What a terrible place, dirty and dingy inside, manager is rude, the waiter was definitely either drunk or high on something. He dropped the glasses of water when he reached or table and was barely able to properly place the other glasses on our table. When we asked to sit outside they refused and said they stop seating at 9pm on a Saturday summer night UNHEARDOF. When we left I asked the manager who was attending to a table outside who pretended not to hear me, without even me asking my question about whether it was true that seating ended at 9 Je turns and says we are not seating outside anymore and walks inside the bar. What a rude bastard. I would never go to this disgusting place ever again. We ended up going to park west tavern and had a nice dinner and time.

Awful service and crap food. The service was super slow. Their Mac and cheese on the kids menu is right out of the Kraft box. Seriously? I mean it says Kraft Mac and cheese but you would like you would at least attempt to make your own. We ordered French onion soup to go and it came out in two small cups. I asked the extremely nervous and clueless waitress if they had soup containers but they do not. She said this is how it is. Seriously save your money and eat somewhere else in Ridgewood. The only reason this place is still in business is because it is one of the only places with a bar.

Stopped in for a quick sunday lunch only because Memoire was having a private party today. What a bad idea. The wings are amazing but the rest of the food is mediocre at best. They can’t cook a burger without charging it to death, the fish tacos were a bow full of mush. The worst part about this place was the service. Our waitress was awful. Messed up two out of three orders and let us sit here for ever waiting for water or to clean the table. The place was empty and it was a chore to get our check. Not sure why this place is called the office but based on our visit just like the TV series this office should be canceled. $ 6.50 for a blue moon draft on a sunday??? Guess they have to pay the Ridgewood rent. Recently went back to the Office with my family and the owner made sure everything was prepared properly. I would highly recommend the Office and the owner is very involved and compassionate about taking care of his customers. We will return.

The Office is a wonderful community partner to Ridgewood and an employer of adults with autism. Hugh, the manager has created a «Cheers”-like environment where it always feels like I’m coming home. Menu standouts for my family are the soft pretzels, wings, grilled cheese and burgers. Tip: avoid the night before Thanksgiving

Absolutely disappointing. After eating here id rather be working at an office, it would be twice as enjoyable as this slop. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much considering the 2.5 average star review from other Unilocalers but I was optimistic. With a name like the office, I wasn’t really sure what to expect, what I found was just under par. It should be renamed the bathroom because of the dump that I was served. I ordered a grilled cheese and opted for avocado instead of bacon which the staff was able to swap for me. It was served with the soup of the day, Spicy sweet potato. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect of sweet potato soup, but this gloop I was served looked and tasted like baby food! This dish was a mess(see photo)! Honestly, it was a joke. The grilled cheese was cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted… The bottom of the dish was greasy, everything was just poor. To top the sandwich off, it had some weird plasticy bit in it that I couldn’t chew, our waitress informed me that it was cheese… I think not, perhaps a cheese wrapper. I didn’t see anyone who worked in an office there and I doubt anyone that works in an office would enjoy this food. If you want to eat here, stop at the bar first because the only way you’re going to enjoy it is if you are inebriated. Barf.

Came here on a Saturday night about 6PM. Table of 4. We ordered drinks which took over 20 minutes to get. Before dinner came we ordered a second round because the first round took so long. We were almost through dinner still no drinks. I had to go up and speak to the manager and we finally got our drinks. The waitress said it was the bartender and we tended to believe her as she seemed like a good waitress. The funny thing is the people we were with had been to the Ridgewood restaurant and they said it took them 45 minutes to get drinks there. The only reason they stayed is that they knew the band that was playing. Would not go back.

Came to the bar for a bite and a few drinks on 3⁄16. Kelly at the bar was phenomenal. She recommended a beer called«Fat Tire» that was brand new on draft. Great recommendation. She was very personable, whIch made my experience a great one. Their crab dip in a bread bowl is delicious. Ribs are top notch too. Definitely will visit again and recommend it to everyone.

