This reminds of a cute neighborhood sweet shoppe out in the country. The staff is fantastic and there are dozens of favors to try. They also sell old fashioned candy. You can order cakes too — they even have a cake for dogs adorned with treats. We visit frequently during the summer — and so do a lot of others, so be prepared to wait on line!

3.5 stars(rounding up to offset the other undeserved 2 star review) Neighborhood ice cream shop only open during the warmer months. Not certain when they close down for the rest of the year. Ice cream is a little pricey, but that is what you pay for homemade ice cream in dozens of varieties. Service is always decent and they are happy to let you try the ice cream before you buy. A pint costs almost $ 6.50 plus tax(came out to $ 7.05) and they are CASHONLY. they also have ice cream cakes and«flying saucer» type take away ice cream; priced similar or better than Carvel. Beloved neighborhood creamery but unlikely to attract customers from far and wide.

This place is a nice neighborhood place to get a sweet treat, however a little pricey, you could easily blow your wad if you go in with your family. I went in there to get a pint of ice cream one time and it was three scoops in a container, for 6 bucks! What is very puzzling is the tip cup at the register.
