Great bagels here!!! I love the French toast bagels but get then when you can early b/c they sell out quick, they only make 1 batch for the morning crowd and when ever they sell out its usually b/c workers near by probably buy them all up for their employees which i can’t blame them they are phenomenal!!! Also try their healthy power wrap breakfast sandwich(not sure if its called that tho lol) *it can be made in anything you want too; wrap, bagel, croissant, flat bread, etc. …just wish they had Turkey Bacon tho… but eh can’t get everything, still a great place for my sunday morning bagel needs lol

Marisa nailed it, with an excellent Power Wrap-egg white, chicken, spinach, tomato and some hot sauce! Really GOOD!

Bagels are just okay, but the service… way too much to be desired. No eye contact, grunting, no thank you at the end… I was still buying stuff and they wanted to ring me up, as if they wanted me out of there. The staff definitely act like they hate being there… I’m sure the owner would love to know this and take a look at how their staff are treating their customers. I have been there 3 times to give them a chance and always the same thing… will never go back and WILL tell my friends…

Good bagels and breakfast sandwiches, but was mean to us when we came in around noon because they were cleaning up. They close at 3! I do love the food quality here and the overall ambience of the room but perhaps the workers could not make it obvious that they’re trying to get us out ASAP

They always make my bacon extra crispy when I ask for it. This is one of the only places that I can trust that will not undercook the bacon if requested. I like this place because it’s fast and around the corner. Not too much money for a sandwich too. Usually our top pick for places to go when we have horrible hangovers and really can’t wait the extra half-hour for our food. Their chicken salad is also pretty acceptable. Overall a decent place.

Decent bagels and breakfasts on the go if you are near the bus stop, but one thing: why is it called«famous» if I have never heard of it where I used to live in south NY? Just saying.

Meh. Goldberg’s on Greenwood Lake Turnpike is very close to my house but I stopped going there after four or five tries. They are relatively expensive, the coffee isn’t very good, and there is nothing to distinguish their food from any of the other bagel shops within 20 miles. The service is fairly slow, and they have an annoying tendency to shut down and clean their grill an hour before closing time so, if you want a hot sandwich after 2pm, you are SOL.

The owner Rob made me one of the best Philly Cheese Steaks I’ve ever had. It had 2 cheeses, hot sauce, onions, peppers and potato salad… yes I said potato salad, and it was amazing. They have a great selection of different sandwiches and bagels and you can get a lot of variety. I’ve started coming to this place more often since discovering it. I also really like how they keep their coffee area. There’s a cool vintage fridge where the milk is kept… I hate the places that keep the milk out as if they change it every hour. Goldberg’s is definitely a great spot for breakfast or lunch. Clean, Organized, Great Food

Number one favorite bagel place in the area. Every time I come home from school I make sure to stop by at least once! Great service, great food, great prices. Really can’t beat it!

Nice clean place. Best Bagels in the area that I’ve tried IMO. Good selection also and they have a deli counter. It’s a bout a 4 mile drive for me when I’m up there but worth it.

Love this place! The staff is super friendly and the bagels are delicious! They have a creative breakfast menu and sandwich menu! Great whitefish salad, fresh lox, fun cream cheese choices, amazing muffins, and many more reasons to eat here!

Excellent bagels. As good as the best bagels I have had in Brooklyn, NY. Goldberg’s famous are crispy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy on the inside. Exactly like a bagel should be, in other words. I went here before a hike in West Milford and ordered a toasted multigrain bagel with scallion cream cheese. Multigrain bagels are generally dry, filled with seeds, and otherwise gross, but this was not the case here. Goldberg’s multigrain bagel had a nice buttery flavor and texture which paired well with the scallion cream cheese. I can’t say how healthy it was, but it sure tasted good. Cream cheese was zesty and flavorful, but not overly pungent and salty. Leaving the rating at 4 stars for now, as I would like to sample some of their bagel sandwiches before bumping to a 5, but this place is solid. I will certainly be returning the next time I am in the area for a hike. I only wish it was a bit closer to where I live, as bagels this good are hard to find.

Let me first say that I have never eaten here, I have only stopped for coffee in the morning on my way to work. Generally they are fast, friendly, and have good coffee. However, the last time i stopped I waited forever just to pay for my coffee and after the older woman behind the counter began to help a customer that had come in after me, I spoke up. The woman was artificially friendly with a very condescending tone. Before I had even walked out the door she made a comment about me cutting the line but expecting to be serviced. This was just untrue and very bad for business. One should never talk negatively about customers in front of other customers. Though it was purely personal, I will never stop there again.

Goldbergs wasn’t famous with me until we went searching for a new breakfast spot. Very pleased I made a hard right when we saw the sign. I had the chicken chop suey sandwich that was delicious and Brenda ate an egg white spinach wrap with swiss cheese that was also distinctively tastier than other places. I also splurged on three fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. We are now fat and happy :)

Our go to bagel place. Posting a picture of the Mean Gene sandwich… It’s a French Toast bagel, Taylor ham, egg, and cheese. Great regular bagels too.

This is the ninth time in a row that this place has messed up our order. We got a half an egg and 1 piece of bacon on a roll thank god that crisp is open next weekend cause I hate going somewhere where if your not one of the little girls buddies your service sucks.

After refusing to give anymore business here since the 8 chances we gave them, not one order was correct, we decided to try it again. Nothing has changed– I ordered a simple egg and bacon on a bagel. I got a flat bagel with raw meat tossed on it and what looks like ½ an egg. What a disgusting sandwich. How this place has other locations i will never understand. We are probably owed around $ 50 in refunds at this point. This place is out of chances in our family. I end this with tossing out my breakfast. Thanks for hiring people who do not wish to work on the weekend, and prove this through their food prep.

Excellent bagels and sandwiches. The staff is all high school kids, but typically fairly friendly. Prices are reasonable and the sandwiches are huge and stuffed. Try the viper, roast beef and egg on a Kaiser roll.
