Do not let the look of this place fool you.
Excellent fish, shrimp, oysters…
Almost shockingly economical. We figure it is half what we used to pay in the Florida Keys.
Plus, the young woman running the show is very friendly. In most fish places, my experience is that they are always yelling at you. Not here.
We bought a half bushel of Oyster clusters last time and they were superb.
I say stop in and check it out.

Looks can be deceiving.
I went here in search of shrimp after reading the review on the way from hilton head to edisto.
It seemed like a hole in the wall, prices were just ok but the shrimp were very good.
I cooked a pound of head on in a low country boil and sauteed a pound in garlic and butter, absolutely delicious.

Incredible quality and great prices. They guys at capt Mikes blue water seafood have all worked as commercial fishermen and know what they are doing. Easy to stop coming to or from Hilton head. Do not pay high prices on island and quality is not as good either. Easy detour off 95. I just loaded up coming back from Jacksonville, FL to Charlotte. Their fish is so fresh you don’t even have the fishy smell. I just prepped a hand cut salmon filet and some grouper and you could not even smell i had 6 lbs of fish out in the kitchen :) I won’t stop again at the tourist traps on HHI.
