This place is delicious! Been eating here since it opened and I’ve never been disappointed. Nothing fancy at all just a little«taco» spot. There is maybe room for 10 people inside but then they have outdoor seating. Great for lunch or a quick dinner, no frills but consistently delicious food.

We all enjoyed our food, nice folks serving, but tiny paper serving plates tough to eat on. Negro Modela in stock so all good!

I would have liked to give a better review based that I was told to visit here but I left agitated. Walked up and was the only one in line and didn’t get service for about 5 minutes. Ordered some food and had a modification of no lettuce. I like lettuce just fine but not on other foods. I’m weird but that’s not the point. So I got my food and of course it has lettuce. They quickly returned it with the lettuce scrapped off… Good thing there is a great ice cream place next door… Jalapeño poppers were okay.

Order anything on the menu, it’s a home run. The corona shrimp tacos are delicious. Every time we go, the quality of the food is always prefect. One bite and you’ll be hooked.

My favorite Mexican spot around. Food is fantastic, staff is friendly and accomodating. If you’re out on the east end, definitely stop in.

This place is certainly unique! When you pull up it looks really good, like a neat little off the side of the road type joint. They have it painted eye catching purple, green & orange. Outside seating at tables and a bar style seating along the perimeter. Inside is super tiny with about 2 tables and some more bar style seating. They offer a good selection of drinks and that includes some bottled booze! The food is good, sometimes it can be a little too greasy and fall apart really easily but it tastes authentic and I love the churros! It’s cool that it’s such a small joint but I would really recommend for them to open it up just a little bit. Also, it can pricey real fast!

Amazing food! Definitely a hole in the wall type place but it’s a gem. Everyone we’ve had from the menu tastes homemade and fresh. I love the fish taco and my husbands always goes for their beef tacos. We like outdoor seating in the warmer weather. There is always a line of people coming in for take out. Highly recommend.

I really love funchos! 6 tacos will be just under $ 20… if you opt for a couple specialty tacos in there, it’ll be a bit over the 20 bux Either way, when ordering for two that’ll fill you both up quite well, so the prices are on point for amazing, delicious tacos. I’d tell you my favorites but it’d be a shorter list to tell you what I wasn’t a fan of… I’m… Well I haven’t had anything that wasn’t great so far, I’ve tried all the basic tacos and have not a single complaint, I love the chili & ground beef. Always get a special shrimp(east end I believe it’s called). Has a real kick and the shrimp have a great crunch in the soft shell, fantastic. I’ve been going here since what feels like the beginning of time and just can’t say I’ve ever been let down really. Brought my girlfriend by for the first time recently and she can’t wait to go back. Me either, never can.

Tried this place when on our way out east, because a long while back a friend had said it was good. The place is cute, mostly a take out joint with some tables outside. The staff was friendly and the food was prepared quickly. However, the food wasn’t especially good or inventive. My friend ordered a salad with steak, which also came with pico, corn, black beans and guacamole. I tried his steak and agreed that the flavor was not very good and the texture was dry. I ordered a buried burrito with chicken. This came with yellow rice and black beans with cheese, sour cream, and enchilada sauce on top. The rice and beans were pretty tasteless, the chicken was very dry, and the enchilada sauce was very watery. We also split some chips and guacamole. The guacamole was really boring, no garlic, no onions, no jalapeño; just lime juice and cilantro. This was one of the more expensive items on the menu, so we were pretty disappointed. Overall not somewhere we would choose to return.

Apparently you people are hard to please. Funchos is THEABSOLUTEBEST Mexican we have out on the north fork. If you want something fan-freakin-tastic that’s also a good bang for your buck, get a taco salad in a tostada shell. First off, any food with an edible bowl is #1 in my book. Secondly, it’s basically the same ingredients as a regular taco but you get GUAC and 10MILLIONTIMESMOREFOODS. Dude. For Reals. It’s not Funcho’s fault you don’t know how to order. Keep your crabby reviews to yourself and stay away from my beautiful funchos. Funchos. u gr8. don change. luv u vv much.

I used to think Funchos was the best Mexican spot, but after traveling to Mexico City and the West Coast. I’ve gotten much better tacos from roadside trucks that are fresher tasting and more creative with their ingredients. Funchos needs to step it up a little and do more than just put salsa verde on every taco. They’re also overpriced. Taco’s here are nearly $ 5 whereas Taco Bell is still charging $.89 Granted, much worse quality but at least you can get 5 of them.

I’m baaaaaack. Much better during the summer when you can sit outside. Fish tacos were clearly from frozen patties and were very disappointing.

We came to funchos on a whim because we didn’t have a specific craving for anything in particular. When we got here we didn’t realize it was mostly a take out place, which worked out great considering we were in a mood to go back to our hotel and veg out. We got the cactus crunch nachos with black beans, soft beef taco, steak enchiladas, and a mad dog burrito. All in all the food was decent and it made do for take out.

First time here so its going to be short. With all the trips I’ve made to snowflake next door, I have no idea why I’ve never stopped by here. Wish I hadn’t waited so long. Quick trip in and out. You can see in the pics, its more of a shack with some outside seating then a restaurant and that’s so awesome. Grabbed the big daddy manzo burrito, and this thing was loaded. Steak, chicken, chili meat and all that burrito goodness. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. Will update the review once that happens. In the mean time if your in the area, give this place a shot and you will not be disappointed.

I’m gonna start with the pros, The Guac, Salsa and Homemade chips are really really good. It was such a nice day on this October Saturday so my wife and I decided to sit outside with a bottle of Negra Modelo and eat tacos. I said tacos baby! We both ordered the same tacos, one steak and one baja taco. The steak taco to me had a grab and the fish taco. Hmmm… We live on Long Island. It’s a Long Island surrounded by water. I want a damn fresh fish in my taco. is that too much to ask? Soryy, its a pet peeve. I want to find somewhere on Long Island where they have fresh fish from Long Island. The Baja Tacos here are deep fried and had a «Trust the Gorton’s Fishermen» taste… Funchos Fajita Grill is a locally owned business, if you like Tacos from a roadside taco shop, Funchos Fajita Grill is a great place to shop after shopping

This place looks like a California taco shop, so much so that I ordered the«west coast fish taco»($ 4.95 each). I have a hard time believing the creator of this taco shop has ever seen or eaten a west coast fish taco, because their version was anything but… flavorless, boring, and overpriced. My kids split a vegetarian burrito, which was a nice hefty size but lacked quality flavor. Their salsa looked amazing, but tasted like canned tomatoes. Décor and presentation get an A, but the quality, flavor, and prices give them an overall D.

I am going to give this baby 5 stars because I had an awesome lunch pulled into this little place about 10 seater inside and 4 tables out side friendly guy asks how he can help us I will be honest there was a bit of a turn off seeing his heavily bandaged hand but I assume he is not touching the food very satisfying taco salad in a big shell lovely guacamole generous portion black olives cheese corn lettuce sour cream son had 3 beef crunchy tacos stuffed with filling he could barely finish the usual choices of soda including what I call REAL coke coke with sugar not high fructose stuff nice to sit outside and enjoy your meal

The best fast Tex/Mex in the Hampton’s. Two places here and Westhampton, they are always good. Hard tacos, soft shell steak tacos, etc. Their prices are outrageously low for tacos, which is what they do best. Flavor is there — they creatively use plum tomatos. it’s hard to resist this place when you must have something fast. Haven’t even gotten to the burritos which I see are good… People have always been extra friendly.
