Local ale house. I recommend the burgers and wings. Service can depend on the waiter. But this place was much needed in our community.

Would give it a negative if I could … I used to go in this great person was always thier (steph). Thought she was the owner or at least the manager but sadly she was not. She was the first person to ever take care of me thier, I have gone when she was not working and never did I get the service she gave me… So today after not being thier in a month I show up with some friends to hang out have a couple of beers. I over hear this short guy with dark skin talking to a girl at the bar. He was trying to hit on her she was not having it and I am over hearing it all. Then he asks the girl did she hear about what happen to steph. So I really start to ease drop and he started to bad mouth her (steph) to a customer mind you. The girl shot him down right away and was that’s my girl and she is no bad person so please stop right thier. He did, however that is not how a manger or an owner should be (gossip girl) Grow up !!! Second this lady took care of me and family and friends and was always wonderful to us the only reason we would go back. The food is ok and depending on when you go it a cool place depending on who’s thier. Long story short get your act together and stop dogging on good people she was better then this place and did way more then the owner and manger. I will never go back and anyone one that she took care of should be upset, that they would even attempt to talk to them about her. Grow up Ridgewood ale house. The people that work thier don’t like working thier you treat them like shit. You don’t pay them on time and you don’t pay them overtime and that my friend we got from your bartenders who like to get drunk and talk about how the owner and what an arrogant bastard he is and screams at his employees and has made everyone thier cry. This is a business that should not be in business treating thier employees like that.

I came here to watch a Mets game. They turned it off in the 8^th inning so that they could show a soccer game that was already on 2 other TVs. Why would you send customers home early? What kind of «sports bar» can’t show more than 2 sports at once?

Good place to watch sports, upstairs is very spacious. Drinks were strong and service was good. The wings were disgusting to be honest but the rest of the food good… Overall had a good night out.

The only reason there’s 2 stars is because they came in the allotted time frame and the sweet potato fries were alright. All I ordered was a simple burger, and they somehow missed a quarter of the things I requested! I asked for avocado and I didn’t get any. Secondly, I asked for the burger to be medium rare, but I didn’t realize this place holds such terminology to the regard of «raw meat.» If I wanted to eat raw meat, I could’ve went to the supermarket to get it myself!

The food is mediocre. I’ve ordered a couple of times from here. My sweet potato fries were soggy. The burger was just okay. The vegetable soup is okay. But the worst offense was the Fettuccini Alfredo. It was unbelievably oily and that is all I can taste. Pasta was bland. Sauce was broken. Just horrible!

Solid place. Clean and simple. Big portions, large mugs, many TV screens, friendly staff. Has all the common denominator needs covered for a sports bar. Not ghetto at all. Management seems to be on top of cleanliness which is a huge +
Needed a place like this in the neighborhood.

We walked in as we were early and the birthday girl was on her way. The bar is on the first floor and they were playing music. We went upstairs and were greeted by the waitress Kat. She was very attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious! We had mozzarella sticks, coconut shrimp, sweet potato fries and chicken parmigiana. The drinks were okay, frozen drinks are not their forte. Get a Long Island, beer or sex on the beach! The music is a mix and they have flat screens to watch sports. My only issue were two children running up and down the stairs and around without any supervision. I will come back!

I was surprised by how spacious this spot was. I came in for a game and found plenty of screens to suit my fancy. Upstairs booths even have their own televisions. Beers were a little pricey, though the selection was stellar. I couldn’t figure out how to get seated at first, but this is probably because I freeze up whenever I enter a new restaurant and couldn’t figure out I just needed to walk up the stairs.
There’s a downstairs section too which I’m certain is equally as good as the upstairs and midlevels. Nice spot – will definitely be back.

Love the food and the servers skip and wish Stephanie was behind the bar but still had a great time

Get the Margherita pizza. It is absolutely amazing. The only time I’ve ever had an issue with it was when I had it delivered and it was left in the oven far too long, to the point where it was almost charcoal. One time out of over 10 that I’ve had it though is definitely not a big deal. Sh*t happens.
Otherwise, I was very disappointed in their entrées. I’ve had the linguine with garlic and oil and the pasta was definitely not cooked properly, most of it being very tough. The chopped steak is basically mid grade burger meat that is cooked very well and tastes deceivingly good while fresh and hot but quite unpleasant after it cools down.
Stick with the pizza, I’ve also heard their wings and empanadas are pretty good.
Sticking with 3 stars because of how good the pizza is and the place is always clean and well maintained.

I come here for the drinks and the staff members. Very wonderful crew that serves the best drinks…

I love this place cause of the affordable prices, location, hours and the proximity to my place. I ordered a burger which was okay (not out of this world like the place next door!) and my boyfriend ordered the philly chicken sandwich (which came with just onions, no peppers, WTF?).
Our server was cool but did seem new to the game. I had asked for water with lemon and he brought me water with lime. :/​I was too tired and hungover to ask for the lemon again so I just left it at that.
My favorite part of dining there were the sweet potato fries. I’ll definitely go back if I hear of any happy hour deals and to try some of their more intricate plates and drinks since I feel like our basic orders don’t justify a well rounded review.

Came here the other night since my friend lives close by and enjoyed some of the craft beers! I don’t know a lot about beer, so I asked the waitress who was very helpful and friendly. She recommended a really good citrusy one, sad I can’t remember what it was!
$ 5 beers during happy hour, so you can’t go wrong. Also got sweet potato fries which were pretty good.
Would definitely come back if I’m in the area!

