I play the Woods at Cherry Creek often. I enjoy the course and its in good shape. It has not rained in In last 4 weeks and the are doing a great job keeping it in good playing condition. it is narrow but very enjoyable.

Despite my previous –5 Star experience at this POS track, I came back on Sunday. What a gorgeous day for golf. But the Woods killed any joy I might have brought. Each green was worse than the prior. The surface was chewed up by scuffs and cleat marks. The hole cuts looked like a three year old child’s scissor work gone bad. The bunkers were filled with stones. The tee boxes were dug up like an excavation zone. The tee markers were knocked over. What the heck was that ranger doing out there all day? The only reason I gave the dump 2 stars is the 19th hole add a decent drink for the money. Other than that, it stinks. If you are a golfer, skip the Woods. You have been warned.

Great course best value on Long Island. A great track wholly underrated. Has two fantastic tough par 4(12) and 5(18) as good as you will find. Great shape and $ 67 on weekend with cart is the bomb. Opportunity and peril abound. Lush and well groomed. Tee times are easy to come by for the most part. The course is tight and the beginning golfer will struggle.

One of two recently built private courses and a very tough challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The course is very tight with many trees in play and has enough length the challenge big hitters with a couple long par 4’s and long, narrow par 5’s. There are some short holes where you can score though. Despite serious damage from Hurricane Sandy, even 5 yards astray of the narrow fairways can leave you in the trees, blocked out for a one stroke penalty. Simply put, if you’re not accurate, off the tee, you will not score, leading to many difficult risk/reward choices. Though private, it’s pretty easy to get a tee time at this course. It’s very well-kept with friendly staff and a good deal overall. The other course across the street claims to be links style, but really means that it’s more wide-open. It’s a bit tougher to get a tee time over there.
