Sheridan Street Community Garden

This is one swanky ass community garden. This place is nice compared to the plot I have at a different community garden. They provide water, tools, mulch, compost. All in a nice fenced in garden area so no one will steal the veggies that you’ve grown. They’ve also recently upgraded the land, building a new terrace structure that enabled more garden plots to be created. There are beautiful brick walkways leading to these new plots.
I spent a day at a work day moving wood chips and helping do prep work around the garden. The community members are wonderful people. And they had a nice cookout at the end of the work day where we all gathered round and had a meal. If I lived closer to this garden I’d definitely want a plot here.
