I had to stay several days and needed the cheapest place. There’s a reason it’s only 38 a night on 3rd party apps! You can hear everything your neighbor says and does– literally can hear when they get a text or are talking and snoring. There are bugs EVERYWHERE. The parking lot is empty maybe 3 – 4 cars but they put u all right beside each other If you cannot afford to stay somewhere else and don’t mind noise or bugs it’s ok here for you. Otherwise go elsewhere– the room doesn’t even have a coffee maker!

If I could give them no stars, that is what they deserve. I was coming from San Diego to visit my Great Gramma. I brought my newborn son that needed a nice air conditioned room in a desert town. My Gramma had made a reservation and they said she could pay over the phone. When I got there they saw the reservation but said she could not pay over the phone. No big deal, so then I let them know politely there was a miscommunication. I then asked if I could quickly go see one of the rooms. I do this to make sure the rooms are clean and the AC is sufficient. They were extremely rude when I asked this and they took a huge offense to it. They barked back, literally, saying that this is new property, you pay and if you don’t like it then come back and we will refund. I asked them to please not be upset that I requested to see a room, I had never had a problem with asking this before. They stopped talking to me and looked away. This was HORRIBLE customer service, HORRIBLE. They could care less I was there to use their business. The way they handled this was disgusting to me. I could tell they were very judgemental. So I went down the street and for just $ 30 more I got a luxurious room at the Marriott that had a pool, jacuzzi, WONDERFUL staff, and a phenomenal breakfast.

I wish I didn’t have to give 1 star… I travel a lot and frequent hotels and motels. These people were the rudest I have come across… You would think a small desert town motel would want to be welcoming to attract business, but not these people. They were rude to me, and very rude to my wife. If you are passing thru this small desert town, keep moving. There is a reason the parking lot is empty. We got a room at the Marriott down the street and they were very glad to have us there.

i stayed here a week for work. the rooms weren’t that bad and the pretty cheap. also, the owner gave me a week of free breakfast at denny’s. but, do not, i repeat do not stay here! the man at the front desk is very rude. he got smart with me on several occaisons, and after i left, i tried calling back asking a simple question; this rude **** told me he was busy and hung up on me! i called back and we got into a pretty good arguement! should’ve listens to the reviews and stayed away. so, please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. this is actually the first time a reviewed a bussiness so you know its bad!! haha

Hands down horrible! And hotel itself isn’t bad but the customer service is just terrible! I walked In with a friend after a 4 hour drive(we had a reservation for 2 people for 6 days) and complimented the smell of the food.(it smelled really good). What happened next was something that I didn’t expect: that Indian guy started yelling at me saying that I’m disrespectful. I honestly didn’t know what to say. But when he saw my reservation his attitude suddenly changed. What’s even better this morning we went to grab some coffee from the lobby and when we asked for more he starred us down and walked away. I have 5 more days staying here. Help!

Honestly, this place does not deserve my time to write a review, so simply put: horrible experience, some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced by the owners of all people, and the A/C blows… and by blows I do not mean cold air. Spend a few extra dollars down the street at Best Western. ‘Nuff said — hopefully you all find this helpful.

We stayed here Friday Sept 20th, and had a great experience. We were heading to Red Rock Canyon, Fossil Falls, Manzanar, Mt. Whitney, Alabama Hills, Lone Pine Film Museum, etc. and just needed a clean safe hotel to sleep and shower at before starting our travels. This hotel fit what we needed perfectly. I booked the hotel from priceline for $ 55, and wasn’t sure what we’d find. The hotel, and the room were very clean. The room had a flat screen tv with Directv, a frig, a desk, 2 chairs, and 2 queen beds. I knew this was a budget hotel so I knew not to expect a hair dryer, pool, or breakfast. There is a Denny’s and a Starbucks just down the road, and plenty of other food options nearby. The hotel and room felt very safe, and I didn’t worry about items being stolen from my truck bed. The hotel was quiet and seemed to attract more respectful travelers vs partiers. From what I saw there were foreign travelers, families, and military families(Navy Base down the road). I will be returning to the Americas Best Value Inn & Suites when return next summer. I will also be returning to Mt. Williamson motel in Independence(info below). If you are going to Lone Pine to see Mt. Whitney, Alabama Hills, Eastern Sierra Museum, Lone Pine Film Museum or Manzanar book the Mt. Williamson Motel in Independence. It’s a great place and the owners make you a real breakfast in the morning.

It was a dark, rainy night. After 7 hours of driving from Vegas I pulled up to the FIRST Americas Best Value Inn, and saw it was closed! Funny, I had a reservation made online earlier in the day! I call the number on the confirmation, and get someone answering«hello». Now when one calls a business one expects them to answer with the business name so I hung up. Confused, tired, and frustrated I figure it was a bogus reservation and stopped at the next hotel I see. Once in my room my gut says to call that hotel again. This time dude answers the right way.(same number, i just redialed from the call log) Furious, I explain that because of the(unprofessional) way he answered the first time I figured it was a bogus reservation and asked for a full refund. He stated I would get one night… Not satisfied I told him it was all or I call my credit card company. Dude got nasty, hung up on me 3 times(twice after I asked for proof of the full refund he finally agreed to) and I had to call back from a different number to get him to answer before he hung up on me the final time. DONOTSTAYHERE. –Received an email from the SAMEGUY apologizing and offering me 15% off my ‘next stay’, but he totally made it sound like it was the first he was hearing of it.(I had emailed corporate) We’ll see if I do that one!
