Went on a munchie run through the drive thru one night. ordered fully loaded fries and a bacon «somethin» burger (i forgot the name) anyway it took about 10min but when i made it home, my fries were over cooked, every bite i went for was crunchy as hell. i didn’t enjoy any of the meal. but i ate it, lol. Checkers has the best fries when they’re cooked right. this visit made me so sad! .2 Staarrrs!

Checkers’ current recipe comprising Ketchup, Chili Powder, and Taco Bell Ground Beef falls short of FDA requirements for the hot dog topping known as «chili».
Please adjust recipe to be in compliance with federal law.
Also be advised that the availability of coleslaw at Checkers locations in Waldorf, MD, but not those in Georgia, may incur civil penalties if not recitifed forthwith.
Failure to comply with these requests may result in customers no longer being enticed by the promise of $ 1 hot dogs.

I enjoy the food very much as far as fast food goes. I also like that they are always switching up and offering diferent food or dessert items. The food is always hot here, my only concern is how long I have to wait to get my food from drive through.

So this is not a review of the actual food, but of the beverages. I LOVE me some Banana Milkshakes from Checkers. They are GREAT!!! Every once in a while I switch it up and get Chocolate. :) They are rich, creamy and just sooo yummy in my tummy. I had to stop coming down this street to break my addiction.
But I am NOT a fan of the Sweet Tea. It’s sweet, but you should still taste Caffeine. It’s Tea darn it! I need Checkers to add a couple of more bags of Lipton and it should be much better!

Hey, it’s not Krystal’s, but what can you say bad about Checkers? Good burgers, good dogs, and GREAT fries, and even GREATER Southern SWEEEEET tea. We don’t have Checkers or Krystals in Boston, and this particular Checkers on Riverdale Road is one of my faves, since I used to live in the neighborhood. Beats Mickey D’s, Wendy’s, and all those places hands down!
