Kentucky Fried Chicken – Taco Bell

If you are looking for «Fast» food, then this is not your place. Constantly long wait times, and if I am lucky, I actually get what I order. If I drive up and see 2 in the drive thru, and 2 or 3 at the counter, I know that my 30 min lunch break will be shot. My last visit… (AND WILL BE MY LAST) The crew was arguing over who was supposed do «their» Job. They are the only «Fast» food place in town, and I guess they feel that because that is the fact, that they can treat their customers anyway they want. I try to understand that things can get hectic, but REALLY? Multiple visits with the same results is now looking more like the definition of «Insanity»… keep repeating expecting a different result.

If it weren’t the only fast food in town, this place would be out of business three times over. TB/​KFC never sets the bar for service or quality… But giving this place 5 chances makes me the biggest fool. 5 visits, 5 orders completely mangled. Basic, 3 beef tacos supreme or original crispy bucket simple. Our last visit resulted in a 25 minute wait for our food, only to find they were «out of mashed potatoes» and «making a fresh batch» as I saw drive through orders getting copious amounts of mashed potatoes. Cashier refused to bring a manager out, hid in back for 10 minutes and only my loud voice got the manager to come out, telling me also that there were no mashed potatoes and saying it’s not his fault all of his staff quit that week. Pointed out the tub of hot potatoes behind him, asked for a fresh (not hour old) chicken and was told «just give me your fucking debit card and I will give it to you free». Took the refund, left the foodborne illness on the counter. Filth everywhere, literally and figuratively. Don’t give them a penny of your hard earned money, a store like this needs a wake up call.

I go here frequently (seeing as its one of like only three fast food restaurants in the area) and a third of the time something is missing from my order, or something isn’t right, example I ordered the NACHO doritos Loco taco (close to 3 $ mind you) to come all the way home to unwrap a regular crunchy taco. also the wait time in the drive thru is crazy long so don’t go here if you’re in a rush…

I came in and it took me well over a half an hour to get my food. They kept serving the drive through the whole time

This review goes out specifically to a dude that I have never met.
Last week my grandfather went shopping at the local Hannaford’s and decided he didn’t want to cook at home, so he went to this KFC/​Taco Bell for some fried chicken. He planned on using a gift card I had gotten him for a birthday or christmas or something. He ordered a 2 piece meal, and when he presented his gift card, he was told he couldn’t use it. No explanation was forthcoming. Apparently, this effort was too hard for this asshat of a manager. Maybe he didn’t know himself.
Unruffled, my grandfather pulled out his was and paid in cash LIKE A BOSS, and sat down and waited. His number and the number of the lady who had ordered in front of him were called at the same time. She arrived first, grabbed a bag and left. My grandfather arrived slightly afterwards only to be told by this fuckwit that the lady had taken his bag of food, and left hers. A long silence ensued. Then this paragon of leadership suggested that my grandfather take her food. My grandfather refused. This aborted fetus then told my grandfather that if he wanted his 2 piece meal, then he would have to pay for it. Again. My grandfather again refused. The manager then let him either he was going to take the bag of food the lady had left, or he would pay (again) for the food he had ordered, or leave the store.
This is a mistake. My grandfather is from a different era of manliness. He’s survived horrific fires, car accidents, tractor mishaps, and other disasters that very few of us have to bother with. He was not going to be bullied by a fast food dictator. After what I assume was a steely glare with the promise of murder, he received his two piece meal. Reportedly, the chicken was awful, but the cole slaw and mashed potato and gravy was decent.
So to you, douche nozzle of a manager, I have a final message. I’m having a hard time figuring out what the worst part of this is, that you tried to fuck over a 74 year old man, or that you dicktucked when the aforementioned 74 year old man raised his voice at you and pointed out your mistake. Have fun managing the day shift at Taco Bell. I’m sure its going to be the highlight of your life.

Consistently bad food and service. Appears to be run by teenagers and is usually not cleaned (even the counter area by the drinks is always dirty). Only thing it has going for it is that it is the only fast food option in town!
