Yummmmmm! I had the brisket with fried okra, and jalapeño beans. Everything was scrumptious!!! The brisket had the perfect amount of smokiness and was melt in your mouth tender. A great value. I’ll be back soon!

I have always liked Dickey’s BBQ and this place is no exception. My brisket sandwich was tender, lean and flavorful which, combined with their spicy sauce, made for a delicious lunch. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. The sides of green beans and bbq beans were good, too. Like the Terminator, I’ll be back.

This place drives me nuts, as to how you can mess up food that they don’t even seem to cook is beyond me. I have never seen such an unorganized restaurant. I will never get talked in to trying this McDonalds style BBQ place again. Seemed like a good idea but no way this place should survive. Sorry to be harsh but last time my stomach tried to claw it’s way out after eating here.

Dickey’s simply isn’t good BBQ. Reheated smoked meat is poor form, and if a place is serving multi-day old smoked meats, then it’s not an authentic BBQ joint, or at least not one that takes any pride in their product. We shared a three meat combo, with turkey, chicken, and pulled pork, along with jalapeño beans and coleslaw. The turkey /chicken is cubed in ¾″ irregular cubes, and almost fall-off-the-bone, except there is no bone, so it’s just falling apart, cubed mushy meat. The pulled pork was clearly reheated, or had been sitting in a warmer for days; it was greasy and grey, like it was microwaved. Sad little pork :(Even the sauces were mediocre. For sides, the colelaw was diced cabbage with Marzetti coleslaw dressing. The beans were the only redeeming quality of the meal. We would have rather had Subway than here, unfortunately. Avoid.

New ownership does wonders. A friend told us to try Dickey’s Barbecue in Rifle CO. The food is unbelievable! The Pulled Pork was some of the best that I have ever tasted! We have stopped there twice and each time the food was excellent. We even brought several pounds of their pulled pork to hold us until we are in the again. Try them, you will not be disappointed!

No just no. Where do I start? Let’s see, we walked in, hungry group of 10 on a mini vacay. Took a seat while a couple of us went up to order. Mr. Big time stoner gonna take our order. Went something like this(very short version): we’ll get 2 family packs. Stoner: do you want the xl fam pack? Us: no thank you. Stoner: ok but just so you know we’re out of chicken and cheddar sausage. Us: ok we’ll take ribs, beef, polish sausage. Stoner: oh we don’t have enough ribs and were out of all sausage and were out of blah blah blah. Really dude? What do you have?! Tried asking about sides and he literally said we were making his Brain short circuit(um no dude, lay off the drugs). After we finally ordered and got waters for everyone, my MIL wanted an ice tea so we got her one and this dude made a remark like we were gonna fill our water cups with her tea!!! How rude! We spent $ 95 bucks dude really?! Worse was the meat we did get was cold. A few of us had bad stomach aches that night. Not good BBQ, better off going across the bridge to rib city grill.

It was okay for me. When we got there, they ran out of chicken, sausage and something else. And they didn’t have enough ribs for us to order two racks. However, the pork was good. The family said the brisket was good too. The customer service i wasn’t crazy about. They need to work on it.

kids eat free on Sunday-great bonus I found out about when down there Very moist barbeque, lots of choices on food and the sides that go with it-very, very good bbq-already a fan, but some of the workers smoking outside is the wrong kind of marketing-hope they get everything together soon as it’s great food

I’ve eaten at this place a half dozen times since they’ve open hopping they’ll get their stuff together. However, I’m still not impressed. I’ve eaten at other Dickeys and have really enjoyed their model but the service is so poor at this particular location I don’t think I’ll be going back. The last time I was there the staff was unorganized clearly stressed out which made for a very uncomfortable experience. Also, it took almost a half hour to get my food because they completely stopped serving people in line to put together a take out order. They had two people working on this one order while the guy at the cash register was standing there doing nothing. I don’t think the staff has received any training.

FINALLY! I have been eating Dickey’s BBQ since the 70’s and am thrilled to see them in Rifle. The Brisket was moist and tender, the onion tangles with to die for and the Okra was awesome. I was so stuffed when I finished, but it was worth it! The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back
