Took my family there for dinner and we ordered 6 entrees. All of them were beyond my expectation. If you’re looking for authentic Asian food, this is the best place in Riverdale.

I’m not a snob when it comes to a place looking fancy or having the most attentive service ever. The food here is not good. Eat here if spoiled tofu fills you with joy.

Fabulous food — wonderful décor — helpful staff. Always a pleasure. I usually go with my mom who’s quite elderly and getting her in and out is always a big deal because her mobility is limited. They’re always patient and understanding. And the food is just so good!

My absolute favorite Asian Fusion restaurant! If you like Thai Food or Chinese Food, you must try this place. Hot and Sour soup is amazing with crispy fresh vegetables. My favorite dish is the Basil beef but also had Fried rice. No added sugar — just great flavor! You want it spicy, they will make it spicy. The quality is consistently excellent, the taste is always what you expect. No time to visit — order by phone or online! Guaranteed to get it fast and will love it!

Whatever you do do not order for delivery. I call them after an hour waiting and they told me that delivery with them is an hour and a half wait normally. After speaking with them they told me to wait an extra 28 minutes. So do not order. I’m still waiting for the food so I’ll let you know how that is once it arrives

I ordered delivery from this place through Unilocal. It was easy, 5 stars for Unilocal ordering system! My family and I hate ordering Chinese food because sometimes its super greasy and ugh. But I checked the reviews and thought«why not?». Ordered chicken and broccoli, pineapple shrimp fried rice, and shrimp roll. Pros: — Delivery was fast. — Food was not greasy. Chicken and broccoli was great! Cons: — shrimp was over cooked. That’s the reason for 4 stars.

Pros: (+) Service is nice (+) Everything tastes good (+) Quick service (+) Place is clean Cons: (-) Tables are rather tiny for seating a family of 7. (-) Not a fan of the thai ice tea, tasted a bit off (-) Seating is awkward ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This place is fairly new and thankfully replaced the old vietnamese restaurant Nam Thai. Everything is delicious! I’ve tried practically everything in the menu and I have been pretty happy with everything on the menu. The only thing that I am not crazy about is the Thai Ice tea, just because it has an artificial taste to it. Also the fried banana was just okay. It needs sugar to be a bit sweeter. Other than that… the place is delish. The seating and tables are a bit awkward. Since it’s more like Family Style, there is not enough table space to accommodate both the dishes itself and your own plate when eating in a large group. I come here usually with my family and there is 7 of us so the table situation is always crowded. It’s like playing Tetris with the amount of plates on the table to make everything fit.

I ordered the spicy string beans and the vegetable pot stickers. Best string beans I’ve ever had!

Quick delivery, great fried pork dumplings. The beef and chicken were kind of greasy, actually not good at all. I will not be ordering from them again. I ordered through Unilocal. It was effortless. I got to see the entire menu and choose each item. I also was able to edit my order as I was choosing. I didn’t have to use any credit card and paid cash to the delivery man. Too bad the food was pretty poor.

I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered from here so far. Consistently delicious, though I’m not normally a fan of fusion Asian cuisine and loathe Asian American food(Once you’ve had the real stuff in home countries, it’s to recognize McFried, goopy-sauced things as Asian food). Here, I love the thin, lean slices of lamb. One of the few places up here I love.

This place has the most awesome food. We had duck and glass noodles the last time we were there, also I had steamed mixed vegetables with shrimp. Whatever you order is wonderful. The décor has been updated recently.

This is like our kitchen. My husband and I both are good cooks, but on lazy days, this is our backup plan. We had many dishes here: Mongolian beef — spicy and flavorful beef dish with many peppers La sa ga soup — they treated the chicken so it is specially tender Peking duck — I mean, I never find any amazing ones in the city, so this is decent. Vietnamese spring roll — crispy and chewy Like I said, if you don’t know what to eat, you can alway find something here.

Our book club meets and eats here once a month. We have 12 members and every one has been happy with their meals. While they do not serve alcohol you are welcome to bring your own.

When you and your friends are arguing over Thai, Chinese or Sushi, just go to this great pan Asian restaurant where they seem to do everything very well. They make some of the best old school Chinese BBQ ribs I’ve ever had. Yesterday we tried one of their Thai soups with shrimp and rice noodles and coconut milk and it was outstanding. My partner and I were of two minds about the spring rolls – she liked them, I didn’t care for them, but I’ve enjoyed the vegetarian spring roll they do quite a bit. The service and atmosphere is great in this very nice addition to the Riverdale section of the Bronx.

Bo luc lac is the best. Delivery is super fast. Food is fresh and delicious. Spring roll is huge and I like their dipping sauce. Cons: phở is not good at all.

Pretty tasty little restaurant. ordered shrimp summer rolls which came with two dipping sauces — lots of rice noodle in these and minimal sprouts and mint which was a bit disappointing and will likely not order it again. However they were generous with the shrimp as the summer rolls came cut up into 6 large pieces with 2 pieces of shrimp in each AND they were freshly made and absorbed the tasty plum and hoisin sauce well. The true highlights of the meal were the entrees: saigon chicken and general tso’s chicken. The Saigon chicken was not as spicy as we would have liked it but it was cooked well and had a wonderful aroma! The general tso’s was lightly battered white meat chicken with a sweet, mildly spicy red sauce that was reminiscent of ketchup but tasty nonetheless. ultimately, I would order and come here again.

This is a favorite place of mine in my neighborhood. The soups are incredible, the Hot and Sour with wonton is my personal fav. Vegetables are always plentiful, cooked well, rustically chopped and delicious. Everyone there is friendly, and I even have a nick-name there now, «3sauce». Cause I alway request hoisin, red pepper and fish sauce.

Moon Star’s food is REALLY delicious! I seriously don’t think I’ve ever had Asian food this good above 96th Street. AWESOME! The best thing about the food is that is tastes incredibly fresh. The vegetables are very crisp and never overcooked/mushy. The sauces are extremely flavorful without being heavy and nasty-thick. Excellent consistency. The seasoning is great as well. Nothing is greasy. I like that the food seems to be healthy and clean and I feel pleasantly full after eating. Moon definitely gets two thumbs up. And they two more thumbs up for delivering fast. Love this!

Pros: The food is way better that your average local Asian/chinese spot! We ordered Sesame chicken, pineapple rice, spare ribs, and scallion pancakes. Everything was delicious. Fresh, non-greasy, and perfectly flavored. Cons: Delivery took over an hour, pricey(especially the pineapple rice– $ 10 for rice?!) No utensils or napkins in delivery bag. Probably will Order again though!

Ordered some classic Vietnamese dishes(the ca ri ga, Vietnamese fried rice, and bun xao) as well as the ma po tofu. Came within an hour, which is reasonable for the neighborhood. The Vietnamese options are really the standouts and we gobbled them down. While their ma po tofu does not pack the Sichuan pepper/garlic/chili oil-laden punch that it should, it is leagues ahead of the bland, overly starchy, and sometimes weirdly sweet excuses for ma po tofu that you’d get anywhere else in Riverdale. It’s still tasty and worth getting! As another reviewer mentioned, the area is a bit of culinary wasteland and restaurants tend to fall in the mediocre-to-bad range. It’s a blessing to have a truly decent Asian fusion option. Vietnamese seems to be what they do best here, but we’re looking forward to trying the other Chinese options as well. Please, please let this place do well! The only suggestion I would offer is to turn the heat up on the Sichuan dishes. We could use some TRULY spicy food around here!
