WTF?
A sackful of Krystal is $ 11.65?
I use to work for Krystal’s in the mid-80’s and while I agree that the cost of living has increased a lot in the last 25 years or so, why are we paying almost $ 12 for a bag of Krystals with no drink or fries?
I went to pick up some breakfast for someone and it was 10:33 according to the clock on my phone and I was told they were no longer serving breakfast. Breakfast ends at 10:30.
I called the person I was picking the food up for and they asked that I bring them a sackful. See this is why you don’t do favors for people. The meal went from almost $ 4 to almost $ 12 because of a 3 minute delay, which was spent in the drive thru waiting my turn.
When I got to the window, I told the lady just that, and she laughed and said to make sure I got my money back from the person I was picking up the food for. She had a pleasant attitude, so I didn’t complain further that the 3 minute delay was on her. Funny thing is, that although they were no longer serving breakfast, she had me pull up and told me that she would bring the sack out to my car. Why wouldn’t 10 Krystal’s be ready if that’s all you are serving at this time of the day?

Now I am not sure if the 3 previous negative reviews had any impact on the service now… but I can tell you I visit this location often and I get THE BEST service. They are quick, food is fresh with a smile. I have yet to receive a bad service. Keep up the good work!

I had a pleasant start to my experience here. Friendly service, fresh food prepared just right. Then I find an extra Chik that I had paid for was left off my order. I wanted to give 4 stars, I really did. But now that I’ve essentially been robbed of $ 1.70 I can’t.

I stopped here twice to get Chili for my home cooked Hot dogs. The first time I came I noticed that the outside was not very clean. But I was able to get my Chili that they give you on the Chili Pups and I was OUT!
The second time I was told that you can no longer get a bowl of the Chili for the Chili Pups as a separate items. After inquiring why and not receiving a reasonable answer from the store manager, I left and never returned.
I didn’t have a long wait either time. But I can see why the place was not crowded. I like for my stores to be consistent with their Food, Customer Service and Prices.

‘s brief history has already lamented the absence of negative stars… buddy, I could use some for this den of bad service.
So I finished mowing my Dad’s yard last evening and decided to hop in the car and zip up to the local Krystal’s to grab some chili so we could make chili dogs for supper. He asked that I go to this Krystal instead of the one over on 19/​41, which I did without thinking about the checkered past I’ve had with this location.
I’ve literally forgotten how many times I’ve received comically bad service from this restaurant… like the time the manager literally made a formal apology to me for the ineptitude of his employees.
This time around I placed an order for 4 Krystal burgers and a small container of chili. The woman on the other end of the speaker never relayed my final price to me or asked me to drive around to the window, so after three minutes of waiting I went ahead and made a command decision to drive myself around… but I was in for a 15 minute wait.
3 cars in front of me, 15 minutes of waiting.
I kept telling myself that I was *this* close to having my food and to remain calm, remain polite, and simply never return again to this service-​forsaken restaurant… and finally it there was only one car in front of me (from Lamar county as I recall) and they were receiving their order.
I was seconds from being able to pull up to the window when I noticed the driver of the car in front of me rooting around in her bag. Then she handed two little boxes of… were those hamburgers? Why yes, there were two… wait, no, there were two more… make that four, yes FOUR little Krystal burgers they were giving back.
Heeyyyyyy… waitaminute.
I ordered four regular Krystal burgers!
Right then and there I knew that I’d been done over by this Krystal’s location AGAIN. I was not ABOUT to drive up to the window so they could hand me food that an entire car of people had inspected and rejected.
I can only recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy long waits, receiving the wrong order, undercooked food, overcooked food, unfriendly service, dirty restrooms and any number of adventures in bacteria.
This is not a condemnation of all Krystal’s restaurants, just this one accursed outpost in the wilds of Riverdale.
