Wonderful service. We came in before lunch started and our server set up the salad bar early so we could eat it! Even after we insisted she not do so. The food was amazing, our server suggested the Philly Cheesesteak and boy was she right. Yummy! Reasonably priced too!

This was my first time here since moving to Rincon. I must say it was very good! Just some good ol’ home style cooking. I had the open faced meatloaf sandwich and it was perfect. Our waitress was extremely nice and personable. I don’t know what the other reviewers are talking about. I think you guys are doing an awesome job! Kudos to you for a wonderful inviting restaurant. We’ll be back soon!

Disappointed. .my steak was not eatable. Last 2 times we were there the food was either cold or meat tuff. We will go back and try again but I suggest someone else to cook meats in kitchen. Otherwise everything else on plate was good.

I wish they served real corned beef not the sliced lunchmeat with cabbage. Like real thick sliced from the brisket kind of corned beef

I was craving a hot dog. The only one I saw was on the children’s menu but fortunately when I asked the waitress put one together for me with potato salad a few potato chips and a garlic pickle it was a great lunch.

Food was great. Service was a little slow. But I think it was more the kitchen. I recommend it highly.

I recently moved to Rincon from the coast, and Frank and Linda’s Diner was suggested as my first restaurant to try for quality. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and very affordable prices. It wasn’t busy when I got there, but the server was attentive without hovering, making some great suggestions from their specials menu. The seafood was fresh and the seasonings were interesting. The place doesn’t look famous or anything, but someone in that kitchen can flat out cook. The prices were lower than I expected given the quality of the food and portion sizes. I recommend Frank & Linda’s Diner and look forward to visiting again.

We make a habit of coming here when we visit our son in Rincon. We like the daily specials board and you can always find something good on the menu. My granddaughters love the mac and cheese and the waitstaff always makes sure we are all well taken care of. That being said if they are busy you will wait for your food but no more than usual and it’s well made. I do agree with a previous review about the décor. It’s needs a bit of freshening up but the old world charm is warm and inviting.

I visited the area for a girl’s weekend in Savannah. A friend suggested this diner for breakfast. Walking into this place is going back in time. I’m not quite sure what’s going on here, huge almost renaissance like furniture, a buffet, stuffed animals and an enormous amount of plastic flowers and ivy. We were seated at what seems to be the kings table and at the time only two other small tables were occupied. The waiter immediately was overwhelmed by the 7 of us all wanting coffee, but it eventually made its way to our table. The tables… gross. It was disgusting. Covered in sticky, gross, crumbly everything. The menu was gross, the ketchup bottle, the chairs… everything was dirty. I was hoping Gordon Ramsey walked in to give this place a makeover! So why two stars and not one? The food was actually«ok» even though I was scared to eat it after seeing the state of the dining room. Once we got the food it was fine. It took forever, and we each got our meals one at a time. It was very odd. We had to watch each other eat. The prices were cheap, and everyone left full however I would not return to Frank and Linda’s ever.

After enjoying breakfast here a few times we decided to try lunch. Maybe the lunch staff is different, or maybe its changed a lot in the last 6 – 8 months since we’ve been but I can honestly say we’ll never go back again after our lunch experience. The staff was terrible. We walked in as the church crowd was leaving, saw the wait to be seated sign & waited while being looked at by several of the staff for a few minutes before someone finally seated us. She asked if we needed a high chair for our nearly 2 year old, yes indeed. However, was easily distracted & sparked up a conversation with another waitress about her tip from her last table. My husband had to hunt down a high chair, that the strap was broken on(had my daughter found out she wasn’t confined she would have jumped ship). We were greeting with one waitress who asked our drink order, then another waitress/child(I’m assuming just a helper cause she wasn’t any older than 12) asked our drink order a few minutes later. As we’re looking at our menu a 3rd waitress yelled as she was walking by «I’ll be right with you guys», had to be talking to us b/c there was nobody else in our area. About 10 minutes later she took our order. About 30 minutes later we got a order of bread(stated it comes with our meal), she brought out another loaf & said she accidentally double ordered but would fix our check(I didn’t ask but she did say it was«with» our meal). Shortly afterwards we got our order. My youngest had a chard hotdog, the other one didn’t complain. My husbands was«okay» and mine(French Dip sandwich) was disgusting. The bread was warm but meat was cold, it had no horseradish sauce on it & the amount of au jus dip was a minimal. The sweet potato fries were good except they could have left the chunk of butter off the top of it. Then after our meals were for the most part eaten, it took forever to get out check. The check just had a total at the end, did not have anything broken down. I don’t like this at all in any restaurant b/c I want to see what you’re charging me for. 2 sandwiches &2 kids meals for $ 40 at lunch-time didn’t seem correct but I was so ready to get out of that place I didn’t say a word.

Food tasted pretty good. You should know that the sweet potato fries come covered in honey and the hamburger steak is swimming in gravy but tasted fine and was perfect temperature.

I am sooooo eager to eat here again on my return trip to Savannah. I had the grilled chicken and scrambled egg whites with home fries and my lord was it filling and satisfying. I look forward to my lunch and dinner experience.

Maybe okay for breakfast or lunch but the dinner was bad. The steaks ordered medium rare were well done and the wrong sides were delivered. The people were nice its just a shame the kitchen couldn’t deliver.
