Very friendly staff, a gentleman even carried a huge bag of dog food to my car for me. They are also very helpful if you need help finding something, and there is always someone there, you don’t need to wait an eternity for assistance like tou sometines do at other hardware stores

I just got a dose of some good Ol’fashioned customer service! The older gentleman that was helping me went completely out of his way to genuinely assist me in the competition of my project. He made me feel that it was no longer my project but rather «Ours» which is just unheard of nowadays. Needless to say that with his expert advice and tutelage, I walked out there eager to finish up my project (which I did) I highly recommend this place over ANY Home Depot I’ve ever been to!

Great local small business. They have a great central location in Rio Linda. Plenty of products and supplies packed in a smallish store location based on todays standards but NEVER LACKING for any of the things I need or want. This is one of the few traditional style hardware stores that you will find anymore that will instantly remind you of the ones you went to with your parents as a child.
Great customers service. Friendly employees that are helpful and actually know what they are talking about. Great selection and quality products. Fast service and no long lines! Products from A-​Z! If you need it they probably will have it at least that has always been the case for me.
I am a huge fan of businesses, employees and owners that «get it», especially small local businesses. And Rio Linda Hardware & Building Supply «get’s it» they care about offering good quality products at competitive prices with helpful friendly customer service. Its so nice to have this here in Rio Linda we are very lucky. Managment has been great. Staff always knows where something I need and will most of the time get it for me before i get there. Great selection of items.

I’ve been shopping and «donating» LoL, to Rio Linda Hardware since 1991. Everyone who is employed there is so knowledgeable in their departments. Save the stress of traffic, gasoline, tires and time and limited help from the «Big Box» stores miles away. This Hardware store is as equipped with merchandise that matches the bigger competitors. Always a pleasure to keep the money and jobs in the community.

The owner is super sweet and always friendly, his wife however is hit and miss. You can pay your utility bills in the back, they have garden veggies in the spring time, a popcorn machine for the kids to get fresh popcorn and they have almost every hardware supply you could need. They have weekly adds that come out to your mailbox too if you live in good ol’ Rio Linda. Way closer to the house than a Home Depot but not nearly as much selection.

Small town hardware store feel, almost as many items as you would find at a «big box» store other than appliances and the other big stuff. And it’s NEVER difficult to find someone. Every person I’ve ever asked for help has been incredibly knowledgeable and quick to lend a hand.

My go-​to hardware store on weekends when I’m «stuck» doing house projects — great crew, even the young ones. Prices can be a bit high, but hey it saving me from burning gas driving to Home Depot!
And ya know, they never laugh at me when I come back 2 or 3 times trying to fix something at the house…
