Johnny’s Plumbing

We’ve had Johnny’s out for several different issues now. The first was after our old plumber couldn’t fix something. He made some expensive recommendations. We called Johnny’s out on a Saturday for a second opinion. They had the problem diagnosed (differently), fixed, and at a much lower cost than we were originally quoted. Needless to say we have a new plumber.

Yes, i looked at Unilocal before I called and saw a couple of bad reviews. But I used to work in Ripon and I always saw their trucks. Since I live in Salida, I thought they would be a close plumber to call. Not only did they arrive SAME DAY. but it was within the hour! They took care of my problem and it didn’t cost me a week’s paycheck. I am very happy with the work they did and if I ever have plumbing issues in the future, they will be first on my list to call. I was given wrong information by the plumber. Garbage was backing up into the second sink and there was a leak in the pipes. The plumber came and said the garbage disposal needed to be replaced. He replaced it and fixed the leak. Two days later the garbage was again backing up into the second sink. I called the office and was told the plumber would be coming out but if it was a different problem I would be charged a service charge. He came out and fixed the problem. He told us we were using the garbage disposal wrong (?). We needed to flush the sink for five minutes with hot water and that he had to charge the service call. I protested. He said it was a different problem. I wrote the review feeling I was being overcharged for his error. I shoud have contacted the office before I wrote the review. When the office manager (?) read the Unilocal review she called me immediately. I told her what happened. She is sending a check for the second service charge and will talk to the plumber. From now on I will call the office to make sure the employee is really representing their policy.

Horrible! Made an appointment with then not once but twice and they didn’t show up! Not even a call!!! So rude! Will never recommend this company

Great Service! Friendly people! Hard workers! I had a broken pipe in my bathroom. I called Johnny’s and right from the beginning was greeted by a very friendly person. The plumbers who arrived were very professional, worked hard and got the job done, despite that it is an old house with bad pipes. The price for their hard work and dedication to finishing the job was OUTSTANDING! I highly recommend Johnny’s Plumbing to anyone who will listen… and I plan to do a lot of talking!!!

Needed some relatively quick work done. There were prompt, professional and clean. Even after the job was done I called and asked if they could come back and fix something I wasn’t completely satisfied with, nothing due to workmanship, just me being picky. There were back within the hour and finished the work with no questions asked.

We gave them a 3 because we are very surprised at how unprofessional Johnnys Plumbing seems to be.
Johny’s Plumbing recently worked in our house. The plumber fixed the problem in one afternoon, but we were really surprised at how unprofessional the office manager acted. She sounded annoyed that she had to call to make sure we were home before the plumber arrived!
Additionally, they were working nearby one morning and we were woken up to hear them cursing and yelling near their van which was parked within earshot. Then they drove away in a hurry and scraped their bumper on the street. Not very professional while on a job.
Next time we need plumbing done, we will most likely call another company who values our business more. We don’t need to spend our money at a place where this kind of unprofessionalism is accepted.
