I love Burgess Bakery! Every cake I’ve ever ordered is fresh, delectable and beautiful! From cupcakes to croissants you can’t miss! This is my home town bakery and we are so lucky to have this special place in our town!

I’ve been a customer here since my sons first birthday party which was two years ago. The cake they made far exceeded my expectations. It was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked ! Not only that but there pricing was extremely reasonable ! They also made rice crispy treats and accommodated them to match his theme ! (Super hero theme) I have since gone back and have had a graduation cake made for my sister and my sons second birthday cake !
Jessica H. Is who I always have decorate my cakes, she is the best ! (Not to say any of the others aren’t as good as her) she is so sweet and really brings your idea to life ! Customer service is all around great. I personally haven’t had a problem with anyone giving me a hard time or bad service .
Needless to say, I will keep going back to them for all my cakes and goodies for any event. (And that says a lot since I live in Modesto and am willing to travel the extra miles to get myself a cake !)

Customer Service — Owner has a ‘go to hell’ attitude. A field in customer service is not for everyone and it is definitely not for her. She will force a smile if she has to but if you ask for any special requests she will get very confrontational.
Taste — I’ll eat any cupcake, but I threw away the one I bought from Burgess before I even got to the car. They were old, hard, and the frosting glob fell to the ground in one piece after only two licks.
Visit Frost Bakery Instead!
