Blink and you’ll miss this cute little bakery stuck off to the side of Rt. 1 near the Conowingo Dam. I really like the cookies and brownies. The cookies, including chocolate chip, M&M, and peanut butter, taste SO much better than your standard supermarket bakery or mall cookie store items. They are way fresher, thinner and a tad crispy, as opposed to the undercooked hunks of dough I usually find at the Giant Food. I don’t know why the whole rest of the world likes to gum their soft cookies, but since I’m still young enough to have all my own teeth, I prefer mine with a little bit of a crunch to ‘em. This place has a tiny Nathan’s stand inside as well in case you need a hot dog to go with your cookies. And it also sells decorated cakes. I haven’t actually had one yet but they sure do look purty. You can see photos of them on the business’s Facebook page. There’s an amazing armadillo cake, and a Netflix cake. Somebody really knows how to work that fondant. You have to get there kind of early since if you drive by later they might be closed or sold out of most everything, but if you can catch them open, it’s worth a stop.
