My favorite food truck in town! Delicious dogs that fill you up! Quality ingredients, and large portions. I love that they are open often, and participate in city events. They are super friendly and serve up the best gourmet dogs in town!

OK this place is a much needed lunch break from the regular places in ridgecrest. Very fast and great price. Crazy mutt is amazing as well as the nacho dog. Every time I go I try something different and have never been disappointed. Going back asap. Check Facebook they post the weekly locations. Great family business.

I was so excited when I saw the food truck at the old west days and told my hubs we had to try it(mainly because of all the positive reviews). All the dogs are served on a pretzel bun, which I wasn’t too thrilled about, so I decided to just take a bite or two of my hubs dog. He order the street dog, which was a pretzel dog topped off with saurkraut(?) and dijon mustard. It was an okay dog but the bun to meat ratio is off and definitely didn’t think it was worth $ 6.25. The dogs are way over priced. And I just don’t get all the hype…

Got the Crazy Mutt today. I can’t believe that this place calls itself a hot dog vendor. These are not hot dogs; these creations are far beyond what the meager name«hot dog» implies. This was a meal that took a lot more attention and detail to dream up and make than something that can be purchased at the local hot dog chain down the street. Don’t get me wrong, fast food hot dog joints that sell schnitzels have their place, but the Dog Haus doesn’t belong in the same category. The presentation is appealing, with an almost artistic flair, and the flavors that have been coupled together are complimentary and imaginative. The couple of gals who work in there are also peaches. It seemed to me as an onlooker that they are not just interested in selling people a meal, but making them feel appreciated as customers. Each person was greeted with a smile and treated like a friend. This place gets my highest review yet. It’s not a swanky wine bar in Manhattan, or a specialty seafood establishment on the beaches of Maui. What it is, well, go there for yourself. You’ll see. It’s a one of a kind rolling restaurant that has coupled good food with great personality. It’s just what Ridgecrest has needed for a very long time.

I love this food truck! The owner remembered my name after my very first time and always greets me by name and with a smile. Menu items are freshly cooked to order, the price is spot on, portions are not meager and food is Delicious! Wait time is very reasonable. I can’t imagine anyone giving this place less than 5 stars!

I absolutely love The Dog Haus. I’ve been there about 3 – 4 times and every time it is amazing. The food is fresh and tastes wonderful. The ladies that work the windows are some of the nicest that I’ve ever met. I tell everyone about this truck because it is amazing. So many different choices and great service with a friendly smile, nothing is better. If I can step away from my favorite, the lucky dog(beef frank topped with pastrami) then I will be able to try the other amazing dogs they feature.

Yeah, I’m doing it. I’m giving 5 stars to a food truck. I feel like a rebel, but I also feel The Dog Haus deserves it. Here’s why: 1. Food — Not only do they have a great variety of hot dogs(with different bun choices, different sausage choices, different topping choices) they are always trying new things and putting out limited editions that are also fantastic. I’m the kind of person that goes to places and try different things until I sort of settle and then I tend to get the same thing every time I’m there, but I don’t do this at The Dog Haus. At The Dog Haus I get something different every time because while I’m standing in line and reading the descriptions on the menu I have the hardest time deciding what I want! Today they were set up for a special event going on the park and I had the Street Dog with a Polish Sausage on a Pretzel Bun. It was outstanding, but I have to give the edge to the Frito Fido(beef frank topped with their own chili, cheddar cheese, onions and fritos, wrapped up in a french roll), which I had earlier in the week. The portions are generous so I’m usually full after just a dog and a soda(and they have IWV Brewery sodas to boot!) but I’m told their potato salad is ridiculously good, so I’ll have to try that sometime as well. 2. Service — When it comes to a food truck service is a state of mind and an attitude. The people who run The Dog Haus remember their customers after just a few visits, are always friendly and open with suggestions and a kind word. 3. Location — Yeah, that’s right — location. They are parked right beside Leroy Jackson park. On a good day you get your hot dog and park yourself at a park table and just soak up the food and the weather. So good… If it is a windy day, you can call your order in(they encourage this on their FaceBook page which they keep updated constantly — ). I just love this little place and I want it to keep getting lots of great attention.

This was my first time at the dog haus but it will not be my last(de-danmlishous) Mom, Kaern, Phil are the nicest people, ohhh the food … they have a wide variation of the way the prepare there hot dogs from spicy links kobasa, beef even nachos the prices are fair. Be prepared wait for your hot dog between 5 – 10 minutes once you order because they build each hot dog to order I had the spicy dog on a french roll it was very filling, the bun was nice and soft the spicy dog had some heat but not to overwhelming price for this was $ 6.45 with a soda(average lunch here is like 10.00−13.00) so this is a really great lunch deal I recommend you visiting them and trying any of there hot dogs but don’t wait too late they are only open from 10:00 — 2:303:00

Excellent service, staff is very friendly. I had the brat & kraut dog and it was delicious. I like that they use fresh bread and have different options for meat. It wasn’t busy when I went so I was served pretty quickly. Will definitely be checking this place out again!

Keeping the 4 stars in perspective for a «Food Truck» this is a great one to visit! Decent selection of all beef dogs, brats, smoked sausage, and hot links with more than enough fresh and scratch made toppings to satisfy all served on fresh rolls! The service was great, the trailer was super clean, the prices well within reason(for filling servings including a couple of sides and drink serving four of us for $ 21.00), and sides from scratch. I’m a fan and will return! One thing to keep in mind is the quick service was based on no line when we went, about 10 minutes from order to serving… I had the«Boss Dog» which was an all beef(not your typical dog from the grocery but a quarter pounder with a sausage like quality), Kraut, deli mustard, and a horseradish aioli… sided it with a scratch made potato salad. Don’t know the owners but they were very polite and friendly showing pride in what they’ve offered… The location, menu, and other details are on Facebook… I highly recommend you check it out. In Ridgecrest it is very difficult to find a gem foodie stop… This would definitely be one!

This place is great! They have tons of different types of dogs, and of the three I have tried, they have been great. The people there are friendly, and I love that they offer locally made old fashion soda(IWV). The hours are a bit of a bummer, and the fact that they aren’t open on weekends is as well. The prices are great and the location works well. I will be returning again and again