Por fuera se ve como que es mexicano por dentro .es todo lo contrario este lugar es muy mal organizado nadien sabe lo que hace ya que todo mundo corre y nada mas solo corren he pasado en muchos lugares donde uno come muy desagradable, per este es uno de los peores lugares tex mex.
La razon por la que escribo esto es por que espere 20 min para una mesa. La actitud que te dan desde un principio es horrorosa todos los que estan de meseros esta muy mal encarados. Y muy apresurados y para colmo no se saben el menu y te recomiendan lo primero que se les viene ala cabeza. muy mal y si continua asi .ya saben.

Being that it’s so near my house it was inevitable not to try this place. Surprised it took me this long actually. There was no wait on a Friday evening and it was actually pretty busy once we got there.
We decided to sit upstairs — there were 2 waitress’s and 1 bus boy upstairs but somehow it felt like no one was there. It took them about 8mins to come to us clean the table and get us menus. After that another 10 mins to take our orders.
I ordered the blue Hawaiian to drink and my bf ordered the raspberry drink (sorry forgot the name) we ordered the app sampler (wings, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks and onion rings) and a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries.
First off, was actually impressed they had sweet potatoe fries on the menu ! Good choice and they were actually pretty good
Second — the food came out right away — which was great since we were really hungry.
The drinks were a great size for the price I felt like I got what I paid for.
I will def come back but def sit downstairs or at the bar where I feel the service might be better than upstairs.

Service is great bartender is wonderful food is very good .

Been waiting for this bar to open for months and finally had the chance to go for lunch yesterday. The co-​worker and I got the 16″ Prosciutto brick oven pizza with a side of balsamic vinaigrette. Nothing like Nicks Pizza in Forest Hills but it is a bar what can you expect and hey it was still good.
Our waitress seemed she was new to the position; I have no problems with a waiter approaching us to see if anything is ok but she approached us one to many times, she also seemed uncomfortable and not knowledgeable with the food options on the menu. I want to give it 2 stars but I give them an extra star for the fact that they just opened and there’s a lot of room for improvement.

It’s like a mad experiment where someone that knows nothing about opening a restaurant, opened a restaurant and was only allowed to hire people that had never been to a restaurant before. I would like to keep this short and sweet but I am afraid there is no way I can sufficiently review this place without going into some detail.
We had about 5 servers, which is ok in some restaurants where they have a system, but none of our servers knew about any of the others and none of them knew about any orders we had placed.
First of all, we had 5 people in our party. We all placed our orders at the same time. One order of nachos were ordered as an appetizer and we each ordered something else.
The first thing to come to the table was a pizza that one of us had ordered. Just his pizza, before the nachos. Then the nachos came and for a very long time these were the only two things on the table. Eventually the rest of our food came but it came in about 4 installments.
I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak, which comes with onions and peppers but I was told (I swear to god, I am not making this up) that it does not come with cheese, so I would have to be charged extra if I wanted cheese on my cheesesteak. And I was.
At one point we ordered a round of drinks, two different draft beers and one bottled beer. The server came upstairs with our drinks and just went around to every table asking if this was their order… there seems to be no table numbering system. When she finally got to us, she didn’t differentiate between the two draft beers and it seems as though they were exactly the same, so one of us didn’t get what we ordered, but it was beer so we drank it anyway.
Now to my cheesesteak (with cheese). As I said, it came with peppers and onions, but it was NOT STEAK. It wasn’t even steak like… it really seemed like it was shredded corned beef or pastrami or something. I ate it… to be fair, it didn’t taste all that bad… but I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak that contained no steak and I got charged extra for the cheese.
At one point one of our many waitress came over and asked if she could borrow our ketchup. She just gave it to another table and went on with her quit frankly confused and unorganized business. She never returned it so I had to flag down one of the other servers and ask for it to be replaced… which it was so well done there.
Now my favorite part is that one of the people at our table placed an order of onion rings and an order of potato skins. She got her onion rings as part of one of the installments of food being delivered to our table, but after 15 minutes she asked one of the servers about her potato skins. The reply was, and I am quoting verbatim, «Oh, we don’t have potato skins.» She did apologize for the confusion to be fair, but who took an order of something they didn’t have? One of the other clueless servers I would imagine, they are all a confusing blur in my head at this point.
When the bill came, we were charged for extra cheese twice, once for my cheesesteak which I had already conceded to, but again for a sandwich which didn’t have cheese. Minor infraction but then we looked a little further down the menu… and. … you guessed it… CHARGED FOR POTATO SKINS! =)

The place was pretty packed with adults as well as with children.
Nice music and T. V’s every where. Our Waiter was Martin and he was very informative about the food and gave a lot of good suggestions.
Food…
We ordered sweet and sour hot wings, which were not hot, sweet or sour, as a matter of fact the wings were room temperature. (not a good thing)
Ordered the loaded nachos which were also room temperature bordering on cold. (Yuk)
Ordered the meat lover’s pizza which was hot (temp) but tasted like a frozen pizza from Stop and Shop’s frozen section (think DiGiorno) the red sauce was tasty but the meat on the pizza was processed meat not fresh at all.
Drinks… Blue Hawaiian of which we requested the drinks be made strong was not made strong at all! What we got instead tasted like a Blue Slurpee you would get from 7 – 11.
Also wanted to mention there was an Albanian gentelman there busting tables who came by to clean our table and advised us that He had a real Job and that he was just their helping out his uncle since his uncle is one of the business partners and he happened to have had experience with this line of work from his younger years and that all the workers there were Lazy and just standing around getting paid by the hour! What a turn off !
This was such a disheartening thing to say and hear and made me disgusted with ever returning here as I assume that is how the owners of this business must feel about the local help they hired!
I do hope they get it together because I was actully looking forward to being a regular. Menu is loaded with lots of options but food does not measure up.
I am not a happy customer at this time. Hopefully it will improve.
