One of my Favorite places in Ridgecrest. I love the laid back fun atmosphere. It’s the only BBQ place I order shrimp and chips or fish and chips more than I do the sandwiches. Plus I crave their coleslaw. Good job !!

Had lunch here with some of my co-workers and it was good. I had the charbroiled chicken salad and everything tasted so fresh and the chicken was great. The decoration is cool but I didn’t care for the tv’s in the boothes. Some people weren’t watching sports as I would think they are for and watching things inappropriate for an eatery. The service was good too. They are very attentive and friendly.

First off, this seems like a great«go to» place and I’ll try it again. It was clean and the wait staff was friendly and appropriately on top of refills etc. I got the pulled pork and it was ho hum. I asked for spicy but it was really sweet and not at all spicy. The pork itself was tender and juicy, just not a lot of flavor. It would be great if they would up the seasoning while cooking it and maybe offer the sauces in bottles so I could choose and add my own. I have a feeling this will be a 4 star place after I try some other dishes and find my favorite. Absolutely worth the trip. Prices are $$ — not expensive but also not cheap.

I was passing through Ridgecrest coming back from a family trip to Death Valley and was famished, so drove around and found this place. The outside of of the restaurant wasn’t much to look at, and the décor inside looked like a converted pizzeria, but what happened when we sat down for some food was a pleasant surprise! Some of the tables had Directv connected LCDTV’S you have control over and the wait staff was attentive and gave great service. As for the food… we ordered a full rack of their St. Louis style ribs, NY Steak, and a ribeye steak. The ribs came with cornbread and 3 different BBQ sauces(the sweet sauce is my personal favorite), and the steak came with soup or salad, and we opted for the salad and we got fries and creamed corn. Great food, we stuffed ourselves and got a glass of Guiness, and tried a few of the other recommended beers on tap. Next time you find yourself in Ridgecrest, this is the one and only place you’re going to want to stop by and eat. Trust me, you’ll thank me later…

My family and I love Casey’s and always have a great experience. The food is consistently awesome, always seated immediately, and the servers are very friendly and check on their customers constantly. Never a bad experience here, definitely a great BBQ place for the whole family.

I am updating a previous review. Last time we came here the food was so good. Now here again 2 years later and the char broiled chicken dinner was really tough and dry, the green beans were canned and not good at all and the corn on the cob was so so bad. The ice water was good though.

Love the people, enjoy the food. Business is in the old El Charro building and even with fresh paint, it feels dark and the carpets are filthy, which is gross. If they lighten up things and clean the carpet, it would be higher in our list of places to eat. Love the burgers, steaks, salads, and fried mushrooms… And the salad dressings are great. 5 stars for the service. Gerald had our party of around 20 people. Maybe a few more then that. He was outstanding. THEBEST service I have ever had with a group. I absolutely dread group things ay restaurants because the service is always loosey or slow. He was attentive, funny, recooked the groom’s tenders when they came out cold without being asked. And the food was good. The chicken nachos were great…

The booths are SUPER uncomfortable. The server made a big deal about seating us in a booth with a tv. The tv did not work. The food was good, portions were good, price was good. Very slim pickins in Good Ol’ Ridgecrest. The staff is very friendly.

Not one of my favorite places to eat, but I went here with a group recently for lunch. I’ve eaten here previously over the years and honestly my experience in the past has been poor with these guys. Today’s experience was better than expected, I had the pulled pork sandwich with French fries and they actually tasted pretty good… my fries came out lukewarm which I’m not a fan of, and when originally placing my order with the waiter I was told that I could not have a baked potato as a side because they are only made for dinner service. I was slightly annoyed, just because the menu does not correctly reflect the availability of some menu items. It took 30 minutes for my food to come out. I’ve certainly had better BBQ but the food wasn’t awful.

Great food and fantastic employees. Casey was a true gent and took care of my buddies and I and even kept the place open till the wee hours of the morning. Definitely recommend this place if you are in town or even if you are just passing through. Try their Heat Sauce, it’s delicious and I hope they get marketing rights soon so I can buy it in San Diego!

It really really pricey but the food is good, they have tvs on the table so their really isn’t enough space to eat but the service wasn’t bad its mostly for older folks.

I was greeted by having the waiter ask if he should set a table for him, my wife and myself. This joint has been the highlight of our stay in Ridgecrest. We have tried all the main spots and this place has left us in awe. The wings were good. The steak was flavorful and cooked as ordered. The sides would be better if they were fresh and not canned/frozen… But we ARE in Ridgecrest. Wait staff ALL checked in on us. Corny jokes in abundance. Little TVs at your table. Fresh sodas. Lots of families and couples of all ages eating here. Pretty busy for a place in the middle of nowhere. Good place. Good vibes. Good people. Good foods. Good times. I highly recommend that people check this place out. Tons of options. I would not hesitate to go back.

There are lots of things caseys does right and a few they do wrong. If they changed those few they would get 5 stars from me. The things they do right, wonderful fresh salads. Appetizers and lunches are delicious. Burgers are good. The main complaints I have is I wish they used fresh vegetables for their sides instead of canned/frozen. Also wish the jalepeno poppers came with a few more for the price they charge. Besides that I enjoy the food. Their service is 5 stars, the wait staff is always attentive and polite. I personally recommend the salads, the pulled pork nachos, and the burgers. I haven’t tried the steaks or many of the dinners so I won’t base my rating off of them.

The bar was empty on a recent Tuesday night and just sauntered inside and had an average meal. The Mohave Red Lager was an excellent beer choice and if you request you will get a free bowl of good popcorn. The Burgers are either ½ or ¼ pound — I chose the small version. The beef is supposedly fresh ground and it was an good, well cooked burger, with mushrooms and swiss for about 9 bucks. You get a huge choice of sides, but the sweet corn fritters underwhelmed with just a deep fried taste and no unique dipping sauce or any dip. Still, the meal served it’s purpose and the large burger might be the way the to for just two bucks more next visit.

In the unlikely event you find yourself in Ridgecrest, CA, go to Casey’s for dinner. I was doing something at China Lake and worked long days. Casey’s was walking distance from the hotel I was staying out. While rustic in décor, they got the big screen TVs to watch the latest rout on Thursday Night Football. And the draft beer is cold and good. I ate there twice and ordered the rib-eye steak both days. It’s a 12-ouncer(although my first steak looked a bit less than ¾ pound). Both times it was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, had a good sear, and needed little or no salt as the meat had a great flavor and quality to it. As good as the steak was, the star of the game was the fried mushrooms. I’ve never had it, but it sounds as good as it reads. Nice mushroom caps are fried in a delicious batter. Dip them into ranch dressing and you get a rich spectrum of flavors. Other things I had for sides were man-n-cheese, fries, and a very nice Caesar salad. The staff was very nice and I had the same server both days — a very attractive and very friendly young lady.

The food was pretty good. Surprisingly, the $ 3.75 glass of Merlot was very good, and the waitress was great. However, the carpet on the way to the bathroom looked filthy.(The bathroom itself was clean.)

This place was okay. I went a few friends for lunch and my food was okay. I ordered a chicken BBQ sandwich, it wasn’t too special.(This place seems to be a pork place, and I don’t eat pork.) Though, the service here was a good pace. I may give this place another try in the future with a different entrée.
