This was my first visit and I’m very impressed! The staff was friendly and attentive, but not too attentive. We got our drinks quickly, and our dos was fresh, so it was worth a small wait. If we had ordered an appetizer, we probably wouldn’t have finished it before they brought out our food.(They have fried pickles!) my husband got the sonic boom burger and it was amazing! The party was huge, tender, and juicy. I got the turkey minis(build your own) and they were great! The hand cut fries were very good too. It wasn’t too crowded, either, and they have live music outside on Fridays! We didn’t want to brave the cold, but we will definitely enjoy live music when it warms up! We may just come back to watch the Super Bowl!

Today I experienced the worst service ever. Last April I went here for my birthday with a party of 51 people and I had excellent service. Everything was amazing and it was one of my best birthdays ever. Today I went with a party of 21 and everything was horrible!!! I overheard that there has recently been a manger change since I had my party and it is pretty believable because every time we asked to speak to a manager, we were shut down and ignored by the workers. Majority of the waiters had nasty and bad attitudes and said things that crossed the line. It took our food, even appetizers about 55 minutes to come out and some food did not come out at all which upsetted us dearly. Several of us had to send our food back 2⁄3 times because they kept messing the orders up. They also claimed that they ran out of something just to get rid of pickles that they made a mistake on and ended up having the item again 1 minute after that. They were rude liars. I did not even get to enjoy my friend’s party and I will never be attending this restaurant again.

Came across this place by accident and thought I’d give it a try. Décor is bland, nothing special. Place was relatively clean, no complaints there. Everyone their was very nice and very attentive. Great service. They blues through the speakers and feature live music on some nights although I’m not sure which nights. I ordered the bbq burger and sweet potato fries. The fries were frozen, not fresh cut. They were not that tasty. I had to put ketchup on them to make them edible. The burger was fine but nothing special. I had to ask for extra sauce because they barely put any bbq sauce on the burger. All in all, it was average. My meal plus a bud light cost $ 17. It’s an ok place, nothing special. Good service but the food needs some work. You expect a place with burger in its title to serve better burgers.

Great for lunch blue plate, but a bit pricey at dinner. They have a wide selection of craft and local beer. The food is always good and plenty of it. This is a great casual place to grab lunch or meet for dinner or happy hour. Some of the beer pricing is higher than similar restaurants. I give Georgia Blue a solid four for the quality and consistency of the food and beer selection.

Went to karaōke night last night and it was a really fun time. My server Ivan was awesome. I had the Pineapple Express burger and it was okay. I enjoyed my friend’s buffalo wings and fried mushrooms a lot more. Oh and the 27oz fat tires were nice.

Friendly and attentive service however the food was awful. My husband had the BnB burger, bum was stale and too large for burger size, tomato and lettuce wilted and the meat was over cooked. The garden burger had the same problem with the bun, and it was tasteless. Apparently this was a great place but not this afternoon.

I had a good experience here. I went for supper on a Friday night, and was immediately seated. I got the fried pickles as an appetizer and they came out very fresh and perfectly crispy. I got the Lea and Perrins burger on sourdough and it was cooked medium well(their standard) and it was tasty! House cut fries were the automatic side, but their onion rings looked awesome! The environment felt a little fast-foodish but the patio outside looked like it’d be perfect for a Fall night, as there were more people outside than inside. Next time, I’ll be sure to try a milkshake!

Waited an hour and a half for any piece of food to come to the table! When it finally came, we still did not have any silverware. My husband ordered a handle of beer for $ 8 and only got it half way full. When they tried to give him the rest of the beer, they charged him for a second full handle. When the bill came, the waiter argued with us on why we should be charged for 2. Another meal at the table was completely left off the ticket, he waited 2hrs for a club sandwich. The manager said the meal wasn’t on the ticket, the waiter said it was and blamed it on the kitchen. A waiter should know if his table hadn’t received their food after and hour and a half. Worst restaurant experience ever.

Service was poor and we had a long wait to get mediocre food. We won’t be back. The band was way too loud to be able to hear people at our own table. I complained to management and they didn’t even apologize. There are much better burger places in Ridgeland.

Some of the best burgers and milkshakes in town! I’ve eaten here more times than I can count, and each time has been great. I love the Lea & Perrins burger with a chocolate milkshake. Our service is always great and the waiters are kind. Burger’s and Blues also has an enormous, covered outside patio with fans for the summer and heaters in the winter. They also have live music on many weekends.

Thanks for messing up my to go order. Got home excited to try the debris fries and to my surprise, I opened a box of soggy nachos. Idiots. Should have known this order to be bad after I told the waitress my phone number three times over the phone. If you get a to go order, check it before you leave!

Great staff. Good Music. Hamburger was precooked. Cold to warm. Fries were like they were precooked and sat under a warming light. I have been here many times… first time I am not happy.

