Wow! Rio Linda has one of the best kept secrets with this diner in an old plaza in the old quiet side of town. Tried this place for the first time today with my girlfriend, she is there it seems every other weekend with her family. So naturally the jealous boyfriend in me demanded that I try this place. Ordered the country fried skillet because a my test of strength for any diner is their country fried steak or biscuits and gravy. I can honestly say this was a top notch meal! The breading on the steak had a nice crunch to it and actually stuck to the meat instead of peeling off. The gravy was thick, meaty and creamy too. One of the reasons I’m giving them a 5 star rating is their hash browns. Done perfectly, I can’t think of a place with better. Our waitress was attentive and never kept us waiting on her attention. The place does feel a bit dated but then again what diner doesn’t look that way? Really enjoyed the food and I look forward to another trip sooner than later.

Patrick was very nice and VERY good. Depending on your need he will drive to a central location near you or to your house. So much easier than driving extra miles and time to a fixed location far from my home AND he passes the saving on you. 50−75% less than other quotes I received. He’s the best and most honest locksmith I’ve found in the Auburn/Rocklin/Roseville area. He shows up on time instead of waiting for hours and then a no show from some other locksmiths. I won’t use anyone else. Gary Renee A

We stumbled on this place after leaving the Sacramento International Airport. Driving the back way thru Rio Linda I searched on Unilocal for a breakfast place. This place had some decent reviews and it was close by. Upon pulling into the parking lot you immediately notice the boarded up buildings within this strip. But located in this strip mall is a small diner, zcreekside Diner. When you walk in you notice this is a local favorite. About half full of patrons, mostly older crowd, we found the waitress, or should I say she found us and stated it was open seating. Very friendly. The menu is simple, eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, waffles and pancakes. I ordered the Polish Sausage with eggs, hash browns and English muffin. The prices are very reasonable and staff attentive. The plate arrived and it was huge. Large portions, hash browns hanging over the plate, two Polish sausages and the eggs were perfect. Although this place is the only legit business the this mostly boarded up strip mall, don’t discount how good the good is at this lyke hidden diner. ENJOY.

I was looking for something a little bit off the beaten path and found this place. It’s your classic small family diner that focuses on breakfast. It’s a little crusty looking inside but I didn’t hate it, kind of reminds me of home. The food did not blow me away but it was definitely a lot better than several diners I have been to lately. The portions were definitely generous. I couldn’t finish my meal and that hardly ever happens. Prices were definitively fair considering how much food I got. Service was super quick. My food came out about 5 minutes after ordering. I don’t hate that even a little bit. When you first walk in it’s kind of awkward because you’re not sure if you wait for them to seat you or you seat yourself. I didn’t see any signs explaining what you should do so we just sat ourselves and I guess that’s what they want you to do. I would say it’s worth checking out if you are in north sac but I would not call it a destination spot.

This place is decent. But the employees are amazing. They are the reason I have gone there since I was 3. The kids meals are delicious and the adult meals are alright. If you decide to go there, have a good time. It is a good place to bring the family. This is a nice small town restaraunt.

Great portions, great price. Formally known as OakCreek Diner, this small whole in the wall located in Rio Linda is a decent breakfast spot. I’ve never eaten here other than breakfast so I won’t comment on anything else. I come here when I want a decent breakfast and don’t want to drive anywhere. Cheap, great food with good service. The décor is what you would expect for a town like RL, pretty outdated and old looking. They have some sport decoration but mostly older looking curtains and blinds. Food is mediocre but the price is great. I can normally have a good breakfast for two for less than $ 20. People are friendly here and service is always good. Decent spot if you’re in the area for comfort food.

We went here for the first time today. We live really close and wanted to check it out. Walking in its a fairly small place with tables almost up to the door. We weren’t greeted immediately and when we finally got up to the counter we figured out it was seat yourself. The service was weird since we had three different waitresses at any given time helping us and they weren’t super attentive. I ordered the farmers skillet which was pretty good and the prices weren’t ridiculous which was nice. I would definitely come again but mainly because it was decent and its close not because it was spectacular.

I was looking for a diner to eat breakfast before heading out to explore. Fast service perfectly cooked bacon and amazing biscuit and eggs. I got the coffee here and they also offer french vanilla cream. I would definitely recommend this place and be coming here again.

Such a cute little diner… my hubby and I are not from here and needed something healthy to eat. We ordered egg whites dry with veggies and dry wheat toast. The food was very delicious for something that healthy and very affordable. We were pleasantly surprised when we received the bill. The service was quick and super friendly. We will be eating here the next few days before we head back to Los Angeles. Happy we found this place!

Inconsistent. Came on a Monday and it was amazing! Huge portions and cooked perfectly. Coffee kinda meh but the food was great. I had corned beef hash w over easy eggs and hash browns w pancakes. Yum! I would give 5 stars but… came back the following thursday and ordered the same thing. Hash was mushy. Pancakes thin and luke warm. Hash browns BURNT. I would have returned them… but don’t enjoy saliva I’m my food. I ordered my eggs scrambled this time and they were luke warm. I had them add gravy and it was luke warm as well and flavorless. I ended up drenching it all in tobasco. So… I’m hoping it was a new cook working that day. Ill go back only in Mondays now. Nom nom.

Went there for the first time today for breakfast and it was great! Great little dive hole in the wall with excellent service, food and prices. Don’t let the creepy strip mall it’s in scare you away, this place is worth slumming it!

Good OJ and coffee. Rio Linda Sunday destination for breakfast. The diner was packed; good sign. A sign outside announced April’s birthday, one of the waitresses. It looked pretty clean, fast and good service. The 3 egg veggie and cheese omelette came with hash browns and small pancakes, all delicious. It was a good experience. Posted a couple of food pictures; the second was egg with linguica, the portuguese sausage.

I have only eaten here for breakfast. Every time I have left happy. They serve very tasty food, give generous portions, and charge a quite reasonable price. When you order a breakfast item you get the choice of toast, mini pancakes or a home made biscuit. The biscuit is a huge 4 inch biscuit and is almost a meal in its self. The only downside, if you want to call it a downside is that the décor is a kind of funky country décor. Some may actually find that appealing. But if you want a no frills tasty meal, I highly recommend the Creekside Diner. It is one of my favorite places for breakfast. For those living in North Natomas, it is less than a 10 minute drive.

Every small town has a «go to» diner and the Creekside Diner is ours! We love having breakfast there every Sunday and saying«Hi» to our friends and neighbors. The service is excellent, prices are fair, and the food is consistently good and served with generous portions. We’ll keep enjoying this great little gem which is owned by former employees(used to be the Oak Tree Diner) and hope you will too.

Previously Oak Tree Diner. Great food, fast friendly service and decent prices. Sodas are gigantic with free refills and I always have food left over. This is a hot spot for breakfast on the weekends and is always poppin. Go on down and have some buscuits and gravy, they are awesome!
