Homewood Suites

This is a older property. Maintenance is lacking. Simple stuff like sagging shower curtains, stained wallpaper, dirty air filters and worn furniture. I have stayed here 3 times in 2 weeks due to the excellent staff. I can overlook the older building in favor of unbelievable great service.
I will return.

Stayed here during the Jackson Rhythm and Blues fest. Let me start by saying I booked early and got a 2BR suite for a nice price — almost the price for a 1BR non-​suite at most hotels. I received a welcome email around check-​in time and there was a personalized note waiting on the table when we arrived. It was basically welcoming us and asking us to call if we needed anything. Front desk was very friendly both during check-​in and check-​out. Housekeeping was extremely pleasant also.
The room was nice and clean. I didn’t like the layout of one of the bedrooms. The bedroom door opened up to the vanity so I had to close the door when using the vanity area. It should have been installed to open the other way and maybe placed a door stop to prevent damage to the wall. The living room furniture was rather worn. Overall though it was a nice stay for some family fun. Other families enjoyed the pool and the grill on the patio. They literally had a pool party. Fun, food and parties on the patio.
The area is nice and you are close to many things as far as dining, recreation and shopping. I’ve stayed in other hotels in the area before but I think I will be staying with Homewood again during my next visit to Jackson.
