Our family has gone here every year during our summer vacation. It has seemed to deteriorate each year we have gone but this year(July 2015) was a joke. We paid $ 100 for a round of golf, Indy cars that most were not working and staff that didn’t care or want to bother with our frustrations. Most«rides» we’re not even working. Complete waste of time and money! We will not be going back next year or any year after unless some serious improvements are made.

This is practically the only outdoor human created entertainment in the area. With a group of people anything is fun, which I highly suggest you visit the Riot Zone with a group. The place is pretty average and pretty vanilla. You and your friends have option to play mini-golf, race go-karts, sail of the bumper boats, climb a rock wall, bounce in a bouncy castle and there’s a giant shuttle. It’s a very safe place for young children. There’s a concession, where you also buy tickets for all the activities. The place is reasonably priced and cheaper than a movie ticket. Since the impeding rain was impeding on riot time, we played mini-golf($ 6 including tax). The course is alright. I played a lot of mini-gold in my time– Pirate Golf, Jungle Golf, Adventure, Undersea Golf, so I’m a connoisseur of the min-golf experience. The Riot Zone’s course does have a lot of trees and unusual hole layout with water traps, but in general, the course needs to be resurfaced and smoothed so when one practically hits the ball straight, it actually goes straight. I also find that it’s nice to have the par for the hole on a sign and not just on the score card. I would suggest if one is not old enough to have kids nor does one want to be swamped by kids, to visit the Riot Zone at an off-peak time. The price is right for a good hour or two of group fun for the lazy summer day.
