When previously having the option to email a document to have printed, a new change of policy now restricts that option. It is an inconvenience to have to register with to copy and print a document. No longer quick, easy, and convenient. Unless you want to waste your time go elsewhere.

Do not go to this store. TERRIBLE in every possible way. No one cares. Ordered 3 items for same day printing. At pickup wife was informed 1. There was no such order; 2. Once found order said it was ordered after 3:00 so no guaranty would be done in 4 hours since was placed after 2:00; 3. After showing order was placed before 1:00 said would start our order now and then said one of items couldn’t do bc didn’t have the right material in stock(even though accepted order and says would be done). Asked to at least print a paper version as out of options at that point. Came back and they said their printer RANOUTOFINK! Thats right, Staples couldn’t find order, misstated time ordered and then once found the order was out of the vinyl and then ran out of ink. This place is a joke and has zero inventory control,(I don’t like to call people incompetent but there isn’t a description that captures their lack of knowledge re their job better) and they acted like they could care less.

I never thought I would write a review for an OFFICESTORE, but my service today was totally horrible. The employees acted as if they didn’t want to be at work. I wanted to buy an Apple TV that was on ad. I walked into the store, found the item I wanted to purchase without any help, and went to the register to pay. Should be pretty simple, right? Wrong. It was an item that was an empty box(there were multiple on the shelves) and they went to the back to get the item. No big deal. It took TWENTY minutes for me waiting by the register to get my item from the back. Come to find out, nobody even was looking for it. Okaaaay… Someone finally goes to get it. Out of stock and haven’t had any in months. Why have the empty boxes ready to be purchased and brought to the register? Waste of a morning. Go elsewhere if possible, especially since everywhere price matches.

I really don’t understand Staples. They seem to say«This is what we have and you will like the price.» except that their selection isn’t great and their prices, even their clearance prices, are high. I wanted to see their printers and all-in-ones for a replacement for my aging models and they didn’t have much. The one I’d seen at half price at multiple stores was $ 30 more expensive now. I looked at the clearance section and the prices were still higher than I could get elsewhere at regular prices. With the merger between Officemax and Office Depot, I wonder if Staples will be able to continue their methods or go the way of Circuit City.

The 2 stars are for the gentleman that helped us in the back of store! Thank heavens for him or it would’ve been a complete wash! As we checked out we noticed that a price was mismarked. We went back to find the price, no offer from the girl running the front cash register. Then we returned unsuccessful, again no help, not even an offer! She was not interested in helping, being friendly, or in the least bit concerned. I was with my 83 year old mother in law and it was her item. Even basic respect for elders would’ve taught her to offer a hand. Nope! Not her. She was absolutely secure in her job standing at the cash register, with NO other customers staring at the wall… I’ll make the trip to Modesto thank you! They may think that because they are the biggest supplier around, wrong!!! People will go elsewhere when customer service is lackluster at best!

Their computer repair service is a scam. The price quoted was not honored and the snarky service manager just added insult to injury. I had to pay the ransom to get my PC back. Don’t use these guys for computer repair!

External Resources, Inc. purchases all of our office supplies from Staples. We thoroughly enjoy that there is free shipping available and it is brought right to our office the next day after purchasing items online.

A good store for most office needs. The employees seem like they would rather be somewhere else and can’t wait for you to leave. I don’t see any advantage to shopping at this store unless you happen to live really close.

It’s really clean, and decently stocked… but it’s hard to find anyone that really knows about the things they carry. I used to work at a store like this, and I know BS when I hear it. The website has deals that they won’t offer in store. Hm. Good for your kids’ school needs, but do your own research if you’re looking for electronics. They won’t be able to help much there IMO.
