I really wanted to give this shop a chance and like it. The owner is either bipolar or purposely two-faced. He was very nice and enthusiastic when I was in the market for a bicycle. However, when I brought in my beater bike, he did not do the work he said he’d do when he quoted the price. He even said he’d clean my bike, but neither the cosmetic nor mechanical work was performed. When I asked kindly why the bike still didn’t feel right, he was offended and said it was the best he could do. Well, I’m also sorry but this is the best review I can give him!

Love this place! So glad I found it and took the time to drop in. Rocky, the owner, spent a ton of time with me and he was very informative. I purchased a bike for my hubby on his birthday and it turned out to be a perfect fit thanks to Rocky. Awesome!

After seeing that this shop had a few used bikes posted on Craigslist, my family and I decided to stop by and check out the selection. The owner(Rocky) was super helpful and patient as each of us tested out multiple bikes, even when we told him that we were just looking to ride casually. We asked a ton of questions and he was honest and personable. We left with two used bikes and two new ones(each with free lifetime maintenance), and all of them were very reasonably priced. Will definitely be recommending this place to my friends, and I’m sure I’ll be back. Great shop! Keep up the good work, Rocky!

I tried to do business here but when I asked a question about which brake pads I would need for a 2011 trek we have, the guy said there are all these different types so depends what it has. I said they were stock but he didn’t know and didn’t want to look up what they would be. Came back home and googled the bike model and found what I needed. Needless to say I don’t plan to go back where customer service isn’t provided.

This is the closest bike store to me. It’s small and locally owned. There were a lot of neat, old school bikes. They had the right size tube unlike other unmentionable places. I also got a new tire. The owner was helpful in my selection. I’m happy I stopped by!

This might get a little long-winded but here it is. We bought a bicycle from a Craigslist posting for about $ 30. The bike needs/ed a lot of work(parts and repair). This was to be the first project of hopefully many. We try to support local shops, stores and restaurants as much as we can. So, for the first stage of this semi-restoration project I decided to take the bike(1963 Columbia) to Bicycle Center of Fort Worth in order to get advice on the tire size, tubes, and a new chain. I asked the owner/salesperson(??) for those parts. He looked at the bike and handed me the required items, which were two tires, tubes and a chain which totaled $ 80. I installed the chain and the front-tire and tube with no problem. Once I tried to fit the rear-tire, it was too small. So, I took the rear-tire, along with receipts and«packaging» back to the store the next day, hoping to exchange the tire for a larger size. Considering that I purchased the tires based on the employee’s expertise, I figured I would have no problem making the exchange, but was completely astonished that, not only did the employee act as though he was annoyed by my presence in the store, his response to my desire for an exchange was, «I’ll give you $ 5 for that tire!» Those words came from the same person who looked at the old tires and handed the new tires the previous day. Needless to say i was flattened by his blasé attitude.

I just finished reading the only review about this place and I was shocked by what I read. This quaint lil bicycle shop located in the Hamlet of River Oaks has a lot to offer as far as quality service for reasonable prices. Yeah its a small shop but really simple and with an econo lay out. New bikes are typically priced the same anywhere else and sometimes if you’re lucky he has them at a steal of a price. He also has a good selection of skateboards and accessories. What I like is that I can go in with confidence that the Guy is not gonna rip me off. I have purchased two Vintage bikes from this shop(GT& a Trek) and they are both my favorites now. I ended up selling my brand new Giant I bought from REI. Rocky is friendly guy and tries to remember everybody by name. Once you start becoming a regular then its a natural thing. The best part is I don’t have to drive all the way to REI for a part. This shop is right by my place. He has a discount bin that always has items at 50+% off. The most important part is that the Guy will make you a great deal on what used bikes he has. His bicycle knowledge and service are unbeatable by anyone else in the area. I dare you to be smart and try this place out. You wont be disappointed.

One of the highest priced bike shops I’ve ever seen. Anything you want, take the regular price and triple it. Each time I forget this I end up disappointed again! Floor space is super cramped & wayyyyyy too small. I can’t think of a reason why I’d ever come back here.
