at a minimum between them.
The only thing I could say it’s a bit expensive. Given the location and service, if you’re all about this stuff, it’s worth the money.
For myself, it might be a once or twice a year kinda thing.

Pauline did a wonderful job on my nails. They are exactly what I asked for. She has been doing nails for over 20 years. She loves to make you pretty. I got in right away too. No waiting

First time here and will most likely be back! I made an appointment the same day (I called at 10:50 am) for 11:15 appointment, I got there at 11:10 and was seated at 11:18 :D
They were pretty busy but had at least 7 people working so that was great.
Full set acrylics were only $ 25 and a design would make it $ 5 more

Cindy did such a wonderful job on my nails! She listened when I asked to be careful with the drill and she listens about the size I wanted and shape so my nails look natural and fit my nail bed. I’m most definitely making this my go to nail salon and cindy my go to nail tech!
4 stars because one thumb nail doesn’t have color all the way down, it’s not noticeable, only if you look close.
I’m so excited to come back and have her do my nails again and also try a pedicure as well!

Of course I turned to Unilocal to help me find a new nail salon in the area. I tried this one out because it was convenient and ⁴⁄₅ stars wasn’t bad. They’re you’re typical nail salon. If you’re new, they don’t treat you as well as the regulars. I had an appointment for a mani/​pedi yet they took a walk in group of 4 right after I came in so I had to wait for a bit. My pedi was great but I can’t say the same of my mani. She rushed through the job, cut me a few times and was overall unfriendly. I’m a great tipper so it was satisfying to see the look on her face when I gave the guy who did my toes a great tip and her a mediocre one. I think my search for a new nail salon will continue.

Came in the first week of December in a 2 hour break in between class and work. I asked for a gel manicure on my natural nails which would take about an hour at other salons I’ve been to. The manicure started off fine, I asked for white with glitter polish over. As she started putting on the glitter polish she began to take a very long time to put on the polish.
About 2 coats of glitter in, another nail technician came by and noticed that she was using regular nail polish and not gel polish. Nobody ever mentioned it to me or apologized, she just changed bottles and kept going.
Now if you know a little bit about gel nail polish, you know that it cures under a UV lamp anywhere from a minute to 2 minutes. Regular nail polish can take up to 24 hours to completely dry. This is why you shouldn’t mix the two because the nail polish will never completely dry under a layer of gel polish, as well as introduce bubbles underneath the gel polish which introduces premature peeling.
2 hours later, I am late to work with wrecked cuticles (over filed) and bumpy nails – and gel should NOT be bumpy.

Was helped by what seemed like the manager, tried talking to her throughout with minimal to no response each time. Left absolutely horrified knowing I mentioned the particulars I needed having this set put on, as I have some important festivities to take care of within this next week.
I mentioned my beds are short so the nail had to be on the tip, she didn’t listen or help with that AT ALL. Every nail is crooked, it took over and hour to put on a white tip with clear over, and she wasn’t only a technician but apparently a receptionist and cashier as well.
Not to mention every costumer that came in she responded «yes» and knowingly sat them with no other technicians available.
I’m not one to complain but this experience was the worst I’ve ever dealt with.

I came here with my mom on Friday. It had been about 3 months since my last manicure and pedicure, so I was in desperate need!
My mom and I did not have an appointment – we just walked in. My first impressions when walking into the salon was that it appeared clean and big. My mom and I were immediately greeted which was nice. We picked out our colors and waited for about 5 minutes. They were able to seat us together while we had our pedicures and gel manicures done.
My mom and I both decided to treat ourselves to the «Royal Pedicure» which was about $ 45 each. We both got gel manicures and we both added the salt scrub (for an extra $ 5 each), bringing our total to about $ 160 not including tip.
Both women who did my pedicure and gel manicure were good. If you get a pedicure and manicure, they do them at the same time. I really liked the massage chairs that they had because unlike other places, the bottom part of the chair where you are sitting massages your butt! haha The salon was nice and clean. They used the inserts that go into the tubs. Everyone was pretty friendly and we were pleased with how our nails turned out. Although, my mom did say that the nail polish on her toenails was sort of coming off on two toes after just two days. It looks like they did my gel manicure pretty thick, so I’m slightly worried about that, but nothing has come off yet and it has been three days, so we’ll see!
All in all, I would recommend this salon and I will likely be back.
