Egg Supreme was excellent. All 3 of us ordered it and loved it. Service was great and helpful. It was my first time there and I hadn’t idea what the 20 different bagel types were. 1 star reduction for not having a little sign on the basket to identify the bagel. This seem like an obvious and necessary amenity to have when they all look the same. Through my eyes, all I could see was a chocolate bagel, a blueberry bagel, and 18 regular bagels.

This review is not about the food but about the management. For the second Sunday in a row I drove 30 minutes to get a bagel with lox and cream cheese only to be told (again) that they had run out of lox! This time the counter person admitted that they had actually run out Saturday. Seriously? The manager couldn’t be bothered to resupply the store in preparation for Sunday? At a bagel place?!

The perfect morning study café on the weekend. Bagels are of course perfectly done with so much to choose from. Also available are the palinis for breakfast since I don’t get the chance to try out their lunch because of work. Opens early on the weekend, 8am on Sunday. The coffee selection is great with 4 – 5 flavors. You are welcome to grab a second cup and sometimes I can’t help myself trying out a second flavor. Very comfortable booth seats on the side of the café. Plenty of seats all around. With Sunday as my reading day I find my self so productive here for hours and feeling accomplished after I leave.

They busted out 30 Togo boxed meals for me in 1 hour! And so nice about it too. Great place and very accommodating. Lots of space inside too if you have a group would you.

In my opinion, the only place in Mississippi to get a decent bagel. Since my move to Florida nearly 18 years ago, I know they’ve now opened a couple of other locations in the jackson area. How wonderful! But, this is the original.
Mississippi isn’t a place known for their bagels. Heck, they don’t even have bagels on the menu at McDonald’s in this state. Not that I’m surprised.
They make their bagels fresh here daily and you can certainly tell. They have a wide array of flavours. The ones I have tried have been outstanding. Whenever I’m visiting family in Mississippi and craving a bagel, this is where I come. Yep, I make the hike all the way to Ridgeland from Pearl to the original restaurant.

Food was good but service was not. I am usually very kind and understanding because this is a hard job with little reward but not this time. There was no line but service was very slow. The reason… the server was complaing about the customer before me that remarked that they needed additional help because they were so slow. There were only two people at the counter. One making bagels and the other running the cashier.

I visited here on one occasion and was not overly impressed. The place looks a bit dingy, and I was not pleased that the drink cooler was almost completely out of drinks. The bagel I had was good. But as an out-​of-​towner, I see little reason to return to this café next time I come to Jackson.

Beagle bagel café is a cute small bagel bar, but I think I came with too high of expectations given some of these other reviews. Service was subpar and almost made me feel like I was a burden. But seriously, repeating my order 3 times? Followed with exasperated sighs and a frown? And their machine for café au lait is broken? :(
The only redeeming factor was that the bagel tasted okay.

Great place to eat in ridgeland. Fresh food, good service and fair price. Had a delicious salad for 3.50. Everyone raved about the chicken salad which I will get the next time I am in ridgeland. Hubby had the ruben sandwich and marinated veggies. Very good. Will definetly try the bagels. The bagel thins were excellent. Lots of folks from the tennis tournament were earting lunch here.

Beagle Bagel is a god send in a land of biscuits and gravy. My favorite is the Lox Lover’s on an everything bagel. Its a great place to have lunch. Their chicken salad is known throughout Jackson as the best. Kid’s love beagle bagel too!

Finding a bagel bar this morning was AMAZING.
I was so psyched to find a place where I could eat some lox and sit in a nice café atmosphere for breakfast. They had quite a bit on their menu (besides the 25 or so different kinds of bagels). My niece got a chicken panini that was really good… They had a lot of different kinds…
I would totally go here again. It’s one of the only non-​chain restaurants around here that you can eat breakfast too.

Beagle Bagel has a solid bagel and cream cheese selection. My personal favorite is the pumpernickel bagel with chive cream cheese and sliced tomato.
They have great coffee and a great lunch menu as well. The chicken salad is excellent, my personal lunch favorite
My only complaint is that they aren’t really consistent with how much cream cheese they put on the bagel. Usually it’s way too much and i end up scraping half of it off.
Overall, a great choice for breakfast or lunch.
