Armando’s Mexican Food

I frequent this place often because I go to school down the street. My favorite thing to get here is the shrimp burrito, but the food and portion size is a hit or miss. There are days when I get well seasoned food and others when I get bland food. The portion sizes fluctuate too. The salsa verde is really good! The place is clean and has good service. The price is on the cheaper side and the portion is just average, on most days. Due to convenience in location, I always end up returning.

I’ve been craving a wet burrito for a while and have not been able to find a good one … But guess what? I found one at Armando’s. The burrito had tons of meat and the sauce was just right. The Jamaica was perfect not to sweet and not to bitter. The icing on the cake was they had great service. I will definitely return

I really like the place and the people are great but it is disappointing to walk in on Sunday morning at 11 am and they are out of Menudo. Especially when you walked there in the rain. Put a damper on Sunday morning.

This is my favorite stop for good quality food without paying big bucks! This its my go to place!

This place is really good! They have fast service the food comes out so fast compared to other Mexican food restaurant and it tastes delicious.
Will definitely be coming back. And also big plus it is not very expensive.

When this restaurant opened the portions were big, the meats were juicy and flavorful. Went there today and the portion size was cut in half, the carne asada in my burrito tasted completely dried out no flavor at all. Pathetic! I’ll never go again, stay clear of this shit-​hole!

Not authentic Mexican food at all, but the food isn’t terrible. It is definitely over priced. I could’ve had way better food for a $ 10 plate here. They also messed up my order and when I brought it up the lady said I was wrong, and when I explained myself further, she just gave me part of the money I was over charged. First and last time coming here

Food was great the first time. Second time around my hard shell taco was dry and had very little meat. A friend had gotten taquitos and the meat was really dry too… Service was good though.

Went there yesterday for lunch and got everything to go. I had the hardshell Asada tacos and wifey got the wet bean and cheese burrito. Beans and rice with my tacos. Everything was really good. It’s hard to find good mexican food in my area. Close to home and good food and decent prices. Going to go try the menudo today. I heard it’s very good. Go try it!

Average eats, la Ribera off of Tyler is better, and out of the 3x I went their they always got my order wrong

Man I have had several of their foods, and everything is beyond good and yummy! But the bean and cheese burritos are AMAZING!!! I am hooked!!! They are good at any time of day! Hot or cold! AMAZING!!! I highly reccomend this place.

They just opened in our neighborhood a few weeks ago and we went there for breakfast. And it was really good! I had the machaca breakfast burrito and hubby had the sausage, egg and cheese. Both were perfect. Also the pineapple punch is sooo good! Place was clean and nice location with outside seating. We will definitely be back.

Customer service is A-​1. Its a clean, small joint. Clean, single stall bathrooms. Bright menu. I ordered the carne asada nachos here and really enjoyed it. Most places skimp on the quality of the carne when piling it atop chips, but here I was impressed by the texture and taste. It was a huge order. The salsa bar is awesome and quite spicy.

This place is great! It was very clean inside and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The vegetarian options were limited (typical). But the made me a vegetarian breakfast burrito smothered in green sauce. Yummy! Everything was good well and potatoes were not dried out (even at dinner time)…and the green sauce had a good kick to it! Will be back!

Just like the one in Moreno Valley.
Never had a order I didn’t enjoy.
Would recccomend over chillitos down street.

Carne asada fries were really yummy great taste avocado was great me and my office gave this place a second try :) they have definitely received better reviews in the last couple of days keep it up Armandos!

I’m sure this place will be that go-​to spot for the local college students attending La Sierra and a great option for those staying at the hotel. I’m actually surprised that a Mexican restaurant hadn’t already opened here before! Seems like a no brainer, right?
There were many of the standard breakfast offerings, so naturally I ordered carne asada tacos right?
Prices are adjusted higher than standard, but to compensate there was a lot of meat in both my tacos, and they were generously loaded with very fresh guacamole! The pico de gallo was diced small but surprisingly turgid which tells me that it was cut a minute before it was served.
I also appreciated the sense of reservation with the quantity of rice and beans and garnish!
The only reason I didn’t rate this 5 stars is because:
1) Though the meat was seasoned well it was a tiny bit salty for my taste (not off-​putting, I totally devoured it!)
2) The salsa bar hadn’t been stocked yet, and even if no one needs a ton of salsa first thing, the salsa bar also serves as eye candy and inspires appetite.
3) *You’ll never hear me repeat this again, but the fans were on too high. After the food was served, they flipped a switch in the back and the napkins on the table went flying. I had to catch them and shove them in my pocket LOL
Otherwise, I enjoyed my visit. The staff was also courteous and mindful.
I definitely recommend trying them out. I’ll be back to try out their Chilaquiles, probably a more appropriate dish for breakfast

Just tried Armandos, it opened not too long ago and is close by here in La Sierra. I highly recommend it. The food was fresh and delicious. We tried the Carne Asada Fries, and Chorizo Con Huevos, they were both spot on. Give it a try.

loved the shrimp burrito… soooooo yummy!!! Now I do not have to drive to Moreno Valley to get a shrimp burrito. It’s right across the street PERFECT!