Stay away!!! I can’t even review the food because after 10 – 15 minutes it never even got that far. Place was empty at dinner time, and that’s never good sign. We were seated in the booth/table opposite the bar area and once we received our water and soda that were ordered, we never saw our waiter again. The worst part is I was looking at the bar area where there were at least 3 – 4 staff members and trying to distract at least one of them just to ask to find our waiter, but even they didn’t want to be bothered, so we walked out. You don’t have to look to far to see why this place has only two stars.

I returned here over the summer after being here years ago. I remembered it being much better than it was. Food and service was decent but drinks were pretty weak. The main reason for my 2 star deduction is due to the fact that the place was filthy. They lowered the leaves on a round table for my party of 4 so we wouldn’t be so far from one another. When they lowered the leaves, you could tell that those creases hadn’t been cleaned in months if not years. They attempted to clean the table a little but it was still sticky… gross!

They have a solid rotation of craft beers. Every time I come here there is something new for me. People working here are friendly and responsive. This is a great place and I like coming here.

A big, bar and restaurant; a great place to watch sports games. The food is diner-ish but my go-to order are the wings. They are AMAZING! My favorite is the ginger teriyaki. They have a pretty great craft beer selection too. Keep it up!

I can’t say enough good things about the office. Doug, the bartender is one of my favorite people and always gives amazing service. The lettuce wraps are amazing and I order them all the time. I feel so at home here and owe that to the amazing staff and pleasant atmosphere.

Probably the loudest Office I have been to. There is always a lot of people here at night for beer. The burger here is oddly better than at East Coast but otherwise, the food here is just OK as per the rest of their locations.

My boyfriend and I aren’t big drinkers, so we just went to grab a bite to eat. The stacked quesadilla(appetizer) was SO good. You really get your money’s worth with all the fillings they stuff inside it along with the small cups of guac, sour cream, and salsa that accompany it. Probably the best quesadillas I’ve ever ordered, and for that alone, I’m willing to give 2 stars. But it all went downhill from there. We also got the Mediterranean Hummus Board as an appetizer. The roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella that it came with were good, but the hummus and pita itself were okay. Not worth $ 10. My boyfriend got the California burger(cooked medium rare) with regular fries and I got the Mushroom burger(cooked medium) with sweet potato fries. We both finished our fries, but the potato rolls that the burgers were on were too soft and hardly toasted and the burgers themselves were bland and dry. I needed to ask for BBQ sauce to drown my burger in, and even then, I couldn’t will myself to finish the thing. I have a rule — if I need to drown any type of meat(burgers, steak, chicken) in sauce for it to taste good, it isn’t worth finishing. The service wasn’t very good either. Our waiter was nice, but not very attentive. The only thing I’d ever come back for are the quesadillas.

Typical american pub in the area… great food and large location for large parties. My favorite thing about this restaurant is their ranch. I am a huge condiment lover and something about the ranch The Office has is just not comparable to any ranch I have ever had before. My friend and I will literally just go here to get our ranch fixing. My go to dinner is the grilled cheese with waffle fries and a side of ranch… you can’t go wrong!

Oh good it isn’t just me! This has to be one of the most frustrating bars in the area. You really really want this place to be legit, but there’s just nothing positive about the place other than«it exists, it has beer, and it’s close». Before I get into the cons, the few actual pros is that they have solid wings and a good assortment of craft beers. Now to the cons. . Very expensive beers. Other than a few cheap promotional nights, this place is way overpriced for a local bar. This isn’t Manhattan. Service is head scartchingly slow. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to order beers from the bar and it somehow taking 10+minutes. This is a small restaurant bar, how is that possible? ? The food is extremely mediorcre. I don’t think I’ve ever had a memorable meal here before. Sprinkle in the fact that the crowd is only uppity bergen county jerks. you have yourself a losing bar. They USED to have an awesome, original style trivia game a few years ago, with an awesome enthusiastic host… but that’s been gone for a while
