Sheram Douglas L DDS

I love Dr. Sheram.
I didn’t have high expectations for receiving excellent medical care in New Mexico and most of my experiences here have reinforced this thought. However, Dr. Sheram is clearly the exception and probably the best dentist I’ve ever had — and I’ve lived in many places.
Dr. Sheram has done quite a bit of work on my teeth. He’s replaced a number of cracking fillings, made me a bite guard, etc., and stressed to me the importance of managing my bite/​bruxism and regular flossing and use of the waterpik. Most reassuring of all is that he just cares and guarantees his work and will do what he needs to in order to make you comfortable with his work. What is most endearing to me is that not only is Dr. Sheram a great dentist, but he’s just a great guy in general. Having had the pleasure to get to know him during our chair-​side chats, he’s just an upstanding guy in a humble, self-​deprecating shell.
His office staff and hygienists, the latter whom I’ve had limited experiences with, are also top notch. The only negative I can think of is that office operations run a bit slow due to his patient load. Obviously, all those patients are well deserved.
I won’t miss much moving away from New Mexico but I will miss Dr. Sheram and his gang and will have to look high and low I think to find a comparable dentist in my new home state.
