Update: I too was a customer of Jenny’s Nails. Not a competitor. It is a little different for me because believe it or not, Asians don’t treat Asians well. While Sarah is smiling at you, you don’t understand what she is saying about you, do you? Hate to tell you, but I understood what she was saying about her customers. And how she yells at her employees.

I have to agree with Tuna’s comments. I went here for years — including when the soft spoken refined Jenny ran it. I did try to hang in here. The manicures and pedicures are fine and the staff nice and the place is clean. But I just could not bear hearing Sarah screaming all the time. Example: if you have been absent for a couple of weeks and she sees you come in, Sarah begins to shriek «where you been?!»

In a town where nail salons are a dime a dozen, you really have to stand out to be the best. In trying most of what’s to offer and in my humble opinion, Nails by Jenny is the best! Without fail, I leave feeling refreshed, calm, and beautiful! Sarah (owner) is fantastic– organized and so dedicated. Hands down AWESOME nail techs who are meticulous and give the greatest massages! You’ve tried the rest, now try the best!

ive been here about 5 times and all of those experiences are wonderful. They did a very good job on my nails and customer service. definitely recommend this place. i dont think this place is pricy but sometimes you get what you pay for. People might have different situations and experiences but i enjoyed every single visit.

I have been here about four times and I find myself questioning why I return each time. The owner (I think?) means well but she is quite abrasive to customers and employees. The employees seem unhappy there is no joy in the salon. Not particularly nice or clean. So many better options in Ridgefield.

I totally agree with Karen O. I have been a a patron of Nails by Jenny for over 10 years also. Sarah and her staff have always been professional. The manicures and pedicures are wonderful. Yes, folks with appointments get first priority over walk ins but not because they are spending more. This is the only nail salon I patronize in Ridgefield as they treat me with kindness and respect and ALWAYS do a great job.
I am suspect about Tuna H’s review as it has been widely reported in the media that competing businesses write negative reviews in order to gain business for themselves.
Sarah, you run a fine, clean establishment with competent wonderful employees.

I give this salon a three because I was cheated by them. Ive been getting brazillian wax from them for over two years now and although the price list has lower price the owner have been charging me more. Obviously I dont have an issue paying the higher price but I feel robbed. I would suggest ask to see the price list before you have any service done. Overall Jackie does awesome waxing job. I cant bring myself to go back there.
