Great traditional mexican taco presentation. I got the carne asada tacos and the meat was well flavored, but very chewy. I liked that they were pretty legit in terms of only having cilantro, onion and hot sauce on them though. The refried beans and rice were great with the grilled, fresh jalapeño on top, but I don’t believe I’ll be back.

Decent food establishment… beats eating at a Taco Bell or Taco Casa. I ordered Menudo to please a hungry appetite for lunch. It was fulfilling. I’d order it again in the future. From the outside, it looks run down but don’t let this fool y’all. Inside the café décor fits the rustic taco establishment,“a whole in the wall”:-). Go here for some Mexican food that taste is Mexican food not a commercial chain.

The chicken was too dry. And the meat was too greasy. I had the Asada, barbacoa tacos, and a lunch plate with chicken. Going to give them a second chance though. Friendly service.

Awesome hole in the wall. I’ve came here every day for the past three days.(Mostly BC I live down the street) however, they have really good taco meats. Very authentic. Tried other non-Taco dishes, wouldn’t recommend them. Menudo looked the same going out. :/ It’s a small little place with bar seating and many tables for 4 – 6. Id say capacity for that place is around 25 people. Been open for about 2 months. Prices are decent, nothing too expensive but isn’t dirt cheap either. Think fuel city tacos. If you dine in you get the usual complimentary chips and salsa while you wait, but I usually get it to go since I’m lonely and have no friends. Wait is about 6 minutes for food to go. Tacos are on the small side, I’d say order 3 – 4 if you’re small and 5 – 6 if you can eat more. Though if you’re really hungry, it’s entirely possible to down like 15… That would just be expensive if it isn’t happy hour. I usually order 4 because I’m broke. They have lunch specials Tu-Thr for taco plates, $ 7 for like 5 with rice and beans. Two meat. Then they have happy hour $ 1 tacos 5−8pm. [Update: happy hour tacos are gone] I don’t think they have alcohol, but do have a variety of sodas. But that’s okay, drinking alone isn’t pretty. :P
