Great food, great serving sizes, friendly and prompt service. The music is good and the place gives off chill vibes. The prices are very reasonable as well. Definitely check this place out.

Very pleasant atmosphere. The food was great! Would really make it better if they would have a spicier hot sauce.

Just discovered my new happy place. Mojitos on the patio in summer. Twinkling lights, bamboo shades, pumping Cumbia music, and unbelievable roasted chicken with arroz & frijoles, fresh avocado salad, and fried plantains. Will come back again and again.

Great food and service, the environment is inviting and the attention to detail of the décor and food is a welcome sight for this type of food. The chicken is always tender, juicy and fresh, I have tried a few in the area, but keep coming back to Super Pollo.

Sangria is awesome… Also pretty inexpensive. The feied rice is my favorite dish. I always get a combo for my family. Ask for extra of the white sauce… It goes well on all of the food. Come here when you didnt cook dinner, dont feel like going out to a fancy place, or sick of chinese food.

Me and three coworkers decided to try this place for lunch on a Friday because of the reviews and how close it was to our job. When we got there around 1PM there was no line for take out. Staff was friendly and we only waited 10 – 15 minutes for all of our orders to come out. When we received our individual bagged orders it turns out they they accidentally switch all of the entrees, so my coworker ended up with mine and I had someone else’s, ect. Not a huge deal since I got what I wanted but just double check before you leave. All lunch specials are $ 9.50 and come with the main protein, side, soup or salad and a soda. I got the carne asada with yellow rice and beans, avocado salad and an Inca Cola. My coworkers all got different things, one got the chuleta and he commented on how soft it was. Another got the pernil and had to take half of it home. Lastly one got the quarter chicken and loved it. As others have said the green sauce is the bomb, we even requested extra just in case. My carne asada was cooked PERFECTLY and super tender. SOFULL. In hindsight I probably shouldn’t have tried to eat all of it in one sitting… #foodbabystruggles

Super Pollo is super consistent. Fast efficient delivery but the real treat is eating in the restaurant! The servers are very attentive and quick. While you wait for your remarkably affordable roasted chicken combos, they serve warm tortilla chips as an appetizer with their homemade pico de gallo with a hint of salt and lime. Don’t forget to order the Yuca fries or Cassava on the menu. Delicious with the green sauce! Also they just got a liquor license! I can’t wait to try a cocktail on my next visit!

Breaded chicken was nice and golden, but paper thin(check pictures). I actually laughed. Mashed potatoes tasted like water, really bad(maybe I am naïve expecting real potatoes from a restaurant). Avocado salad was nice and fresh, with good selection of veggies. But the shameless saving pattern continues as I have never seen avocado sliced so thin. It’s a shame, because there is potential, but based on my experience I’d not recommend it, neither will I come back. Just charge more and serve proper food, customers are not stupid.

Consistently great. Their chicken is succulent and so flavorful. That green sauce can make anything taste fantastic. Cheese empanada is delicious. It always feels like you’ve had a comforting home cooked meal after eating from super pollo. Absolutely delicious.

Good food for a small budget and best when going with friends so you can share extra sides. Service was fine for being rather busy. I would definitely go back for their really good lunch specials.

Amazing Hispanic soul food, will recommend it always, specially now that they have a full bar with amazing specialty cocktails(it’s not just sangría only!!!) Paloma Ecuatoriana and Spicy Super Pollo Mezcalero in my heart for now on.

Had takeout from this place today and can’t believe I haven’t tried this place earlier! My wife and I had the arroz con camarones y tostones and an order of the calamari. The arroz con camarones y tostones was great, especially the taste of the shrimp. The rice itself was nothing spectacular as a stand alone but once you put a little bit of their green sauce, AWESOME. The calamari was standard calamari but not as greasy as most local places so very pleased and their marinara sauce was thinner than most and had a wonderful taste that I can’t quite put a description to(sorry Unilocalers– just try it!) Will definitely be on the short list for lunch for the wife and I.

I ordered from here after reading all of these great reviews and I’m here now to tell you that it’s true, this place is amazing! Get the green sauce, spend the 6 bucks. It’s so freakin good. Everyone talks about the chicken and I definitely plan on ordering that next time but this time I got the churrasco meal which came with french fries, a side of white rice and a piece of avocado. The portion was great, it lasted 3 nights and that’s why the pint of green sauce is essential!!! Can’t wait to try the rotisserie chicken and get more green sauce. This is definitely my new go-to place!

Their food is usually sooo good. I got home from a long day of work, no time to cook so I couldn’t wait to order my food. I was looking forward to it as always. But my pernil was kind of raw in one spot and has a weird odor. I didn’t realize until I ate a bunch. I hope I don’t get sick. Maybe it was because I ordered so late. But it just want the same

Gentrification rolls through neighborhoods like waves, the changes of few blocks to the west reverberating further and further east. So it is with Williamsburg, where the pressures on the waterfront, with ambitious multinationals gobbling up large pieces of the real estate, have effected the roast chicken scene miles inland. My longtime favorite for pollo asado, Pollos USA, closed and reopened twice in rapid succession, finally remerging as the haplessly upmarket Caridad. Prices doubled, sending me over the border to Ridgewood for an alternative. Super Pollo doesn’t have the advantage of being two blocks from my house, but it is just a short cycle away. The crowd on a recent Sunday was almost entirely Latino. Super Pollo is Mexican, although the asado scene is strong in that country, most of the places offering this type of food in New York are run by people from Andean countries(Colombia, Peru) or Spanish-speaking places in the Caribbean(the Dominican Republic). Honestly, it’s hard to taste the geographic differences in the final product. This isn’t the NoMad, where the bird comes stuffed with foie gras. The test here is whether the chicken meat is juicy and flavorful when served, and this passed the test. Beans and rice are the go-to sides here, and while the butteriness of the rice doesn’t hold up to the very best days of Pollos, perhaps that means that this is meal is slightly less of a calorie bomb.(Free chips are served before the meal, which is something you’ll never see in a Colombian chicken place.) Until this place starts marinating the chicken with kimchi or placing star anise on the table, this is poultry winner just over the Brooklyn border.