Mediocre is the name of the game at Burgers and Blues. We’ve been here a couple of times, and neither time were we impressed. Burgers were burnt, portions small and service was lacking. With 5 other tables, it took us around 1.5 hours to be served. They’re are several better options in Jackson for a good burger. We might go back one day, but certainly won’t be in a hurry.

This restaurant has become a favorite of mine!!! The food is always great and they also have some nice healthier options! The entire staff is always friendly and very conforming to any request. I have had every burger on the menu and each one is VERY good!!! They will all fill you up! My favorite currently is the Hwy 61. The appetizers are very good and very well portioned. The milkshakes are AMAZING!!! Burgers and Blues has an awesome bar with a very good selection of drafts. It is also very family friendly with an amazing deck! It is one of the few places in town that still has karaōke!!! I HIGHLY recommend you check it out!!!

The Restaurant To start, the location is a little out of the way but a good little oasis amidst the mess and chaos of County Line Road. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Everyone seemed uncommonly professional for a Jackson/Ridgeland restaurant. It was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was nice. Wide open spaces with lots of comfortable seating and a huge dining patio. Plenty of TVs and an interactive trivia game(TapTV) to distract when your date/wife/kids are dragging on about something. The Food The fried pickles were very good. Someone had mentioned that they were really thin but I prefer that over too thick. The $ 6 price tag was reasonable as well given the tiny mountain(large hill?) of pickles. The burger was nothing special. I got the build your own with American cheese and a fried egg. If you haven’t put a fried egg on your hamburger you haven’t lived. The egg was prepared perfectly but the burger seemed like it was a large, direct from the freezer, patty. Not juicy and just a little to salty. Not bad, mind you, just not quite right. The bun was in the latest popular style being very thick and overpowering the burger completely. I took the top off and ate it open-faced. My plea to B&B and Mugshots and the rest: Why can’t I just have a sesame bun. Lightly grilled or even toasted? Why the potato, sourdough, whatever, rolls? Just enriched white bread with sesame seeds. I’ll even bring my own if that is acceptable. Conclusion It’s okay. I would not make the trip down County Line again for their burgers. Really it would be a 3 star for me if not for the excellent service and the Military discount. Support our troops!

Three stars because I came on Karaōke night, and there was a bunch of school kids singing Taylor Swift. I felt like I was listening to Kidz Bop or something. It was hella loud I felt like I was sitting in the school cafeteria and not at a cool hip joint that I thought it was going to be. Food isn’t really that good either. The blue cheese and bacon burger was too dry. I don’t think I would get that again. The fried mushrooms were good, it comes with a tangy horseradish sauce. The fried okra was unforgettable. Normally I wouldn’t come back to a place like this, however, they had watermelon beer which was delicious, and the wait staff was attentive. I’d give this place another try for sure.

Well Ive experienced both the burger and the blues today. The blues came after we tasted the food. We ordered the debris fries with pulled pork and after a few bites had enough. It was very disappointing to put it nicely. The real blues came when we tried the burgers. Im pretty sure they are the frozen kind since they looked and tasted like it. They only come cooked one temp(well done) too. The cheddar cheese was the processed slice type similiar to american. It was the quality of a $ 5 playground burger if not worse. My husband paid .75 extra for jalapenos on his burger and he received two. 2 stars: Our server was very nice and accomodating. The atmosphere was unique and fun. The burger challenge– 3lb burger, 1lb fries and a milk shake– was def a conversational piece. Negative 3 stars: overpriced for poor food quality($ 10 burgers $ 8 apps) and I immediately had stomach issues afterwards even after only eating half a burger. My advice would be to come for the real blues music and forget the burger.

I found this place through TVFOOD Maps from Man VS Food and I was totally pleased. Beyond the giant burger challenge there is a diverse menu that can appeal to everyone. When you order a burger you have a choice of several sides including a fantastic Mac n Cheese. The other notable item were the sweet potato tots, an ample portion any a fair price. Price point in General is fair across the board. Situated in the corner of a small strip all it was a little tough to find a parking spot but this is a sign of the popularly of Burgers and Blues. The indoor dining area and bar at large wide open and very comfortable. There is an outdoor area that is covered and has ceiling fans I didn’t eat there this visit bit it looks great out there. The server staff and hostess are excellent and make you feel right at home. This is the song of the south and I always appreciate how polite friendly and obliging the people are down here. Even with my gruff mob like NJ vocal pattern and Tony Soprano look I’m treated like I’m visiting a persons home. This is a place I would frequent often if I was a local. It’s close enough to the airport to chow down before you drive off to your final destination. I complete recommend this place for a great tasting and creative burger. A couple cold ones and some great blues music.

Great burger, fries & shake in a relaxed sports-bar setting. Plenty of burger options from which to choose, along with the quintessential daily«blue-plate» special. Back to the burgers, which is why you’re here, right? I went for the bacon blue burger, which was very good. The best burger, ever? Umm, no, but pretty damned good, for the price. The fries were great, and the Heath milkshake… oh, yeah! I’d try the Butterfinger next time, just to mix things up.
