Beautifully maintained park! Ripon really takes care of their parks and it shows. We’ve taken quite a few family photos here since the scenery is so diverse and full of nature!

Nice park for playing volleyball and relaxing. Lots of shade and room to run around. Nice walking trail overlooking the Stanislaus River. Bring your own chairs, tables or blankets. There is(unautorized) access to the water but it is very steep and the water levels seems very low. But that doesn’t seem to stop people from bbqing and hanging out near the water. Personally I wouldn’t go in.(If you want easy access to a river try Mokeleme near the Fish Hatchery off McIntire and 88.) Been here a couple times once for a bday party and another to play volleyball.

My family found this place upon checking it out for a clients photography background choice. I fell in love! It’s fantastic for families and photographers! The beach along the river was a nice find after walking the trail. It was a very clean park!

I absolutely love this park, great paths to walk on if you go through the gate at the end of the park. Quite adventurous. Great place to take pictures.

I always like the serenity of this public park. A big plus is how well mantained the park is; with well manicured grass areas, hiking trail that follows the river, game area and several covered bench areas for events. I have yet to find anything annoying about this park, there isn’t any gangs or trash thrown on the ground(I know what’s the difference between trash and gangs? About ten years in a penitentury) For familys this place is great because the park is big enough that you can avoid areas near the river for childrens safety. There are several areas for people to play various games and vast areas for recreation. The park isn’t extremely large but big enough to accommodate a huge number of people. Things you can do; boci ball, horseshoes, museum, hike, bike, climb jungle gyms, play softball, picnic, rent covered area for receptions, study, use playing field for events or games. I feel at peace at Mavis Stouffer Park and I like the fact that its safe enough here; that you don’t have a need to pack.
